The invention relates to a bottle rack system, consisting of one or more hanging modules, each mainly consisting of a mounting plate to which one or more more or less U-shaped brackets are individually mounted on the front, so that a bottle can be mounted on each individual bracket. laid.

The suspended module thus obtained can be suspended individually or with several side by side, either sliding or sliding, on a sensor, for example a rail, or permanently attached to a supporting construction, for instance a wall or a freestanding tripod.

The sensor can consist of a strip or a rail, which is for instance fixed to a wall or is included in or attached to a freestanding tripod.

The advantages of such a construction are the following:

Visibility of the bottles: Because the individual brackets are only connected to the mounting plate at the back of the brackets and are not connected to each other at the front, the bottle is very visible from the front, from all viewing directions and reading the label not hindered. In addition, it is possible to manufacture the mounting plate from a transparent material, for example glass or plastic, so that visibility from the back is hardly hindered, if at all.

Accessibility of the bottles: The free space around the bottle makes it easy to insert and remove from the front of the bottles. In addition, the brackets act as an auxiliary stop during insertion and removal.

Tension: The force exerted by each individual bottle is transmitted within the module to the hanging mounting plate only and absorbed here as a vertical tensile load and a forward tilting moment. For the brackets, it applies that they only bear the uniform load of the bottle that is on it, and do not experience any load from the other brackets that are connected to the mounting plate. As a result, the brackets can be made relatively light. The tensile load transmitted in the mounting plate can be regarded as a relatively favorable load compared to the tilting moment. The tilting moment occurring in the mounting plate, counting from the top fixing point of the mounting plate, is immediately transferred at every subsequent contact point between the mounting plate and its rear support, for example of the wall, and is not guided any further. If the mounting plate is completely in contact with the wall, the moment passed in the mounting plate will therefore be negligible and only the tension at the location of the mounting of the bracket to the mounting plate is dimensioned for the strength.

Flexibility: Because the mounting plate can be slidably suspended at the top, it is possible for the user to group the hanging modules, for example by wine type in the case of a wine rack. In that case, the rail system must provide sufficient space to allow sliding.

Safety: The more or less u-shaped brackets protrude at the front with respect to the mounting plate. If desired, it is possible to make the brackets to the front longer than the full length of the bottle, while this hardly hinders accessibility. This could be useful, for example, to prevent the bottle from being unexpectedly pushed on and off.

Labeling: The U-shaped bracket offers the possibility to attach a label that, for visibility, on \ ·&gt;

During transport, the bottles can be clamped to the brackets, for example using removable tape or 20_ Velcro. In this way, costs can be saved in means of transport and transshipment costs. To optimize the weight of such a system, the mounting plate could be made of a light material, such as, for example, wood or plastic.
