The closest solution of this type known from the prior art is described in US Patent Application No. 08 / 483,710. It applies to the method and to the implementation of integrated brokerage services and other financial services, through terminals activated by clients.
Generally, solutions of this kind are used in financial transaction systems, especially in the integrated system of full client banking service and a single account opening system that gives the client access to the full range of global financial services using various access points.
In recent years, financial institutions have become largely diverse. For example, banks offer a wide range of products and services not yet available. New products and services can be divided into two main categories - new technologies for cooperation with financial institutions and new financial services or "Products" offered by financial institutions.
Innovative technologies for cooperation with banks now include common automatic cash register machines and client-activated terminals (English ATM and CAT abbreviations) and in recent times, video telephones, personal computers configured for banking, personal digital auxiliary devices, voice responsive systems, and smart cards. Existing technologies give bank customers the ability to access their banks from anywhere, anytime. Despite the existence of such an advanced technique, few bank customers use the full range of access points.
Financial institutions offer a wider range of traditional bank accounts as well as investment and financial services. According to the traditional marketing approach of banks, new bills are created for clients, usually checking or saving bills. Then, when the bank offers additional financial products or services, the bank tries to sell new accounts to customers who already have bank accounts.
One of the barriers resulting from the traditional way of opening accounts and selling new accounts is the fact that the customer must re-provide the bank with the same data. This is very inconvenient and the inconvenience is a significant obstacle to marketing financial services.
Financial services are characterized by high inertia. Once the customer opens the account, he is reluctant to change it due to the heavy burden of this activity. Most people don't buy financial services very often, and it is difficult to re-sell financial services to the same customer.
It is important to focus on building a relationship with the customer, not just opening a single account for the customer. Experience shows that the customer's relationship with the bank expands as the customer's balance increases. It was found that the only way to establish a long-term relationship with the customer is to open an account where the customer immediately has access to the full range of services.
Attempts have been made to create a structure consisting of a combination of bills. The Citicard bill, introduced in 1976 and 1977, was the first bill to allow four or five bills to be linked mechanically. The Citicard account combines a simple settlement account, short-term savings, term savings, 90-day savings, check services and a credit line for checks. In the following years, other banks copied this approach and began to offer so-called combined accounts, which are essentially bank settlement accounts with some savings elements and perhaps a credit line, which is a very traditional banking product.
Asset management accounts offered by some brokerage firms were another option. These accounts offered many elements regarding trading in securities in one account. However, brokerage firms were not able to offer traditional banking services. One example is the cash management account (CMA) of Merrill Lynch. Aspects of this account are set out in US Patent Nos. 4,346,442, 4,376,978, 4,597,046, 4,674,464, 4,744,663, and No. 5,706,922. The invoice offered by Merrill Lynch was restricted to trading securities and not contained all banking products.

Similarly, when a client opens a brokerage account, there is no need to separate the account for stock trading or trading for a steady income.
The next type of Citibank account was the so-called asset network account, which covered the full range of brokerage services and, in addition, full banking service. This form of account, known as FOCUS, has been converted into a CitiGold account. This account, like brokerage accounts, was addressed to sophisticated investors. The main feature of this account was the transfer of funds to the money market account, in daily periods of time. Such an account is not, however, suitable as a broad market account that would be intended for less sophisticated investors. The CitiGold account did not include credit card support as part of the invoice. The CitiGold account was an elite account addressed to sophisticated investors.
The CitiGold account system introduced the idea of integration and holistic presentation using all access points available to the user, including ATM terminals, automatic voice-responsive systems, telephone operators, information screens, banking services available through a "home banking" computer, video banking services conferences and the like. So, with every possible way of contacting the financial institute, the client sees the same way of presenting the invoice and has the same possibilities of making the transaction.
The next stage in the development of the Citibank account was the CitiOne account, introduced in the early nineties. The account allows you to combine transactional accounts, specific traditional bank accounts, and bank savings accounts so that the customer can access all of these accounts. In some areas, the CitiOne account includes services related to securities and loans, such as credit line services.
Along with the CitiOne invoice, customer accounts can be combined randomly so that various products and services of financial institutions can be combined with each other and appear on the customer's list. This procedure is carried out immediately depending on the client's needs. The basic service available in the United States were check services, time savings and insured cash bills, certificates of deposit (English CD abbreviation) and credit cards.
The next stage was the Citibank Cash Management Bill (CMMA English abbreviation) introduced in January 1993. The CMMA account allows clients to combine separate accounts and perform a variety of financial transactions including traditional banking, brokerage and credit services. Again, a single customer account can be combined to form specific combinations of available products. The system systematized these elements according to categories such as "your money in the bank", "securities", "loans and credits", "credit cards" and the like. Among other things, CMMA enabled bank customers to perform operations "at one time". Efforts have been made to introduce a unified presentation. For example, when using video telephone and banking services available via a computer, the top menu looks the same as the menu in ATM devices. However, after passing the home screen, the systems were varied.
Despite the opportunities offered by the CitiOne and CMMA accounts, there is still a significant area of expectation for improvement. It has been found that some infrastructure elements are in the right place, but the understanding and concept of a single bill, which contains all these elements, has not yet been achieved. The accounts are still linked on an ad hoc basis and customers are required to open individual accounts. This requires an effort to educate customers about these bills and efforts to sell these bills.
Along with the technological advancement in remote product delivery, the new bills offer the possibility of implementing improved customer service as well as achieving significant operational efficiency and reducing costs. However, the potential benefits that can be gained from using an integrated financial system, such as the Citibank Cash Management Account (CMMA English abbreviation), have not yet been fully achieved.

There are some shortcomings in currently available financial systems that may contribute to less than fully realizing the benefits offered by new technologies and services. For example, existing systems are not as user-friendly as they could be. Despite the fact that the customer has access to the system in various ways, doing so requires the user to have certain skills, for example, computer skills, or a certain degree of technical skills that the potential customer does not have. Thus, there is a need to simplify access systems to various services.
In addition, customers are not always aware of the variety of services offered by the bank. While the bank often announces and promotes such services inside and outside its branches, not all customers attach importance to this, or are susceptible to this type of promotional activity. Perhaps, the efforts put into the promotion do not necessarily reach customers while they are open to change.
Thus, there remains a need to improve the integrated provisioning system, financial services in particular, there remains a need to improve the system of access to financial institutions and the establishment of client accounts within a financial institution.

The present invention introduces an improved system of conflict-free access to the integrated financial system. The single invoice of the present invention is a broad market calculus, intended for a very wide spectrum of people. The bill introduces investment opportunities, full banking services, the ability to cover bills, and loan options - basically everything a customer could do financially. The invoice may also contain provisions regarding insurance funds8
188 526 pension and retirement pensions. The present invention is characterized by the integration of various services and a system that makes these services available to customers. In this way, all services are provided. made available to clients in all access points in a consistent manner.
