Regarding computer systems and methods for determining. More specifically, the present invention Is to maximize and increase the profits that can be obtained from individual shipping companies Computer system for creating models that represent travel requirements for an organization Regarding the system and method. In general, large organizations have a large amount of travel services from many passenger carriers. Tend to buy. For example, headquarters office, several widely distributed branch offices In large companies with offices, manufacturing plants, etc., their employees and their employees are routed through the usual business channels. And / or representatives are expected to travel between them and elsewhere Is done. One such organization will receive a discount on the use of passenger carriers. Or more, usually have a special bounty agreement with a passenger carrier is there. Nevertheless, for several reasons, with a particular bounty agreement, that organization May actually cost more than you save. For example, that By using a specific passenger carrier for travel between points A and B To use a specific bounty agreement Can be done. However, it caused the organization to have this passenger carrier at those two points. You have to come across the fact that you don't provide fast and / or frequent services in between May have to be. In other cases, this passenger carrier is another passenger carrier May not offer the additional benefits offered for travel between those two points I. What's more, using one shipping company makes another less expensive choice. The alternatives may be ignored. Without a systematic travel plan, the organization is a must However, it will bear a large additional total travel cost. Therefore, the organization bears To minimize total travel costs, the organization's travel demand, the organization's specific passenger transport Travel incentives agreed with the shipping company, each passenger shipping company between specific travel points Consistency based on the services offered and some other factors It would be extremely advantageous to have a system and method for creating a travel plan with There will be. Outline of the invention The present invention is a travel bird for a plurality of travelers with respect to a plurality of predetermined travel routes. A travel meter that minimizes travel costs for organizations that expect to buy Its purpose is a computer system and method for image determination. Each travel route Includes travel origins and destinations, and multiple passenger carriers. At least The service is provided by one company. The system is the transportation company and A data input device for receiving travel information regarding the route and the data input. A data storage device for storing the travel information received by the device, a processor, and the like. , A data output device is provided. The system is based on the travel information Consists of a function and a set of constraints. The objective function is that the organization makes the plurality of journeys. To purchase a travel trip for the multiple predetermined travel routes for the traveler Represents the travel cost of, and the constraint includes the constraint on the objective function. .. The constraint satisfies the constraint and minimizes the travel cost of the organization. Therefore, it is given to the objective function to determine the solution of the objective function. That Later, the data output device creates a report representing the solution. The travel information is for each route and for each transport that provides services to that route. Travel cost information about shipping companies, projected demand for each route (projected hoax) Demand and supply information related to the projected supply of To the information, and the predetermined goals that the organization has for any of the shipping companies It is desirable to include relevant shipping company target information. For each route, that From the travel cost information for each transportation company that provides services to the route, Tables the actual costs of the organization to travel that route using the shipping company The weighted value to be passed is determined. Desirably, the objective function is the travel cost for each route. Including the total of the travel costs for each route, service the route Includes the total travel costs for each shipping company and also services on that route The travel expenses for each shipping company that provides the above will be charged using that shipping company. To the weighted value that represents the actual cost of the organization to travel the route Includes a variable that represents the number of trips to be purchased from the carrier doing. The constraints are preferably information about said supply and supply, and said transport. Derived from the sending company target information. Further, the above-mentioned constraint condition is preferably a route demand constraint clause. Includes conditions, shipping company supply constraints, and shipping company target constraints. The route Demand constraints are purchased from all carriers for each route. Equalize the sum of variables representing the number of trips to be to the projected demand for that route Demand that. The shipping company supply constraints are all for a particular shipping company. The sum of variables that represent the number of trips to be purchased from the carrier for all routes, Require that it be placed within the specified range. The target constraints for each transportation company are the set Require the achievement of the goals that Ori has for a particular transportation company. Desirably, the