Description: TECHNICAL FIELD [Detailed description of the invention]
【0001】
[Industrial application field]
The present invention relates to a radiotelephone device, and more particularly to a radiotelephone device that performs intermittent reception of a wireless receiver.
【0002】
[Conventional technology]
Conventionally, there is what is called a cordless telephone device as this kind of wireless telephone device. The cordless telephone handset uses batteries as its power source, and it is desirable that the power consumption be as low as possible. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, when performing intermittent reception, the wireless receiver is operating during the T1 time, and the wireless receiver is stopped during the T2 time to reduce the current consumption.
【0003】
Assuming that the current consumption for the time of T1 is I1 and the current consumption for the time of T2 is I2, the average current consumption is expressed as I1 × T1 / (T1 + T2) + I2 × T2 / (T1 + T2). In general, I2 is sufficiently smaller than I1, so the average current consumption is reduced by making the time of T2 larger than the time of T1.
【0004】
[Problems to be Solved by the Invention]
In the conventional radiotelephone device described above, the time of T2 in FIG. 4 may be lengthened in order to reduce the current consumption. However, by lengthening the T2 time, when receiving an incoming call, the master unit needs to continue to send a signal notifying that there is an incoming call, that is, an incoming call signal for a longer time than the T1 + T2 time. During this time, other wireless telephone devices cannot process incoming or outgoing calls. There is a problem that it is widely used as a cordless telephone device, and when a large number of devices are used within a limited range, incoming and outgoing calls are hindered. On the other hand, by shortening the time of T2, it is possible to shorten the time required to send an incoming call signal from the master device, but there is a problem that the average current consumption of the slave unit increases.
【0005】
[Means for solving problems]
The first wireless telephone device of the present invention has a master unit connected to a telephone line and a slave unit connected to the master unit via a wireless line to make a call, and the time is determined by the clock function of the slave unit. It has a designated means and a slave unit control unit that controls the interval for intermittent reception of the radio so that it is lengthened during the designated time and shortened during the non-designated time.
【0006】
The second radiotelephone device of the present invention has a master unit connected to a telephone line and a slave unit connected to the master unit via a wireless line to make a call, and is designated as a means for designating a time by a clock function. A slave unit including the master unit having a master unit control unit that sends an intermittent time control signal corresponding to the set time, and a slave unit having a slave unit control unit that changes the interval of intermittent reception according to the intermittent time control signal. And have.

[Example]
Next, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a first embodiment of the present invention.
【0008】
In the master unit 1, the telephone circuit 11 in which the telephone line 101 is housed has an incoming call detection function, a selection signal transmission function, and a 2-wire 4-wire conversion function, and the communication of the incoming call information and the selection signal is performed by the telephone circuit control line 104. Perform with the master unit control unit 13. The master unit radio unit 12 is connected to the telephone circuit 11, the receiving signal line 102, and the transmitting signal line 103, and the channel data operation is controlled by the master unit control unit 13 via the master unit radio unit control line 105. ..
【0009】
In the handset 2, the handset radio unit 21 is connected to the handset 24 and the handset 25, and converts an acoustic signal and an electric signal. The slave unit control unit 22 controls the channel data operation and the like via the slave unit radio unit control unit 203. Further, the keyboard 26 is connected to the slave unit control unit 2 and serves as an input means for designating a set time for lengthening the interval for performing intermittent reception. The slave unit control unit 22 obtains the time information from the clock circuit 23, determines whether or not it corresponds to the specified time, and if it is the specified time, lengthens the interval of intermittent reception, and the wireless unit Operate 21. If it is not the specified time, the interval of intermittent reception is shortened to operate the radio unit 21.
【0010】
FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing a second embodiment of the present invention. Compared to FIG. 1, FIG. 2 shows the keyboard 14 and the clock circuit 15 moved from the slave unit 2a side to the master unit 1a. The keyboard 14 is used to perform an operation to specify the time for increasing the interval for intermittent reception, and the master unit control unit 13 obtains the time information from the clock circuit 15 to determine whether or not the time corresponds to the specified time. Judgment is made, and if it is the specified time, an intermittent time control signal is sent to the slave unit 2a so as to lengthen the interval of intermittent reception. If it is not the specified time, an intermittent time control signal is sent to the slave unit 2a to shorten the intermittent reception interval. The intermittent time control signal may be sent at least when it is necessary to change the interval of intermittent reception. The operation as other wireless telephone devices is the same as that of the first embodiment.
【0011】
FIG. 3 is a timing chart showing the operation of the wireless unit of the slave unit of the first and second embodiments. The radio unit is operating during T1 time. When the interval of intermittent reception is short, the time of T2 is stopped, and when the interval of intermittent reception is long, the time of T3 is stopped. However, T2 <T3.
【0012】
By doing so, it is specified that the interval of intermittent reception is shortened during the time when the traffic of the telephone line is large, the possibility of collision when making or receiving a call with another wireless telephone device is reduced, and the traffic of the telephone line is reduced. In a small time zone, the average current consumption of the battery of the slave unit can be reduced and the usage time can be extended by increasing the interval of intermittent reception.
【0013】
[Effect of the invention]
As described above, in the present invention, by lengthening the intermittent reception interval during standby to a specified time, the ratio of the operating time of the radio is reduced, so that the average current consumption of the slave unit is reduced. This has the effect of extending the usage time.
