Single application apparatus for taking and storing blood sample
Abstract
PURPOSE: To decrease environmental pollution or its inverse pollution caused by a sample even when a worker carelessly deals with a sample container by arranging a thin diaphragm at a stable position inside a tube so as to be sealed with the inner wall of the tube. CONSTITUTION: A tube 10 is closed by a stopper 11 in the state of high vacuum and under the stopper 11, a thin diaphragm 16 is tightly fitted to a tube-shaped container 10. This diaphragm has a surrounding reinforced edge part 1 7 extended in diameter direction and applies resistance required for tightly fitting the tube 10 onto the inner wall just enough for providing satisfactory seal and the position stability of the diaphragm at the edge part 17. Thus, even after the stopper 11 is removed, the tube 10 is still closed by the diaphragm 16 and the diaphragm has a small needle hole generated by an injection needle 12 at its center but even when the tube is handled without ordinary attention, the leak of blood contained in the tube is effectively prevented.

[Detailed Description of the Invention]
Various devices for meaning a medicalization study test and analysis and collecting a blood sample especially, are known, and it is used. Such most fundamental conventional device collects the blood of a vein with a standard injector, and then moves blood to a test tube or other suitable containers. The hope to the prevention of contamination of a sample by environment and prevention of contamination of the worker by a sample has made the device for losing such cause vine contamination develop. The publicly known device by which it is evaluated from a viewpoint operated by the worker in the minimum danger is a suction type collection tube. This tube comprises the glass with which the end was closed and the lid of hermetic rubber was formed in that mouth, or the tube made from a plastic. A high vacuum (it continues for a long time) is generated in a tube, and the chemical substance of a few nose is placed into a tube if needed. These chemical substances act so that it may hope that the solidification of blood is prevented, for example or separation of the serum from a cell component is accelerated to a blood sample. A suction type tube is used in combination with 2 tip hypodermic injection needle. It performs it being used for one tip giving a patient an intravenous injection, and other tips being inserted in the stopper of a suction type tube, punching a stopper, and pouring in blood in a tube. After a blood sample is collected and a hypodermic needle is removed by a vein and the stopper, the sample on biology is stored in a tube, where the hermetic nature of a pack is given about transportation of a sample, centrifugal force, etc. so that it may be "safety." Although this device is completely satisfactory about the collection of a blood sample, and handling of a container with a stopper, when a worker has to remove a stopper to To get closer at the sample in a tube, an inconvenient point appears. Removal of a stopper is required, when putting on automatic or semiautomatic machinery so that it may begin to gain in a tube the amount of measurement of the blood which a tube should analyze, for example. If the mouth of a tube has a size equal to a diameter without a stopper, the mistake in a certain handling will make a content leak, and will expose a worker to the danger of infection. contamination to environment according to a sample even when a worker deals with a sample container without special cautions in the present invention or it deals with it carelessly which may take place, or its reverse contamination -- to some extent -- until -- it is made to decrease substantially Therefore, it is losing the above-mentioned problem which a suction type tube and a blood collection device using a cap in which punching is possible had. It has a hard tube with an airtight stopper which the present invention is closed in one end in a single using device which collects and stores blood, and is punched by the 1st tip of a hypodermic needle in the other end for this object, and the 2nd tip of a hypodermic needle is constituted so that it may be used for an intravenous injection. A diagram plum of thin thickness is arranged in a stable position, and a device constituting so that the 1st tip of a hypodermic needle may pass a stopper along an after-punching diaphragm is provided so that a seal may be carried out to an inner wall of a tube within the above-mentioned tube. Next, the present invention is explained with reference to drawings. Reference of Drawing 1 will show the device which this Drawing 1 collects the blood sample which comprises test tube 10 closed by stopper 11 made from rubber, an elastomer, or other suitable materials, and it stores, it must be what must be able to be inserted in the mouth of test tube 10, and can be punched by one of the tips of hypodermic needle 12 so that stopper 11 may give a hermetic seal -- in addition, the tip is shown by reference number 13. Drawing 1 which must be what was suitable for an intravenous injection with the usual art used for other tips 14 of hypodermic needle 12 collecting a blood sample shows grip portion 15 again. Grip portion 15 can slide on an outer wall top of tube 10, and it guides hypodermic needle 12 fixed to a grip portion so that stopper 11 may be punched correctly, and it works as a grip for an intravenous injection. It states until now, and for a person skilled in the art, it is a well-known thing that it is A, and it is the same. [ of the method of an operation of a device ] An abstract will close tube 10 with stopper 11 in the state of a remarkable high vacuum. As a result of hermetic nature, it continues during the quite long period of several years of order of a vacuum. Hypodermic needle 12 is used for an intravenous injection after separation