To improve the availability of such accounts, it is helpful to have a consistent user interface at all access points. A consistent interface facilitates technical support, but is even more important for customers. When a bank offers more products, it must make it easier for the user to use new and existing products. A consistent user interface encourages you to quickly familiarize yourself with new products and technologies.
In one preferred embodiment of the invention, the broad categories of elements that are included are investment services, transactional banking services (bank investments, guaranteed account interest rates and certificates of deposit), securities (shares, derivatives, trust funds) periodic fees, secured loans, unsecured loans, credit cards. The invoice may contain insurance components, including elements of property, health and life insurance. The invoice may also contain retirement elements, including 401K elements (a savings plan that allows employees to pay a fixed portion of income to the pension fund), and an IRA (individual retirement account) all depending on the tax base.
Talc thus the system of the present invention has three basic characteristics. First, it provides clients with access to financial institutions in many different ways; including automatic cash register machines, video telephones, personal computers, telephones and the like. Secondly, the system introduces a consistent user interface.
Another difference is that a single invoice according to the invention is more extensive than previous invoices. For example, the invoice of the present invention includes a credit card service component, a component responsible for brokerage services, and the option of using insurance and retirement items. All bank services are included in a single account according to the present invention, not just the choice of services. In addition, a single invoice according to the invention can be offered globally regardless of the location of the bank branch.
The invention also introduces a system of opening an account during a single session, which includes measures for collecting data on the client's financial and / or investment situation, measures for carrying out the necessary analysis based on collected data, measures for presenting account information, and means for submitting an order based on the necessary valuation, means for introducing elements chosen by the customer, means for adding account elements to a single account, in order to build a single account that would provide all elements selected by the user that would best meet the user's needs, means for checking credit possibilities, means determining a single fee based on remote access to products including (^^ <docs introducing the customer's personal and bank card identification codes; measures for ideating missing data and measures asking the user to enter data that has not yet been entered. The system also contains means connecting data fields in each element, so that once entered data are transferred to all relevant fields. In addition, the system is constructed so that the user can bypass the data field and enter the data later during the sessions.
An important feature of the invention is the fact that it enables data flow up and down the process, so that once entered data is sent to any location where it is needed. In other words, all similar data fields are connected. This fact introduces several advantages. First, the user (bank employee) does not have to ask the customer for data that has already been entered, even if some other user entered the data. Secondly, the user has the freedom to collect data and can present it to the client at the right time.
The system of the present invention preferably further comprises means for storing a pending data file for storing data that has been collected but is not immediately needed. In this way, if data is needed during the next visit
188 526 customer at the bank, the data will be recalled without having to ask the customer to enter the data he or she has already entered.
In addition, the system enables the client to interact with a financial institution that provides broad access. a range of services, with the help of many different means including automatic cash register devices, video telephones, telephones, personal computers, cash register branches and the like, without the necessity of acquiring new systems. In other words, the system always provides a uniform customer interface. The ideal system is an account that manages all customer money and allows the customer to complete all transactions 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world. In this way, the customer can choose whether he wants to visit the bank in person, make a phone call, use a computer, the available services are identical independent of the customer's experience. Each access point is simply another window to financial services bills.
Because the system is fully integrated, it introduces operational efficiency and cost reductions. This enables financial institutions to transfer savings to customers, which in turn strengthens loyalty and helps build relationships. As a result, the invention encourages the introduction of a cycle of increased efficiency and cost reduction that benefits both sides of the financial institution and the client and binds the client to the financial institution more closely in a manner that benefits both sides, the client and the financial institution.
From the financial institution's point of view, the system, by offering the customer benefits, encourages the customer to be loyal and build relationships. The invention does not apply to making cross transactions and convincing clients to set up new accounts, but introduces the entire range of services in a single account so that clients will be convinced that they do not need to use anything else than what they have.
The system has obvious efficiency, but may have even greater advantages in the field of loyalty and overcoming customer resentment. From the client's point of view, after opening a single account, he has extensive financial links with the bank, not just a single account. The customer immediately has access to a wide range of financial services, which can be used very quickly.
The invoice according to the invention is directed to a wide spectrum of customers - ·. Thus, one of the critical features of the invention is the introduction of demarcations that make customers understand the difference between securities and insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Fund with the money in the bank. It is also necessary to prevent the unintentional combination of uninsured securities with federally insured deposits. Thus, the invention introduces a balance sheet with a clear demarcation between securities and insured deposits.
Thus, one aspect of the invention is an integrated financial system that introduces a single client account that allows the client to make differentiated financial transfers including at least banking and brokerage transactions; user interface allowing the customer to access the account from many different sources including at least automatic cash machines, telephone, personal cash transaction and means presenting the user with a consistent interface suitable for carrying out each transaction, regardless of the source used to access the account. The invoice is flexible enough to cover various other elements such as credit card services, elements of credit lines, guaranteed loans, and money market services.
Another aspect of the present invention is the introduction of a method of opening a single integrated account for a client during a single session, which includes the steps of building a database containing a user profile, containing demographic information, and financial information about the client, such as credit information and financial goals; conducting a needs analysis based on collected information; activating the account based on an analysis of needs and presenting information to the client about the elements of the selected account; presenting an image of a bank statement; database update reflecting the customer's choice of at least one of the account elements, displaying a second image of the statement - from the account
188 526 banking, which image has been changed in relation to the customer's choice and printing of at least one registration form.
The invention introduces a system for opening an account during one session in an integrated financial system, of the type characterized by having a single account that includes at least an element of check services, savings services, and an element of brokerage services. The system includes measures for creating an individual profile, which contain measures for collecting derived data; means for building a single client account which contain means for building at least an element of check services, savings services and an element of brokerage services, as well as means for transferring the collected data at any stage of the process to each of the points where these data are needed, so the data need not be introduced more than once. Preferably, each component of a single account contains data fields, the system further includes means for transferring data between the data fields and means for filling data fields in the various elements that are associated with them, so the data entered in one data field can be copied to other related data fields.
The system may also contain means for generating multiple queries about specific data elements that the user can subject to personal evaluation, providing adequate time to collect this data, and a pending data file that stores information that has also been collected but is not immediately needed. The system also advantageously contains means for building various other elements of the account, including an element of services related to credit cards, an element of an account related to servicing credit lines, an element of an account related to secured credit, an element of an account related to the money market, and an element of an account related to insurance services, and pension.
The system contains means for presenting the image of a bank account statement, which is combined with the means of building a single account, which means that the image of the bank account statement is updated along with the account structure.