information is organized in the form of a matrix or table, where The plurality of routes are allotted in the first direction, and the plurality of transportation companies are assigned to the routes. Each Each transport assigned in the second direction and servicing a particular route The sending company is specified by the cell that holds the relevant information. And within the scope will be understood by those skilled in the art. According to the computer system 10 and data source 12 shown in FIG. 1, the organization A travel plan that minimizes travel costs is determined as follows. In advance As shown in step 301 of FIG. 3, the computer system 12 is Obtain the necessary travel information from Tasource 12. The obtained travel information is the main memory 3 4. It can be stored in either the long-term storage device 36 or both. Processor 32 uses this information to create a matrix or table (hereafter, as shown in FIG. 5). It is desirable to construct the lower "table"). As shown in FIG. 4, the travel information includes travel cost information 72 and supply and demand. It includes information 74 and transportation company target information 76. Travel cost information 72 Is a weighted value that represents the actual cost of traveling a particular route using a particular carrier Is used to determine . Information 74 regarding supply and demand is based on the route demand system. It is used to determine the contraction condition 78 and the shipping company supply constraint condition 80. Transport meeting The company target information 76 is the transportation company target constraint condition 8. Used to determine 2. The table of FIG. 5 is composed of each column 64 and each width 66, and each column 64. Holds information that represents a specific travel route, and each rampage 66 is a specific passenger transport association. Holds information that represents the company. Therefore, a particular column 64 and a particular traverse 66 Each slot that intersects with is a specific passenger transport that provides services to a specific travel route. The place where the transportation company actually provides the information representing the company to the route. If so, it is held. As shown in this table, each rampant 66 passenger carrier Identified in the leftmost column, the travel route in each column 64 is in the top traverse Be identified. In the table above, any number of rampants 66, each representing a passenger carrier It can be provided, and any number of columns 64, each representing a certain travel route, are provided. Can be Each transportation company and each travel route included in this table is shown in FIG. So, to the information 30 obtained from the client and / or the travel manager of the organization. Therefore, it is desirable to define it in advance. But such information is a past journey Obtained from the row record database 26 and from other data sources 12 Is possible. In any case, the travel routes shown in this table are the trips of the organization. It is the most frequently used travel route by travelers and the transportation shown in this table. The shipping company provides regular services to the travel route and the organization travels. line It is desirable that the transportation company has a bounty agreement. Once the structure of this table is defined, the computer system 10 will include each travel route and so on. Travel cost information obtained with each transportation company providing services on the route of 7 For each transportation company that provides services to each route using 2, the transportation company To determine a weighted value 68 that represents the actual cost of traveling the route. Each addition The heavy value 68 is preferably expressed using currency units (eg dollars) and Placed in an appropriate frame. As an example, a weighted value of 68 is for a travel company on a route. The actual cost you are charging is C, and the organization has a D% discount. What is being done can be taken into account. Therefore, the weighted value 68 = C * (1-D). The shipping company upgrades the weighted value of 68 (upgrade) Weighted value 68 = C * (1), taking into account the fact that it provides the value U of -D) -U. Furthermore, for the weighted value, all trips related to the route. However, it requires a transfer with a delay due to the transfer of H hours, and the value of time is V. Taking into account that there is, the weighted value 68 = C * (1-D) -U + V * H. The weighted value of 68 affects the cost of traveling a particular route using a particular carrier. It is speculated that all factors can be taken into account. To such a factor Can include stochastic factors. In this way, for each transportation company that provides services to each route, the appropriate data The travel cost information 72 from the data source 12 is the estimated charge of the shipping company, that is. Discounts offered by the shipping company to the organization, the route using the shipping company The shipping company with respect to the additional costs and benefits incurred in connection with the trip and its routes Number of direct and connecting flights available at, expected delays due to connecting flights, Percentage of the total number of flights offered by the shipping company for that route, and Obtained to determine other appropriate travel information, and other factors. The charges that the shipping company is expected to charge for travel on that route are CRS. Obtained from 14 and / or past travel record database 26, and also the season of rates It is desirable that the fluctuation is taken into consideration. The shipping company provides to the organization The discount is determined