Method for producing synthesis gas, method for producing dimethyl ether using synthesis gas and furnace for use in producing synthetic gas
Abstract
There is disclosed a process for producing a synthesis gas containing no hydrocarbon and reduced concentration of carbon dioxide in the synthesis gas produced. The process of the present invention comprises converting the gas generated by partial combustion of hydrocarbon using a catalyst in a combustion chamber to generate synthesis gas mounted on a catalyst bed inside the combustion chamber, and producing synthesis gas comprising hydrogen and carbon monoxide as major components, and characterized by in that the temperature at the exit of the catalyst bed is in the range of 1100 to 1300 ° and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the produced synthesis gas is not more than 10% by volume.