The subject of the invention is explained in the embodiment in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 is a diagram of the integrated computer system according to the invention, Fig. 2A - block diagram illustrating the steps in a preferred embodiment of the method of opening an account for a new customer in the integrated banking system, Fig. 2B block diagram illustrating the steps in the preferred embodiment of the method of opening an account for a person who is already a bank customer, in the integrated computer system according to the invention, Figures 3A-3C, and the flowchart illustrating the process included in the selective analysis / account needs stage in the method of Fig. 2, Figs. 4A-4E, flowcharts illustrating the preferred embodiment of the step of building a personal profile in the method of Fig. 2, Fig. 5A-5M - flowcharts illustrating the beneficial process of performing the account building step in the method of Fig. 2, Figs. 6A-6G - flowcharts illustrating the process included in the account service stage of the method of Fig. 2, Fig. 7 is a flowchart illustrating the process performing the printing step of the registration form of the method of Fig. 2, Figs. 8A-8F are flowcharts illustrating the preferred process of performing the step of setting the access levels according to the method of Fig. 2, Fig. 9 / A-9B - flowcharts illustrating the process of performing a reverse information flow step in the method of Fig. 2, and Figs. 10A-10C are examples of facsimile screens of statements generated by the system of the invention.
The term "user" used in the description typically describes a bank employee, such as a banker, manager of the privileged customer accounts department of a representative of the bank's customer service call center, and thus working with a new customer. In addition, the term "bank card" means a bank access card such as Citicard, not a credit card.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an integrated computer system according to the invention. The main principle of this .system is to keep a single customer account 17, which contains various elements enabling the client to conduct various financial transactions. These transactions can be grouped into major categories, such as
188 526 like money in the bank, securities, liabilities and loans as well as credit cards. In a favorable lecture, the main categories listed above will include the following: investment services, banking transaction services (bank investments, guaranteed deposit rates and certificates and deposits), securities (shares, derivatives, trust funds), periodic fees , and credit cards. The invoice may also contain insurance elements, including property, health and life insurance elements. The invoice may also contain pension elements depending on the tax base.
The system further includes a user interface 10. Figure 1 graphically illustrates the user interface 10 as a single element to illustrate that a uniform user interface is presented to the client regardless of how he accessed the system. However, the implementation of user interface 10 has several forms. For example, for personal computers, video telephones, user-activated terminals (CAT abbreviation) or the like, the user interface includes an integrator and many other various hardware devices and systems. Usually, for example, separate hardware interfaces are used to remotely deliver products and CAT terminals. At the same time, when a customer gains access to the system through a person or phone, the user interface is typically a cashier, banker or telephone service representative. To maintain uniformity, the cashier is supported by a workstation screen. Thus, the system user interface means may take various forms, a presentation screen, a sound presentation, or a bank employee performing a certain system procedure. The hardware user interface between the branch (for checkout services) is definitely different from the hardware interface for remote access devices (personal computers, video telephones, PDAs). But the uniformity of the solution and independence from the structural form of the user interface lies in the fact that the image that is presented to the user remains the same.
As shown in Fig. 1, clients can reach the user interface through various access points 12 (1,2 ... n). The contact points include a PC 12 (1) personal computer, CAT terminals activated by customers, or ATM 12 (2) banking machine, SBT video videophone or 12 (3) video phone, telephone using the AVR 12 automatic speech recognition system (4), keyboard with speech synthesizer or PBX 12 telephone (5), personal digital assistant PDA 12 (6), cashier or banker using workstation 12 (7) and telephone representative of the USCC bank using workstation 12 (8). Bank statement 12 (9) is also a form of access point through which the client comes into contact with the bank. In summary, the system introduces a wide range of different access points to provide a uniform user interface that allows access to the account, which gives the opportunity to use various financial services.
The integrated system according to the invention gives the opportunity to improve customer loyalty and increase the bank's efficiency. However, to take advantage of these opportunities, the bank must be to make existing and new customers of the bank start using the system. So an important aspect is the introduction of a single account opening system that contains a full range of financial elements. This process, sometimes referred to as a one-step account or bundling, involves several main stages. These are: account selection, needs assessment, building an individual profile, building a customer account, choosing services provided to the customer, customer registration in the case of services related to remote access, printing the registration form, issuing a bank card, determining the identity and number of people having access to the account and finally, providing the client with relevant instructions.
Means for implementing these steps include a general purpose computer programmed computer, a modem, a printer, and a card extruder. The computer is programmed so that it enables differentiated bills that are effectively (but not actually) connected, and not in an ad hoc way. Generally, the system includes measures for collecting data on the client's financial and / or investment situation, measures for performing needs analysis based on collected data, measures for presenting account information, measures for preparing recommendations based on needs analysis, measures used to enter account elements selected by the client, funds
188 526 used for facsimile gifts or an image of a customer's bank statement, means for adding account elements to build a single account that provides all services that the client has requested and best meets the client's needs, means for updating the facsimile representation of the account statement banking, measures to carry out the credit check, means for determining a single fee based on the services provided, means for registering a customer in the case of services related to remote access including funds issuing bank cards and personal identification codes, means for identifying missing data and measures reminding the user to enter data that have not yet been entered .
Figures 2A and 2B show the preferred sequence of processes carried out with the system according to the invention. In detail, Fig. 2A shows the process for a new customer, and Fig. 2B shows the process for an existing customer. These processes are naturally very similar to each other. The difference lies in the fact that the bank already has basic information about existing customers and the fact that existing bank customers usually already have some knowledge of the services and access devices offered by the bank. More generally, the differences in process steps relate to the difference between account creation and account conversion. The sequences of specific stages can differ without departing from the main purpose, specifically one-session account opening. The preferred embodiment of the system performing the steps of Figs. 2A-2B is illustrated in detail by the flow chart of Figs. 3A-9B.
The system according to the invention is provided with means for customer and customer, by means of which the identification step 100 or customer greeting is carried out. An optional but useful stage for opening the account in one session is the presentation stage of the initiating screen, which is sometimes referred to as the welcome stage. During this stage, preliminary customer information is collected and the purpose of the customer visit is determined.
When contacting the bank, typically by visiting a branch, the customer is greeted and queued. This welcome stage is useful for identifying new customers. New customers are required to have the name, address and purpose of the visit. For existing customers, the customer is identified in several different ways: invoice number, name (both alone and in combination with the address and zip code), social security number, bank card, or by entering the number or by inserting a bank card and entering a personal code PIC identification. The computer system is provided with means such as a specially programmed general-purpose computer or workstation and an input device (such as a keyboard, card reader, mouse or touch screen) that allows the user to enter data obtained from the customer.
