System for managing program stored in storage block of mobile terminal
Abstract
A management server (16) in an application delivery system receives a first and second application to be transmitted to at least one mobile terminal and storing data on the first and second application. At least one mobile terminal (11) receives and stores the first and second application from the management server in combination with the reliability information. The mobile terminal (11) comprises memory controller configured to enable access data and features associated with the first and second application already stored in the mobile terminal as a function of the reliability information of the first and second application. The reliability information is a reliability index and the mobile terminal is configured to compare a value of the reliability index of a first application to a value of the reliability index of a second application, the mobile terminal further configured to enable the first application to access at least one of features and data associated with the second application when the value of the reliability index of the second application is one of equal and less than the value of the reliability index of the first application.

A management server 16 provides application programs from a content server 20 in response to requests from a mobile terminal 11 and sends the provided application programs to the mobile terminal 11 with information regarding the reliability of the application programs. After the mobile terminal 11 receives application programs from the management server 16, the mobile terminal 11 manages operations of the application programs which are coordinated with operations of other programs using the information relating to the reliability programs corresponding to the application programs. According to the management of coordinated operations for a number of application programs as indicated above, information security issues may where valuable information can be leaked unexpectedly due to operations of application programs with low reliability is avoided.
