A computer implemented method of detecting change of user during a wager type game using identity verification data and behavioural data

Abstract

A computer-implemented method and apparatus for detecting a change of user during a wager-type game is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: (a) receiving at least one item of identity verification data from a mobile device; (b) enabling, by at least one processor, at least one service on the mobile device based at least in part on a match between the item of identity verification data received and at least one other item of identity verification data obtained previously, where the service comprises a wager-type game; (c) subsequent to enabling the service, obtaining at least one item of behavioural data regarding a user of the mobile device during game play, where the item of behavioural data comprises at least one of: blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature, handwriting, and body movement of a user; (d) determining that the behavioural data does not match at least one item of behavioural data obtained previously; and (e) based at least in part on determining that the item of behavioural data does not match the item of behavioural data obtained previously, prompting, by the processor, the user of the mobile device to provide identity verification data.

  1. 1
A computer-implemented method for detecting change of a user during a game, comprising:receiving at least one item of identity verification data from a mobile device;enabling, by at least one processor, at least one service on the mobile device based at least in part on a match between the at least one item of identity verification data received and at least one other item of identity verification data obtained previously, wherein the at least one service comprises a wager-type game;subsequent to enabling the at least one service, obtaining at least one item of behavioral data regarding a user of the mobile device during game play, wherein the at least one item of behavioral data comprises at least one of: blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature, handwriting, and body movement of a user;determining that the at least one item of behavioral data does not match at least one item of behavioral data obtained previously;and based at least in part on determining that the at least one item of behavioral data does not match the at least one item of behavioral data obtained previously, prompting, by the at least one processor, the user of the mobile device to provide identity verification data.
  2. 13
An apparatus for detecting change of a user during a game,, comprising:at least one processor;and a computer readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: receive at least one item of identity verification data from a mobile device;enable at least one service on the mobile device based at least in part on a match between the at least one item of identity verification data received and at least one other item of identity verification data obtained previously, wherein the at least one service comprises a wager-type game;subsequent to enabling the at least one service, obtain at least one item of behavioral data regarding a user of the mobile device during game play, wherein the at least one item of behavioral data comprises at least one of: blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature, handwriting, and body movement of a user;determine that the at least one item of behavioral data does not match at least one item of behavioral data obtained previously;and based at least in part on determining that the at least one item of behavioral data does not match the at least one item of behavioral data obtained previously, prompt the user of the mobile device to provide identity verification data.