The welcome stage measures then create (for new customers) or recall (for existing customers) a profile that will allow (cashier or banker) to know all information available about the customer, including information on credit cards, mortgage, tax breaks and similar information. The system according to the invention advantageously introduces different levels of access depending on the user's needs and expectations. For example, a welcoming person or cashier usually has limited access because the bank expects them to complete the transaction as soon as possible. A banker generally spends more time with his client and should therefore have more access to information. If the initial identification profile has not been specified by the greeting person, the system will remind the next user to create an initial profile before credit checking. Talk so are ^;steia allows you to gather initial information in one of two stages. The system according to the invention is programmed to allow input of data in connection with one stage and then transfer it to the next or previous (preferably all) respective data fields for use in other, preferably all stages.
The initiating welcome identification stage 100 is not an indispensable stage in the system according to the invention, it is helpful in achieving the goal of making the process as easy for clients as possible, but without asking for information that is already available
188 526 introduced. The welcoming person can also define the purpose of the client's visit, direct the client towards access to alternatives and, if possible, meet the client's needs. The initial welcome stage also ensures that the next user is ready for customer service at the profile browsing stage.
The system according to the invention is provided with means for viewing the customer profile in the step of browsing the profile 200. Before meeting the customer, the user (banker) should review the customer profile in order to prepare for a commercial conversation. The system preferably includes a general purpose computer and / or a networked workstation for this purpose. Computers or workstations include a display. The basic purpose of browsing the profile is to prepare for a trading session with the customer.
The computer system is provided with means for determining needs in step 300 of determining immediate needs. Customers contact a commercial bank for very specific and simple reasons that can be dealt with quickly and do not require close personal contact. Examples include ordering certificates of deposit or US savings bills. In such cases, the customer should be served as soon as possible. The system enables this by reminding the user to determine if the customer is interested in a simple transaction that can and should be settled immediately. At this stage, the system requires a computer programmed for general purposes or a workstation with a display or other device to inform the user.
The system according to the invention is provided with means for selecting the type of radio in the step 400 of selecting the type of radio. After the client is greeted, the immediate needs of the client should be taken care of, then the client is greeted by the next user (usually the banker) and the stage of determining the client profile is continued, using the same system. The banker, also another user, may ask the client some basic questions to determine the client's overall financial needs and how to best help the client. In particular, it is determined what type of account the customer needs, assuming that the bank offers more than one class of accounts -. The account opening process is flexible enough to meet the client's interest in an opened one-piece account, such as certificates of deposit in short periods of time, as well as the client's wishes to spend more time discussing his financial needs and opening various elements of the integrated account that he most correspond. To facilitate this step, the system includes a general-purpose computer or workstation programmed to remind the user to enter the appropriate data, receive data, and send data to all relevant fields. In addition, the system also includes appropriate input devices enabling the user to interact with the computer.
Discussion with the customer will also give the user, usually a banker or a representative of the banking telephone service center, an understanding of which of the elements in the integrated bank account the customer is clearly interested in and of the elements that the user must sell to the customer. The system has the flexibility to determine the wide differences in customer interaction. To meet these needs, the system is programmed to allow data flow both forward and backward to any place where they are needed and by checking at each stage whether the necessary data has not already been entered. For this purpose, a programmed general-purpose computer is used, but the computer works as if the data fields for the elements of the invoice were combined together. In this way, specific data is requested by the system only once during the process, which customers consider the most favorable. The system also introduces a "pending file" for storing relative data that has been collected but is not needed immediately.
As shown in Figures 2A and 2B, the process after the account type selection stage varies considerably for new customers and existing customers. For new customers, the process presents all stages in turn. However, for existing customers, the user can choose to skip the bill entry or determination steps entirely
188 526 needs. This allows the user (banker) to develop their own judgment. For both processes, however, this step is essentially the same, as already described.
The system is equipped with means for determining needs, which is carried out at stage 500. The stage of determining needs is an essential sales tool enabling the user and the client to choose the best invoice and invoice elements meeting specific client needs. The system used in the needs determination stage is flexible, so that data can be entered in a sequence that is appropriate to the sales expertise of the user or call center representative and the customer's expressed needs. The system includes a computer programmed to meet the need to send data, both to the next and previous stages, to all places where they are needed. In this way, the user can temporarily delay entering critical data.
The needs determination stage involves entering data obtained in response to more specific questions that identify specific customer needs and / or sales opportunities that appear before the user. These questions will help the user customize the integrated bank account to meet the customer's needs. The system is programmed in such a way that the data entered at this stage are transferred to other relevant fields.
A description of one embodiment of the steps of selecting a bill for determining needs is illustrated in Figs. 3A-3C. This process is illustrated by the flowchart of Figures 3A-3C. As shown in Fig. 3A, when the user enters the account selection process, screens are displayed that allow him to choose between choosing the account or determining the needs. So, if the customer is interested in a specific account type, for example, "Citibank" or "CitiGold" accounts, the needs analysis process will be skipped.
In the example illustrated in Fig. 3A, when the user selects "Account Selection", he is presented with a list of available accounts for further selection of the account. If a needs analysis is needed at the same time, the user selects "Needs Analysis" and the process detailed in Fig. 3C is performed. In the specific embodiment of Fig. 3A, a default selection, "Citibank Account", may be implemented.
Fig. 3C is an example of a process for determining needs using the computer system of the invention. After the user decides that needs should be defined, menus are presented that enable them to select a specific area, for example, "Credit", "Financial Objectives", "Personal" or as the default "Financial Image". Depending on the selection made at this point, the user is asked to enter information on a specific, selected area or, if the "Financial Image" is selected, information on different areas. This process continues until the identification of needs is completed.
The process for providing product information is illustrated in Figure 3B. As discussed there, the system allows the user to enter information regarding specific areas of customer interest. The process can be repeated until all questions are asked. Here, the user can choose to make the part defining the individual profile.
Flexibility is an important aspect of the system of the invention. The user may decide not to enter specific information if, in his opinion, the customer should not be asked to provide this information at the moment. Thus, no data entry is required at this stage, but some entries are made, so when this stage is skipped, the data can be collected later.
Information obtained during the "Determining Needs" stage is possibly stored in the client's profile along with answers to basic needs determining questions. In this way, other users (bank employees) will be able to access customer information regardless of where the customer came into contact with the bank.
As already mentioned, the inventive system includes a "pending file" for storing information that has been collected but is not immediately needed. In detail, the system preferably includes some form of electronically readable storage devices.
188 526
The system includes a number of sales tools for the user, including credit analysis, which uses the data collected at this stage. For example, the user will have the option of presenting and printing price information.
Other available sales tools include. regarding 24-hour access, financial consulting, rates and services. The system is flexible enough to provide all these tools simultaneously, while providing the user with a quick skip of these tools. To use BPA's covoc evaluation, and any other sales tool, the system includes a programmed general-purpose computer or workstation.