from the client or organization's discount program database 28. And the incentives offered by the shipping company and its organization have arranged with the shipping company It is desirable that the agreement is taken into consideration. Traveling on that route using the shipping company The additional costs and benefits incurred in connection with the line may be beneficial or detrimental to the traveler. It is desirable to include factors that result in either. For example, as a profit, of the seat There are upgrades or other special services, and the disadvantage is over-baggage charges There is a throat. Direct and connecting flights available to the carrier for that route Can be obtained from CRS14 Is desirable. Using all of the above factors and others, the computer system 10 will support each route. For each transportation company that provides services, use that transportation company to route the route. Determine a weighted value 68 that represents the actual cost of traveling, and display the weighted value 68 in the table of FIG. Place in the appropriate frame as shown. Some frames are blank, but this is relevant The traverse 66 carrier is not servicing the relevant column 64 route Or indicates that the shipping company should not be considered for other reasons. An example of such a reason is that the organization is an employee of the relevant channel. And / or refusing to provide services to the representative by the shipping company There is a case. Each factor considered appropriate as a method for determining each weight value 68 Any of several methods that have been properly considered will be accepted by those skilled in the art. Will be understood. A variable / display number 70 is assigned to each frame (cell) in which the weighted value is arranged. This points to the specific frame and the route represented by that frame. It acts as a variable that represents the number of trips to be purchased from the shipping company represented by the frame. For each path represented by column 64, the computer system 10 Relative capacity (cap) of each transportation company that provides services on that route To determine. This relative acceptability is obtained from CRS14 Relative services that each shipping company provides on its route, determined from the information provided Represents. This relative capacity is also provided by the shipping company to the route. It can be weighted (wcap) according to the type of service provided. For example , PHL-LHR (Heathrow Airport, London, UK) route, this route 5% of the flights to Japan are provided by the shipping company UA, which is in the 85th percentile. The transportation company BA provides the transportation company BA, and the transportation company AA provides 10%. specific The relative capacity of each carrier servicing a route is, for example, The number of flights operated by the transportation company on the route, and all the transportation companies have the same route. Those skilled in the art will be able to easily determine based on the total number of flights operating on the road. Therefore, it will be understood. The information 74 regarding the supply and demand obtained by the computer system 10 includes each route. Determine the projected demand for each shipping company and the projected supply for each shipping company. However, this information can be obtained from multiple data sources 12. Wear. For example, in the past travel record database 26, the organization concerned is PHL-BRU ( Has an average demand of 61 segments for the Brussels, Belgium) route Information indicating that can be stored. Also, the feelings from the client's travel manager According to Bulletin 30, the organization is PHL-MEX (Mexi) for an upcoming event. 48 segments (48) on the Co-Mexico City route It can be clarified that it will generate passenger demand. Each route Passenger demand is based on one of several well-known technologies for demand forecasting It will be understood that it is decidable. For example, in the past, the demand for a certain route It can reflect the actual use of the route and the projected changes. same As such, the demand reflects the projected use based on the expected travel demand. Can be Once the passenger demand for each route is determined, such route demand information is available. , Each route is configured in the table. As a result, as shown in FIG. 5, the route demand Information is found in the bottom ramp. For the route demand information and each transportation company that provides services for a certain route From the relative acceptance capacity determined in the above, it is possible to determine the transportation company supply information. Wear. For example, the transportation company AA in the table of FIG. 5 is the route PHL-SJU (Puel). Has a relative acceptance capacity of 75% with respect to Toriko's San Juan) In addition, the passenger demand for route PHL-SJU is 98, so if other factors are ignored, 98 75% of passenger demand, or about 74 passengers, use the transportation company AA Should be expected. Similarly, the shipping company AA provides the service. The expected number of passengers can also be determined from each of the other routes. transport Total expected passenger numbers for all routes served by Company AA 190 Is expected for shipping company AA, ignoring other factors It represents the supply or target value of 86 for the shipping company. Similarly, other transports in the table For each company, the shipping company supply information can be determined. Optionally, the carrier supply information for a particular carrier is shipped by that organization. Replaced with the shipping company target information 76 that