Ac generator with builttin type voltage regulator

PURPOSE:To miniaturize an AC generator by a method wherein a sheetlike assembly fundamental body made in one body with a voltage regulator and a connector is positioned along a cooling fin. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a nearly dish-shaped rear-side end frame 20 is provided with a cooling fin 41 wherein the diode of a rectifying unit is arranged in a state parallel to the flank 21. An assembly 12 in which a voltage regulator 10 constituted in the circular arc form and a connector 11 is arranged in one body between the flank 21 and the cooling fin 41 is fixed to the end frame by bolts 42 closing with the cooling fin 41 to be built-in within the generator. On the rear side of the connector 11 a brush holder 3 for holding a brush is arranged.
