(57) Summary

A method of folding several flexible members (12) around a central fluid storage member includes driving an intravaginal device (10) into a folding device; imparting mutual rotation between at least a portion of the folding device and the intravaginal device; and the flexible extensions are brought into contact with the folding device. The intravaginal device includes a fluid storage member and several flexible extensions extending therefrom, and the flexible extensions are folded around the fluid storage member in a uniform direction. Instead of mutually rotating, the flexible extensions are folded by means of guide rails in the folding device. Several devices can be used in this and related processes.