from tube 10, a container is brought about at about 13 tip of the hypodermic needle pressed through stopper 11 after that, and a device comes to take the shape shown in Drawing 1. The vacuum of tube 10 enables quantity of the hope of blood to go into a tube. Tip 13 of a hypodermic needle can support the temporary protector destroyed by stopper 11 by insertion at the above-mentioned tip, in order to prevent blood from being revealed from the above-mentioned tip 13 before punching stopper 11. According to the present invention, it is closed and The carried out of the thin diaphragm 16 to tube-like container 10 in stopper's 11 lower part. As a result of thin thickness, this diaphragm has low resistance to distortion of a transverse direction, and is this diaphragm, some preferably it has circumference reinforcement edge 17 extended by the diametral direction, and the inner wall of tube 10 is received as edge 17 is enough to acquire the satisfying seal and the satisfying position stability of a diaphragm which are also the objects of the present invention -- it is closed and required resistance is given [ The ]. The position of the lengthwise direction of diaphragm 16 in tube 10 where a diaphragm must not be displaced by the usual stress which a tube receives, especially centrifugal force should be the distance of the minimum [ spittle / A 1-]. The one reason exists by a slight lack which prevents a substantial reduction of the effective capacity of a tube. Tip 13 of a hypodermic needle must be long enough so that diaphragm 16 may be penetrated after punching stopper 11. The device with which diaphragm 16 fitted in is adopted by the present invention, Also after removing stopper 11, tube 10 is closed by diaphragm 16 the very thing, and it is a diaphragm, Although it may have in the center small Needle hole which arose with hypodermic needle 12 which passed along the diaphragm, even if a tube is treated without the usual cautions, leakage of the blood contained in a tube will be prevented effectively. Under these states where a content is safe, tube 10 can be dealt with without the substantial danger of disclosure, and can be placed into a blood sample processing unit. A diaphragm can be punched by the hypodermic needle used with the automatic contrivance or the semiautomatic device which takes out metrically the quantity of the blood sent to analysis for the thin thickness of a diaphragm. Stopper's 11 shape can be changed to such a stopper's conventional shape so that it may be suitable for the diaphragm given by the present invention. Drawing 2 shows stopper 11 for which internal extension 20 which forms the channel shape structure projected so that diaphragm]6 may be approached or contacted was prepared. The space between stopper 11 and diaphragm 16 decreases in number substantially in this way, and further, consistency of the hypodermic needle is improved so that tip 13 of a hypodermic needle may be shown by extension 20 toward the center of a diaphragm. This structure is effective especially when consistency of a hypodermic needle is not guaranteed depending on other guide elements of the type shown in Drawing 1 which has the shape of grip 15. Make it easy to position diaphragm 16 correctly inside tube 10 by forming a sheet (seat) in the inner wall of tube 10. Drawing 3 shows two annular projections 21 and 22 formed in the inner wall of tube 10, and circumference edge 17 of diaphragm 16 is inserted among these annular projections. Exact positioning is locked firmly there and obtained with the annular sheet of arbitrary kinds [ like ] so that edge 17 of a diaphragm may be arranged, for example, it may not be displaced by usual stress like the centrifugal force of a tube, of course. Especially Drawing 3 shows diaphragm 16 which has small Needle hole 18 formed beforehand in the center. Irrespective of the specific shape of the device of the present invention, this employable Needle hole works so that it may prevent that pressure difference arises between the field of the tube in which the boundary was determined by the diaphragm holding the sample of blood, and the field of the tube between diaphragm 16 and stopper 11. The free passage given by Needle hole prevents the transitional pressure difference which may arise between two fields of the above-mentioned of a tube, when stopper 11 is removed. This is because a stopper acts like a piston which transitional negative pressure produces at the time of removal while a stopper goes up. Needle hole 18 made it easy that tip 13 of a hypodermic needle passed along a diaphragm, and has restricted that a diaphragm splits. A needlelike narrow gauge tube (used with the analysis device which picks out blood from a tube metrically for analysis) can make the inside of tube 10 let this Needle hole pass easily again. In order to attain the function advantageously, Needle hole 18 has a remarkable small diameter [ like ] which is an order of a 1-mm half. Therefore, existence of Needle hole does not endanger substantially the safety of the container to contamination of both a sample and environment after removal of stopper 11. The diaphragm by which handling is arranged in the tube of the present invention in addition to decreasing the danger of careless leakage of the fluid on biology remarkably more safely protects the above-mentioned fluid from contamination by environment. Therefore, the possibility of such contamination decreases remarkably and it is after removal of stopper 11, In order to take out the quantity of the sample which should be sent for analysis, an interaction with the atmosphere like evaporation of the water contained in the fluid on biology when the tube is carrying out time is prevented, or it decreases substantially. This evaporation may become remarkable when maintained by the temperature environment which the container tube adjusted by the temperature which is not low.