The computer system is provided with means for entering bills, by means of which the stage 600 of entering the bill is carried out. For new customers, this stage involves the introduction of various types of integrated accounts offered by the bank. Preferably, available items and monthly fees are discussed. For existing customers, this stage involves getting acquainted with the new integrated account.
In addition, a credit check is carried out when the user receives clear confirmation that the customer intends to open an account. Typically, the credit check involves two separate stages: a preliminary review to check if the customer is on the list of bad customers, for example CHEX check, and the second stage of a standard credit bureau report. To facilitate credit checking in connection with external service providers and agencies, the system preferably includes a modem or other communication equipment.
Usually, the system carries out both stages of the credit check at the same time and the answers will be displayed on the same screen. However, in the event that one answer cannot be obtained, i.e. due to system problems, the other response is displayed and should not be maintained until the other is received. For credit checks, the system has the flexibility to enter only the basic information needed for it, i.e. name, address, social security number, income, and living costs. If this identification data has not been entered before, it must be entered now. The system is flexible enough to exclude existing customers from this verification process if the last credit check, the result of which is stored, has been carried out in the last 12 months, for example. In addition, two stages of credit control are performed independently, and the system has the ability to impose appropriate titles on the initialization screen. If the user was able to obtain information about employment, income, maintenance costs, the system will be able to repay a specific loan amount for each product that is part of the loan offer. The amount of qualified loan will be displayed on the same screen as the result of the credit check.
If the customer is not creditworthy, the system allows the user, typically authorized by the credit manager, to determine whether this reason may be neglected and the account opened. If an account has been opened, the circumstances of changing / neglecting the rules are remembered and stored along with demographic information about the customer. If the invoice has not been opened, a remark like 'type of procedure rejected' must be printed at the branch or customer service call center, together with the name and telephone number of the CHEX and / or credit office from which the information was received, and must be submitted to the customer.
The result of credit control and the determination of needs is a specific πΑ: οην2Ωώ ^ specifying which elements of the invoice will best meet the client's needs. The system provides the user with sales tools, such as a monitor screen or set of screens, which allow the user to clearly demonstrate the advantages of the integrated invoice, its elements and how the customer can easily reach his invoice.
Talk, therefore, the system includes a programmed computer and appropriate input devices for informing the user and collecting data to perform this stage.
188 526
The computer system according to the invention is provided with means for creating a customer personal profile in the stage of creating a personal profile 700. When the account selection / needs analysis stage is completed, the system performs the stage of creating a customer personal profile. During this stage, the user collects all personal information that has not yet been collected. Due to the system's flexibility, the data currently collected differs depending on what data was previously collected. Again, a computer with the appropriate Zen input office is used for this purpose. Preferably, a modem or other communication device is used to enable, for example, the computer to communicate with external credit bureaus.
In some cases, credit checks are performed during this stage if they have not already been carried out. Further personal information, any employment information that has not yet been collected is supplemented. One screen, counting for each person authorized to use the account, used to collect personal information and one screen, also for each person authorized to use the account, used to collect employment information. The information included in the employment screen is the name, current address, and previous employer, current work period and work period at the previous employer, an indication of the occupation from the list or catalog. The field for entering the method of verification of employment, if it is to be carried out, will be placed on this screen, and if entered, it will be sent to the credit bureau with an application for not carrying out such verification when collecting the credit decision.
The system of the invention, for opening an account, also requires the user to enter and provide information about the client's language preferences and to extend the range of services available to the client, such as activating magnetic tape on bank cards. If the customer is, for example, a temporary resident, the invoice will be marked in such a way that this fact and language preferences are displayed on the customer's profile during the next service.
A preferred embodiment of the system for implementing the personal profile stage is illustrated by the flowchart of figures 4A-4E. The process begins when the account selection / needs analysis phase has been completed. As shown in Figure 4A, the process involves collecting identification and information such as account ownership, customer name, home address and telephone number, citizenship, social security number and date of birth. The system includes a general-purpose computer programmed and / or workstation with appropriate input devices to facilitate this stage.
As shown in Fig. 4A, the system generates and displays to the user a screen of the initial profile showing the fields of data needed along with the data that has already been collected and placed in these fields. Thus, the customer does not need to provide this information again.
After the initial data collection, the system determines whether credit control has already been carried out in the previous stage. If so, the system goes to the process shown in Fig. 4D, continuing to build a personal profile. If you have not yet called the credit bureau, the system asks if any other persons will be entitled to use the board. If so, the process returns in the flowchart of Fig. 4A until the collection of preliminary profile data for each of the additional persons authorized to use the account.
After collecting the initial profile data for each of the persons authorized to use the account, a decision is made whether to contact the credit bureau. If you have not contacted the credit bureau, the process may continue, but no credit offer may be submitted. If a decision has been made to contact a credit bureau, a qualitative check is performed to determine if the collected data is complete. If not, an error message is generated and the user can continue using the pending file. If all data is complete, the process continues according to the flow chart of Fig. 4C.
As shown in Figure 4C, this part of the process starts with contacting a credit bureau. A programmed computer and communication equipment such as a modem are used for this purpose. The system checks how to transmit information to
188 526 credit bureau. In a preferred embodiment, a two-stage credit check is performed.
Based on the results of the credit bureau report, a decision is made as to whether the invoice will be approved. If the invoice has been approved, the process then continues as shown by 4D. If the assessment was negative, the screen with the results of the credit report is displayed, the user, i.e. the bank employee, despite the negative assessment has the opportunity to change decisions. If the user chooses to change the refusal decision, the process will continue as shown in Figure 4D. If the negative decision has not been changed, the user can print a rejection report and the session ends.
Fig. 4D shows the continuation of the process in the event that the customer's application has been confirmed. As shown, the process starts by asking the user to enter employment data. If the customer has been in an employment relationship with the employer for two years or less, information about the former employer is obtained. The system continues by asking for information about the workplace address, telephone number to the workplace and income. If the user wishes to rely on additional sources of income, then data on additional sources of income is also collected. The process is repeated for each person authorized to use the account. Once the data has been collected for each of the persons authorized to use the account, the process continues as shown in Fig. 4E.
The process of building a personal profile is summarized by displaying the profile screen on the screen to identify the user. If there are two or more persons authorized to use the account, the process is repeated until information on all persons authorized to use the account is displayed. Finally, a qualitative check is made to determine if complete data has been received. If all data has not been entered, a message is generated and the user has the option of continuing with the pending file. If all the data has been received, the process continues in the next stage, called account building.
The system is provided with account building means by which a banking product is selected at step 800 of the account, including making a credit decision 810. In particular, the invention introduces a visual interface that allows the user and client to observe the account while it is being built. Figures 10A-10C show an example of such visualization used in the account building process.