matches the predetermined target that the shipping company has. Can be obtained. For example, the organization has previously taken discounts with shipping company UA. It has been decided, where the organization uses the shipping company UA in the prescribed minimum amount. Only may be able to get a discount. Transport in such cases As shown in the table of FIG. 5, the company target information 76 is on the far right of the rampant 66 of the transportation company UA. Represented as a $ 100,000 hurdle 84 in the column. Optionally, the transport company target information 76 will focus on a transport company, or Or represent the organization's goals to reduce the weight of use by another carrier You can also do it. In such cases, to represent the expected supply of the shipping company The initially determined carrier supply or target value 86 represents the organization's target. As such, it may be adjusted up and down to correspond to the relevant shipping companies in the table in Figure 5. Inserted as the carrier supply or target value 86 in the rightmost column of traverse 66 To. The carrier's supply or target value of 86, respectively, is what the organization wants to achieve. It will be understood that it is freely adjustable depending on the maximum or minimum value. This As shown in the table of FIG. The rightmost column holds the values for supply and target, and the values for supply are Purchased from that carrier for all routes, each for a particular carrier Whether the sum of variables representing the number of trips to enter is above or below the value for that supply Each of the values for the goal is specific to the organization. We demand that the transportation companies achieve their goals. Demand and Supply information 74 and goal information 76 have already achieved goals and supplies It will be understood that it can be updated accordingly. When the table shown in FIG. 5 is composed of information 72, 74, and 76, a computer System 12 configures the objective function as shown in step 302 of FIG. .. This objective function is preliminarily used by the plurality of predetermined passenger transportation companies for the organization concerned. Note: For travelers traveling on multiple predetermined travel routes, the organization travels It represents the total travel cost of purchasing a ticket. This objective function is It is desirable to include the total travel costs for each route, where each route is concerned. Travel costs are the travel costs for each shipping company that provides services on that route. Includes the total of. Regarding each transportation company that provides services on that route Regarding the shipping company that provides services on the route to determine travel costs Purchased from the shipping company for the route to the weighted value 68 assigned to the slot Variable 70 representing the number of trips to be taken Is put on. For example, in the table of FIG. 5, 13 frames are filled, so it is composed of this table. The objective function to be calculated is the sum of 13 factors, and each factor is added in a specific frame. It includes the value obtained by multiplying the heavy value by the variable 70 representing the frame. That is, concrete The objective function is ($ 1496 * x1) + ($ 1760 * x2) + ($ 550 * x3) + ($ 3008 * x4) ) + ($ 1558 * x5) + ($ 1730 * x6) + ($ 355 * x7) + ($ 1474 *) x8) + ($ 1804 * x9) + ($ 567 * x10) + ($ 3076 * x11) + ($ 326) * X12) + ($ 1938 * x13) Will be. No travel plan decided will minimize the cost of travel as an organization. Therefore, the constructed objective function should be minimized. so that , The computer system 12 has constraints as shown in step 303 of FIG. Configure the case, meet those constraints, and minimize the travel costs of the organization To determine the solution of the objective function, as shown in step 304 of FIG. These constraints are given to the objective function. Therefore, those constraints are Information about supply and demand determined for the organization and arranged in the table in Figure 5. Must be created from 74 and shipping company target information 76 Must be. In this way, using each value in the bottom row representing the passenger demand of a certain route, the route Demand constraint 78 is configured. For example, column 64 representing a PHL-MEX path In, the route is purchased from each transportation company according to the route demand constraint 78. The sum of variables representing the number of trips to enter, that is, x3 + x10, 48 passenger demands Must be equal to. Five route demand constraints 7 with respect to the table of FIG. 8 is determined as follows. x7 + x12 = 98 (PHL-SJU constraint) x1 + x5 + x8 = 83 (PHL-LHR constraint) x2 + x6 + x9 + x13 = 61 (PHL-BRU constraint) x3 + x10 = 48 (PHL-MEX constraint) x4 + x11 = 44 (PHL-EZE constraint) (EZE stands for Buenos Aires, Argentina) Similarly, in some cases, information about supply and demand 74 or shipping company goals. Transport company supply constraint 8 using each value in the rightmost column representing information 76 0 or the shipping company target constraint 82 is configured for each case. For example, most The $ 150,000 hurdle 84 in the frame corresponding to the rampage 66 of the transport company BA in the right column There is. Therefore, this tissue is the pathway of PHL-LHR and PHL-BRU. Purchased a trip by transportation company BA, a small amount At least $ 150,000 should be traded with the shipping company BA. In the table of FIG. From the hurdle information, the following transportation company target constraint condition 82 is constructed. $ 1600 * x1 + $ 1900 * x2 + $ 625 * x3 + $ 3418 * x4> = $ 100,000 (UA hurdle constraint) $ 