Electronic watch incorporating receiver

PURPOSE:To increase the reception sensitivity by securing a larger cross-sectional area at the edge part of the ferrite antenna than the center part and thus giving the induction of a high-level voltage to the antenna coil. CONSTITUTION:Ferrite antenna 10 features the very large effect to catch the electric waves at the both edge parts, and the cross-sectional area is set larger at the edge part than the center part of the antenna. Thus the amount of lines of magnetic force 12 and 13 going toward the cross section is increased, and furthermore the amount of magnetic fields 14 and 15 is increased as well. As a result, a high-level voltage is induced at antenna coil 11, thus increasing the reception sensitivity.