Talc as shown in Fig. 10A, the system displays the account information on the computer screen in the form of a bank statement, i.e. it displays a facsimile or presentation bank statement. The use of the bank statement form to build a bank account is an important element of the solution according to the invention and is consistent with the goal of presenting a uniform interface to the client. The screen shows the customer's account statement as it looks before the account is built. This example includes underlying elements such as checks, savings, IMMA insured money market, CD deposit certificates, retirement benefits, brokerage services, credit lines and credit cards. Of course, the account statement shows a zero balance for each account. When other elements described below are added, they also appear on the presented statement.
To build the invoice, the user selects one of the elements listed through the input device. If, for example, the "check" element is selected, the system will display a screen for building the check element, of the type shown in Fig. 10B. This screen allows the user to select specific items and enter the credit amounts assigned to the item. In the example shown, the user selected a regular check element. The system also asks the user to enter the size to be assigned to the check element that has been selected. For example, if the customer has chosen to assign $ 5,000 to checks, the user enters the amount and returns to the screen showing the statement of the bill.
As shown in Figure 10C, the account statement presented is updated to reflect the $ 5,000 check balance.
188 526
In this way, the customer and user can build an integrated account according to the customer's specifications, and observe the account building process step by step. In addition, the information is presented in the form of a bank statement, which is uniform at all other points where the customer has access to the bank.
When the elements of the bank account that the customer intends! found during this session have been determined, the user selects functions on the account opening screen. At the beginning, the user will select each product that will be opened during this session. Here, the system automatically assigns the appropriate item number to the appropriate item in the customer's bank account. The automatically assigned number is replaced if necessary.
Then the user collects all the necessary details such as deadlines, initial contribution, and interest rates. Then, the user enters the title of the account and all other account-specific data needed, for example the number of persons authorized to use the account if more than the default one is required. A preferred embodiment of the account building system is illustrated in Figs. 5A-5M. The system includes a general-purpose computer programmed to facilitate these steps.
As shown in Fig. 5A, the system begins the account building process by presenting the statement building screen. Preferably, the screen gives the user the opportunity to choose each of the elements of the integrated account. In the embodiment shown, the user can choose between twelve elements. When the account elements have been selected, on the screen showing the constructed statement, of the type shown, for example, in Fig. 10A and 10G, selected account elements building the account are displayed and the amounts of deposits and loans entered7 e.t.c.
Typically, the sizes for each element and relevant information about those elements are entered by selecting the element and performing the construction process for that element. However, in the preferred embodiment shown in Fig. 5A, the values for checks, savings and insured money market can be entered directly on the screen of the statement being constructed.
As shown in Fig. 5A, the system constantly gives the user the option of returning to the previous stage, i.e. building a personal profile, or going forward, the next stage, i.e. handling the account. Apart from the selection of one of these elements, part of the system shown in Fig. 5A works in a loop, so that the customer selects a specific element and performs the process previously described for that element, as shown in Fig. 5B-5M and returns to the screen of the statement being built, which is successively updated.
If the user selects the check element, the system switches to the path shown in Fig. 5B. In detail, the system displays a screen or check element screens. The user then enters the values to be assigned to the checks. The system then asks if the check item will have different owners or different addresses. If so, the system enters the subroutine to obtain additional information regarding the various persons authorized to use the invoice and / or changes in addresses. An important aspect of the invention is the fact that the user is initially presented with a screen showing all the hidden information that has been collected so far. Talk, therefore, even in a subprogram, the user and client are only required to provide information that has not been collected so far. When the check element has been built according to the customer specifications for owners and addresses, the system allows you to build another check element. If the customer decides to build another check, a message is displayed and the procedure is carried out again. If, at the same time, the customer decides not to build another check item, the system returns to the screen showing the bank statement from the fig. 5A, and then the user can choose the next item.
If the user selects the saving element from the screen showing the constructed extract, the system will follow the path shown in Fig. 5C. The process depicted in Fig. 5C is for building a savings element and is essentially the same as the process for building a check element. In particular, as shown in Fig. 5C, the user
188 526 is asked to enter the size for the savings item and then has the option to provide other additional information required for different owners and addresses. That is, again, using the procedure. And finally, the user has the opportunity to decide on the construction of another element of savings. When the savings element has been built to customer specifications, the system returns to the screen showing the extractor being built in Fig. 5A.
When the user selects the invoice item for the IMMA insured money market, the process goes through the procedure shown in Figure 5D. The process is similar to processes performed in the construction of check and savings elements. The user enters the size assigned to IMMA, and then has the option to update information on owners and addresses. Ultimately, the user has the option of building another IMMA account and the process is repeated when needed. When all IMMA elements have been built, the process returns to the screen showing the extract from Figure 5A being built.
If the user selects the deposit certificates element, the system proceeds to the procedure shown in Fig. 5E. In detail, the certificate of deposit screen is presented and the user enters the volume assigned to the certificate of deposit. The system then asks the user to enter parameters regarding deposit certificates, such as maturity date, interest payment pattern and deposit instructions. The process is then repeated until all parameters have been entered. When all parameters have been entered, the system allows the user to decide on the authorization of persons authorized to use this element of the account. The procedure starts with displaying a list of authorized persons based on previously collected data. The user can then add additional people. If additional people who have been added already have a profile prepared, no additional information is required. On the other hand, when a new person authorized to use the account is replaced, the system indicates that the new person has been replaced and their profile will be created later. When the persons authorized to use the account comply with the client's ^ ΙπΑφιπτί, the system enables the user to build another element of the type CD deposit certificates. If the user decides to do so, the process is repeated. If, on the other hand, the user decides not to build another element of the type of deposit certificates, the system returns to the screen showing the constructed extract from Fig. 5A.
If the user selects the IRA / 401K element, the system proceeds to the process shown in Fig. 5F. The process shown in Fig. 5F contains only a representation of the available options followed by the execution of the processes for building these options. The option building process could, according to the invention, be built like the processes shown in Figs. 5B-5E for building checks, savings, IMMA and CD elements. When the IRA / 401K element has been built according to customer and user specifications, the system returns to the screen presenting the constructed extract. If the user selects an element of securities or brokerage services, the system will go to the process shown in Fig. 5G In detail, the system will display a working window of securities that will allow the user to enter the date and time of the meeting or ask to call back. The reason for this is that usually information about building a security-related element must be received by a licensed bank employee. If the appointment has been set, then the system creates a message confirming the selection of the securities item, then the system returns to the screen showing the statement being built.
The system also includes measures restricting access for specific authorized or licensed users to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. For example, the information obtained under 'Brokerage Services' will be investment information or other information that may be specific to brokerage services. Under current law, "investment information" can be discussed with a client by a licensed person. Therefore, access to this screen will be limited to licensed users. The device used to limit access is preferably a programmed general purpose computer.
