Abstract

The invention relates to: - novel and modified peptides which are based on HIV-regulating Tat and Rev proteins and Nef complementary proteins that are useful for the HIV-1 specific immune response without antagonizing effect on cytotoxic T-cell activity, peptide-containing antigens, - vaccines comprising azantigens, - a method for detecting HIV or HIV-specific peptides or proteins-induced antibody test fluid samples.
