Hardly flammable hydraulic fluid
The subject of the invention is a low-flammable hydraulic fluid, especially for devices operating under medium load.
It is known from Polish Patent No. 130076 hydroglycolic, low-flammable hydraulic fluid lubricant with the trade name Rokosol HS, and from Polish Patent No. 136 426 hydraulic fluid lubricant with the trade name HSG. These fluids with a viscosity at 50 ° C, equal to 20-45 cP, do not have satisfactory hydraulic-lubricating and anti-abrasive properties. These properties assessed indirectly in a 4-ball apparatus according to PN-76 / C-04147 determined by the weld load for these liquids do not exceed 126 kG. While comparable foreign liquids of this type have under the same conditions a welding load of up to 250 kg. Their disadvantage is the presence as a corrosion inhibitor - sodium nitrite, a substance with strong poisonous properties. In hydraulic fluids manufactured by foreign companies, corrosion inhibitors use organic compounds such as morpholine, e.g. according to Canadian Patent No. 1 163041, or polyoxy derivative hydrazines e.g. according to US Patent No. 4317741 or the addition of alkali, e.g. in Japanese Patent Application No. 0021 387.
The main thickening and lubricating components in foreign hydraulic fluids are different, depending on the resources available and the requirements of the users. According to US Patent No. 4310436, polymers of ethylene oxide or copolymers of ethylene and propylene oxides, sometimes modified with higher olefins or carboxylic acids, are used. These liquids have very good anti-corrosive properties, but quite poor lubricating properties and welding load up to 250 kg.
The aim of the invention was to develop, based on domestic raw materials, a formulation of hydroglycolic liquid with good anti-corrosive properties without the need for the use of toxic sodium nitrite and improved lubricating and anti-wear properties with a load
149 256 welding - up to 500 kg suitable for work under increased pressure up to 1OMPa and at a temperature from -25 to + 70 ° C.
The subject of the invention is a flame retardant hydraulic lubricating fluid, especially for devices operating at medium load, containing in its composition water, glycol, polyglycols, copolymers of ethylene and propylene oxides, corrosion and oxidation inhibitors as well as a lubricant and anti-foaming agent. The liquid consists of 5-20 parts by weight of diethylene or dipropylene glycol, 20-30 parts by weight of polyethylene oxide with a molecular weight of 600, 0-30 parts by weight of polyethylene oxide with a molecular weight of 1500.0-20 parts by weight of a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, with a wax consistency, with a molar ratio of ethylene oxide to propylene oxide like 2-5: 3-7, 0.5-2.0 parts by weight of iron corrosion inhibitors, 0.2-0.5 parts by weight of copper corrosion inhibitors, 0.003-0.03 parts by weight of oxidation inhibitor, 0.1-0.3 parts by weight of agent anti-foaming, 1-7 parts by weight of diethanolamine phosphate or a mixture of di- and triethanolamine phosphate and 40-50 parts by weight of water. Iron corrosion inhibitors are salts, esters and amides, which are reaction products of mono, di- and triethanolamine and organic acids, such as benzoic, salicylic, cinnamic, adipic, succinic, glutanoic, sebacic, maleic and inorganic acids, such as boric acid. The copper corrosion inhibitor is benzotriazole and its derivatives. Oxidation inhibitors are diisobutyl-p-cresols and phenyl-naphthyl-p-phenyl-diamine. Antifoaming agent is methyl phenyl silicone oil and its derivatives.
Example I. In 200 g of diethylene glycol and 1450 g of demineralized water in a vessel with a stirrer placed on an electric heater-stove with heating regulator, were dissolved in succession: 1000 g polyethylene oxide with a molecular weight of 600, 600 g copolymer of ethylene and propylene oxides, 16 g copper corrosion inhibitor - a commercial product called Reomet 42, which is a methyl-diethanolamine derivative of benzotriazole, 170g of diethanolamine phosphate, 60 g of monoethanolamine borate, 16 g of methyl- phenyl silicone. The mixture was stirred at 50-60 ° C for 3 hours. Then 0.1 g of phenyl-naphthyl-p-phenylenediamine was introduced, mixed for the next 3 hours and left until the next day. The liquid after decanting from a small amount of fine sediment had a viscosity at 50 ° C equal to 30 cP, alkalinity -H 8.5. Lubricating properties according to PN-76 / c-04147 / - weld load equal to 500 kG. The steel corrosion test according to BN-78 / 0535-47 showed a weight loss of 0.08 g / m22 plates after 168 hours at 60 °. A copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide was used, with a wax consistency, with a molar ratio of ethylene oxide to propylene oxide as 2-5: 3-7.
Example. Liquid: 1450g of water, 200g of dipropylene glycol, 100g of polyglycol 600, 650 g of ethylene propylene copolymer as in the example 1100 g of diethanolamine phosphate, 16 g of benzotriazole, 40 g of monoethanolamine borate, 10 g of methylphenyl silicon oil with the trade name Silpian, 0 , 7 g of diisobutyl-p-cresol under the trade name Topanol. The next step was as in Example 1. The product had the following properties: viscosity at 50 ° C - 32.1 cP, pH - 9.0, steel corrosion + 0.08 g / m2, copper corrosion - 0.04 g / m2. 400 kg welding load.
Example III. A solution of 800 g dipropylene glycol in 1450 g water heated in a 60 ° C mixer was charged with 400 g polyethylene oxide with a molecular weight of 600 and 800 g polyethylene oxide with a molecular weight of 1,500. To this homogeneous solution, 16 g of benzotriazole methyldiethanolamine derivative with the trade name Reomet 42, 65 g of monoethanolamine benzoate, 16 g of methylphenylsilyl oil with the addition of non-ionic agents as an anti-foaming agent, under the trade name Roksil and 100 g of diethanolamine phosphate were added and after mixing was introduced with diisobutyl-p-cresol under the trade name Topanol in an amount of 0.07 g. The mixture was stirred at 50-60 ° C for another 4 hours and left to stand for 36 hours. After standing, a clear liquid with a viscosity at 50 ° C of 34 cP was obtained, the steel corrosion test was + 0.04 g / m2, copper corrosion -0.01 mg / m2, welding load 315 kg.

Example IV To the solution prepared as in Example 3, as a steel corrosion inhibitor, triethanolamine maleate was added in an amount of 70 g per 3,500 g of the finished solution and 0.1 g phenyl-naphthyl-p-phenyldiamine under the trade name Ipognox-66. Steel corrosion was +0.15 mg / m2, welding load 350 kg.