188 526
If the user selects the loan and credit element, such as checks plus, the system proceeds to the process shown in Fig. 5H. In detail, a preliminary check is carried out to determine whether creditworthiness has been accepted, the system displays the check plus offer, and an option screen that indicates information about the amount of available credit. The customer, through the user, can then accept the loan amount offered, request an additional loan, look for collateral for the additional loan, accept a smaller loan size than is offered or cancel the loan. The system then returns to the screen showing the extractor being built in Fig. 5A.
If the user decides to build an unsecured loan component, the system will proceed to the process shown in Fig. 51. In detail, a preliminary check is carried out to determine whether creditworthiness has been accepted. If not, the user is not authorized to build an unsecured loan item. If the creditworthiness has been accepted, the system displays unsecured loan options and interest rates. The system then carries out the process of building an unsecured loan element. When the process is completed, the system returns to the screen showing the structure of the statement.
If the user decides to build a secured loan element, the system will proceed to the process shown in Fig. 5J. In detail, the system will display a variety of secured loan options including sources of financing, fixed-rate loans to finance your home, mortgage, favorable credit lines, favorable loans, secured loans, collateral for basic loans and student loan option. The system can also display credit installments and other information. When the selection is made, the system performs the process of building the secured loan item until all the desired and available options have been built, and then the process returns to the screen showing the screen being constructed of Fig. 5A.
Additional information should be collected for some products, in particular secured loans. If the credit bureau statement did not indicate that the customer was rated "creditworthy," this screen will not be displayed until the customer requests a credit product. This screen includes data such as status information, home maintenance costs, government / HMDA supervision information, and the like. All information that has been collected as part of the PBA should be forwarded to each relevant data field in these systems.
Before providing credit information to the credit bureau, the system must perform a brief check of the data that has been entered to determine if all required data has been entered. If any information is missing, the system should prompt you to enter the appropriate information. If the information is available, the user has the option of entering it, and if it is not available, the option of placing the application in the waiting queue is introduced.
According to the solution of the invention, credit decision screens are available in the account opening process so as to eliminate the need to integrate the account opening session into another system.
The user has the option of completing the verification and all necessary credit operations, in this series of screens, in the account opening process. Verifications made for one of the loan products should be forwarded to each of the loan products in this session. Various factors, such as line size and product type, will determine the type of verification to be carried out. Verifications carried out are updated for all products requested by the customer.
If the user chooses the credit card option, the system will proceed to the process shown in Figs. 5K-5M. The system processes depicted in Figures 5K and 5L are identical, and the differences result from the differences between a classic credit card and a gold credit card offered by a specific bank. The basic process used is the process of pre-checking whether creditworthiness has been accepted, followed by an information screen regarding a specific credit card. The user then enters the required information for the credit card element, including card type, credit line, card holder, additional cards, name and photo. Then it is done
188 526 define the credit line, and then the system returns to the screen presenting the constructed statement.
If the user chooses a different card than the one offered by the bank, a process similar to that when the customer selects a specific type of credit card, the customer and the user have the option of transferring the existing credit card line to this account, or assigning a different credit line to the bank credit card . After completing this process, the system returns to the screen showing the constructed extract from Fig. 5A.
This part of the process is used to familiarize the client with the full range. available services. A programmed general purpose computer is considered the best device for this stage.
These screens will be another opportunity to show the client how he can use the bank to manage his money and make him aware of the benefits of deepening their relationship with a commercial bank. The screens must be a combination of collected data and product / service capabilities that can be viewed as needed.
A preferred embodiment of the system for implementing the service stage available as part of the invoice is shown in Figures 6A-6G
As shown in Fig. 6A, the system begins the process by reviewing the data collected so far to determine if the customer has requested the check plus service, in which case it is necessary to protect against exceeding the limit. If so, a marker is set and the system goes on. If not, the system proceeds without setting the marker. The system then determines whether or not more than one service has been activated during the selection process of needs to meet the bill. If so, markers are set to specify the information displayed on the buttons selected services on the service screen available as part of the Citibank market, and then the service screen as part of the invoice is displayed. The system then performs the process shown in Fig. 6B. The user decides to choose a service or obtain information about the service. If the user has chosen not to choose the service or obtain information about the service, the user has the option of indicating that the customer is interested in one or more additional services. If the user shows interest in one or more additional services, the system notes the need to meet this need and proceeds to printing the registration form. If the user has indicated a desire to choose a service or to obtain information, then the system goes to that particular service. Of course, banks can provide many different services. In the embodiment shown in fig. 6B the system can provide information or choose: automatic transfer, service related to settling bills, direct deposit, immediate access to deposited funds, automatic interest on deposits, secured loans, debit coverage, automatic payment of fees and electronic payment of fees.
If the user selects automatic transfers, the system proceeds to the process shown in Fig. 6C and Fig. 6D. In this procedure, the system allows the user to select automatic transfers as well as periodic transfers using the procedure shown in Fig. 6D.
If the user decides to choose the option get information regarding the service of paying invoices, the system proceeds to the process shown in Fig. 6E. As shown, the user can choose traditional recipients or special recipients. If the user decides to choose a direct deposit or immediate access to the deposited finds, the system performs the appropriate process shown in Fig. 6F. If the user decides to choose automatic payment, the system proceeds to the process shown in Fig. 6G. As presented, the system allows the user to select many fees for loans and credit lines and allows the user to choose the frequency of payment.
In each case, after completing the procedure associated with each selected service, the system returns to the process shown in Figures 6A and 6B. The system then performs the access determination stage, in which the customer receives the right to use different access points.
188 526
The personal identification code (PIC) of the bank card is selected here. Banking services available by phone are discussed and a T.PIC (telephone identification code) is issued. Checks will be ordered if selected.
The system allows the user (banker or phone representative) to register the customer as using services related to remote access. For this purpose, you can reuse the programmed general purpose computer. The system enables automatic registration of banking services available from home in the "home banking" system, as well as recording the client's personal computer type and disk size. Elements opened and connected to a bank card will also be automatically connected for the home banking system of banking services available from home. The system also allows the use of a video telephone.
A preferred embodiment of the system performing the access step is illustrated in Figs. 8A-8F. As shown in Fig. 8A, the process begins with screen display and access. The user can then revise or accept the saved account name. The procedure for this process is shown in Figure 8D.
The system then proceeds to the procedure for entering the personal identification number (PIN) shown in Figure 8D. If the invoice is a joint invoice, the acceptance and personal identification procedures are carried out for the second name on the invoice. Bank cards are used for stamping and issuing to customers. This stage may also be postponed. To facilitate stamping, the system preferably includes a conventional stamping machine connected to a general-purpose computer. If the embossing has failed, the system performs the process of displaying a message about the Waste, but allows the process to continue.