1750 * x5 + $ 1938 * x6> = $ 150,000 (BA hurdle constraint) All these $ 1600, $ 1900, $ 625, $ 3418, $ 1750, and $ 1938 values are it Various carriers for travel related to slots x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, and x6 respectively It is assumed to be the actual cost before discount to be charged. Hurdle 84 has been achieved Such pre-discount costs are required to determine if this is the case. Finally, the carrier supplies in the frame corresponding to the ramp 66 of each carrier in the rightmost column. Or for each shipping company that has a target value of 86, the shipping association Company supply constraint 80 and / or shipping company target constraint 82 are configured. Example For example, for the transportation company US in the table of FIG. 5, regarding the supply or target of 17. Since the value 86 to be used is determined in advance, it is transported for the route PHL-SJU. A change that represents the number of trips to buy from the company US The number x12 should be greater than or equal to 17, which is a value of 86 for the carrier's supply or target. To. As a result, the following shipping company supply constraints 80 and / or shipping company goals Constraint 82 is configured. x7 + x8 + x9 + x10 + x11 190 (AA constraint) x12 17 (US constraint) x13 3 (SN constraint) (SN stands for Sabena Airlines) The above shipping company supply constraint 80 and / or the shipping company target constraint 82 Depending on each, the sum of the above variables is greater than or equal to the value 86 for the carrier's supply or target. It is necessary to make the above, but for various reasons for an organization, the above variables You can choose to add up to a value less than 86 for the carrier's supply or target. Should be understood. For example, the organization is provided by a particular shipping company You want to limit the use of the shipping company because the service is considered substandard Can be done. Route demand constraint 78, carrier supply constraint 80, and carrier target constraint When condition 82 is configured, processor 12 is shown in step 304 of FIG. As such, the constraints are given to the objective function to satisfy those constraints. And before minimizing the travel costs of the organization The solution of the objective function can be determined. The table shown in Figure 5 can be implemented as a computer spreadsheet. preferable. The computer system 10 also extracts information from the spreadsheet. Software for constructing the objective function and the set of constraints, Linear programming software for giving the constraints to the objective function and determining the solution And, preferably. This linear programming software extracts the above information It is preferable to include the software for. Linear programming is the best value for maximizing or minimizing a multivariable system. It will be understood that it is a technique for solving by a set. In essence, in linear programming To create the first test travel plan, the travel information and the constraints Therefore, the trip is allocated to the transportation company, and the cost of the first test trip plan is paid. To determine. These trips are then reassigned to create a second test trip plan. The cost of the second test trip plan is determined and the first test trip is determined. Compared to the cost of row planning. The travel expenses according to the travel information and the constraints. The process is repeated until the optimal travel plan that minimizes use is determined. The linear programming software follows a transportation algorithm. It is desirable to determine the above solution. Tigers as understood by those skilled in the art Nspo The rotation algorithm is a two-dimensional universe in which each dimension has multiple elements. It minimizes costs according to constraints on each element of each dimension. The spreadsheet is a "Lotus-123 (" LOTUS-123 ")" type spreadsheet. The linear programming software is Chicago, Illinois. s) "What's", a product of Lindo Systems, Inc. Best (WHAT'S BEST!) More if it includes linear programming software preferable. The solution determined by the linear programming software is shown in FIG. The table is composed of the software of the above, and this table is based on the information obtained above. It is preferable that there is a correspondence between the obtained information and the solution. Can be easily referred to. As shown in FIG. 6, the solution is for each variable 70. Contains the value 88 of the solution of. The solution is also the value for the demand of each route, the value for the supply of each shipping company, each transportation Values for the sending company's goals, and each weighted value 68 (weighted values 68 are "in the table of FIG. 6". May include lower and upper limits 90,92 for (shown as "net costs") desirable. The lower and upper limits 90 and 92 are determined by the linear programming software. Can be determined. Limit 90, 92 for each value while maintaining the determined solution It will be understood that it is possible to coordinate between. But some values are each Lower or upper limit 90, 92 When it changes beyond, the solution, which represents the lowest cost for the organization, changes and becomes new. You will have to decide on a new solution. Processor 12 meets the constraints and minimizes travel costs for the organization. When the solution of the objective function is determined, the computer system 10 determines the solution of the objective function of FIG. It is desirable to create a report representing the solution, as shown in page 305. This created report includes printer 38, disk drive 44, and scanner.