The process continues as shown in Fig. 8B. In detail, the system allows the selection of a personal telephone identification number, which is then verified. The process is carried out for each person authorized to use the account, and then the process is continued as shown in Fig. 8C. Here, the customer is given the option of using remote access to the bank using a personal computer. If the user accepts this service, it is determined whether the client knows all the parameters of her or his computer. If so, appropriate parameters such as computer type, disk size, modem type, modem speed are entered. to the system. If the customer does not know one or more of these parameters, a screen appears indicating that the data needs to be supplemented and the information is saved for later use. The system proceeds as shown in Fig. 8E. At this point, the customer has the option of accessing the system via a videophone, the system saves the customer's choice and then proceeds as shown in FIG. 8F. The customer can order checks here. The system starts by displaying the default check order and gives the user the option of changing personal checks. This applies to information such as name, address, invoice information and correspondence address. The user has the option of customizing the default order, then the user can place orders for checks. The process then performs the special instructions step, or again the process shown in Figures 9 A and B.
The system is provided with special instructions through which all other data is collected in step 1000 of specific instructions and all special account related users that have not yet been resolved in the account opening process are resolved. They may contain such elements as: "the best time to call" or the tag "please do not contact", "please do not share data with other companies", "correspondence address", "preferred form ^^ ροι ^ οη ^" and similar. The system may also close accounts in other institutions. The system includes a printer and a computer that generates a printout of a set of letters to be sent to other institutions. The system also allows for granting a power of attorney by attaching a statement establishing the power of attorney to the invoice, which eliminates the need for subsequent submission of documents. The user also has the option of arranging an appointment with an investment adviser if the user is not a licensed adviser, or arrange a meeting with a mortgage consultant. It is also possible to implement any request for changes arising from the client.
188 526
A preferred embodiment of the replenishment process is illustrated in Figures 9A-9B. The system starts by displaying the information needed to close and verify various types of bills. Again, the system allows data to be transferred both downstream and upstream, so that only data entry requests that have not been entered at this stage are triggered. The system also introduces the ability to display information on how to contact the client and gives the opportunity to view appointments. In addition, the system prints the remaining information that is necessary to complete the opening of a single integrated account.
The system is further provided with means of printing / transmitting, with the help of which the printing of the registration packet is carried out after collecting all the information or completing the definition process in step 1100. The print function generates all documents printed on paper that the customer must sign, as well as all documents that will have to be sent to any other unit / person with whom. cannot be contacted via the electronic banking system. This applies to, for example, representatives of mortgage and surveying, applications for tax breaks, applications for elite bank accounts, applications to broker offices, confirmation of investment in securities, a set of letters, specimen signatures, comments on refusal, description of credit readiness, insurance forms and bank books. To perform this step, the system includes a printer connected to the programmed computer.
The client is asked to review all critical demographic information about him, such as name, address, workplace, telephone numbers and the like. The registration statement presents the accounts opened in this session, together with the opening day balances. For a bank account, komeryyjeyn, account numbers, opening deposits, premiums, and deadlines are displayed in the appropriate section of the statement.
The main difference between a branch and a banking telephone service center is that the customer is not physically present to sign any of the documents or to take copies of the documents. This means that the banking service center must send documents to the customer that must be signed by him.
A preferred embodiment of the printing process of the registration form is shown in Figure 7. As shown, the system pre-checks that the printer is turned on. If the printer is not turned on, the system cannot continue the process until the printer is turned on. The system instructs the printer to print the registration form and receives confirmation that the printout has been completed successfully. However, if the printout was not successful, the process cannot be continued and will be repeated if the cause of the failure has been identified. After receiving confirmation that the rejejtrayyjey form has been printed correctly, the customer is asked to sign the registration form. If the customer has not signed the registration form at this time because the transaction was carried out by phone, the application is saved in a pending file.
The system is further provided with a second session means for performing the 1200 second session session (completion). All relevant documents have been signed by the client. Account opening information is now forwarded to tax or mortgage consultants if the situation justifies it. The rule is that consulting is outsourced systematically, not separately to each contract.
If the date of the supplementary session is agreed with the client, the user has the option to print and give the client a reminder about the session date. This document contains the date and time of the meeting (if known), the purpose of the meeting (such as the user entering fields that were not filled in) and the name of the banker the client will meet with. If it is not possible to determine the specific time and date of the meeting, this document indicates that the banker named will contact the client. This type of letter should include the customer's name and mailing address so that it can be placed in an envelope with a transparent window and sent to the customer if the account was opened by phone.
188 526
After the client exits, the user enters any comments on specific basic needs, for example, extracts and reviews the answers given to determine the specific needs of the client, and updates the answers as needed, sending basic and detailed information about the client's needs.
During the account opening process, it is possible to place a session in a pending file. Places in the process where the pending file is most often used are before the transmission to the credit bureau (if the SSN is unavailable), or after the quality check of the data, when the necessary information is marked as missing. In a situation where the client is forced to interrupt the session due to time constraints, it is necessary to go into a waiting state at any time. The customer may also only go through the stage of determining the needs and want to return to continuing the application process at a later date. The system allows you to put one part of jesja in a waiting state. such as brokerage services and sending other items, such as customer banking.
When the existing customer is specified in the welcome function, if there are any sessions in the pending state, this fact will be noted in his profile. If the user (the welcoming person) does not specify the customer profile, it is still possible to recall any pending application using the pending function. Pending items have a lot of ways to access them, including customer name and user ID. through the branch and through the product.
Pending notification is presented to the user in the process of displaying the account opening screen. The user also has the option of performing a quality control to have a system identifying missing elements that are required before transmission. to the host computer.
The customer has the option of going to the bank branch of his choice and completing the account opening operation. Branch employees also have access to pending applications. The workstation screen also has a tag showing the customer for whom process elements are waiting for the customer when the customer is entered on the "Customer Identification" screen.
Talk, therefore, by using the advantages of the integrated account and the system for the electronic collection and storage of customer data according to the invention, all elements of the bank account are offered to the customer. The process is flexible enough to serve customers who want only one item from the full offer they are interested in. When customer data is entered into the system, the customer never has to repeat the same information to each of the bank employees. During the account opening session, the information was unnoticed between the bank employees (users). Existing customer data is easily available at all access points where the customer contacts the bank and the exchange of data is subject to legal restrictions. It is possible to issue bank cards to all customers, even if the only active element on their accounts is a bank book or certificates. The bank card is used as a customer identification at the cash register window, or during a telephone conversation with the banking center of telephone services and enables the attachment of new elements at the moment of their activation.
When using the computer system according to the invention, customers use more elements of the integrated account. This increases income and increases customer satisfaction, maximizes the available sales time for branch employees and introduces a call center for banking services with an identical function compared to the branch.
