[Detailed Description of the Invention]
[Industrial Application] The present invention relates to the metal base by which coil coating was carried out, and more particularly relates to the metal base which coil coating is carried out with organicity or an inorganic surfacing compound, and makes the form of the external body panel of a car.
[Description of the Prior Art] O of a car, E, M (Original Equipment Manuraeturer) In industry, it is recognized widely that vehicles, such as a car, sell by appearance or a style. When purchasing a vehicle, appearance and a style are important for consumers to the same extent as the feature of other vehicles like safety, performance, and fuel consumption. It is a result of one paint of the appearance of a car or the most important feature of a style. It came to use finish of very attractive A 1 Itech like the base coat / transparent topcoat coat which consists of a thin inner base coat containing O, E, M, and Is pigment and thick transparent Outtau Tub Coat by the paint of a car, or improvement of paint. The depth, gloss, distinctiveness, the degree of color, endurance, etc. have been improved by finish of these A \ Itech. The fact that about 40~50% of the cost which assembles a car is the cost of a paint and a coating method shows appearance and the importance of the coating method for corrosion-resistant both. A painting process occupies about 40% of the floor area in the assembly plant of O, E, and M,, and is - To. In the auto industry, they are 0.E and M about a painting process. To move out of an assembly plant is required. Many reasons it is not preferred establishing a painting process in O, E, M, and a plant exist. In the first place, the present 0.E, M, and a painting process are very inefficient first. It is thought that about 50% of the paint is wasted as superfluous spraying in a painting process. It is required in order to catch superfluous spraying which requires high cost climate control in the Inuyama Ri. The overhead cost of O, E, and M, increases considerably by the paint cost of superfluous spraying wasted, and cost required for climate control. While O, E, M, and an assembly plant are plants of a mechanical assembly process substantially the second, a painting process is a physicochemical process substantially. The efficiency of an assembly process improves greatly by moving a painting process out of an assembly plant. It is known that third dust and particles will have a bad influence on paint in the point of appearance and completeness. 0 Since the feature of *E, M, and an assembly plant is a mechanical assembly plant which requires the large equipment opened wide, it is difficult to control the environment of a plant and to eliminate dust and particles completely. It is necessary to perform within the environment by which the painting process was controlled so that a painting process was performed in the limited field provided with the present heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and filtration equipment, or a climate control device. The environmental problems like Above are O, E, and M about a painting process. Furthermore it moves out of an assembly plant, they are other reasons for one. A lot of volatile organic compounds (VOC) are discharged into the internal and external environment of O, E, M, and an assembly plant in typical O, E, M, a painting process, or a curing process. A lot of scrap wood is generated by a painting process with the excretions of a volatile organic compound. This scrap wood spends remarkable cost, follows to various regulations strictly and must be discarded. A car manufacturer paints the body in fields other than O, E, M, and an assembly plant, and it likes conveying it to an assembly plant. Although it was possible to have painted the body in fields other than the production equipment theoretically, the former was impossible at that which is easy to spoil a result (the most arises during transportation). Other one problem that 0.EoM and an assembly plant are faced in addition to various problems in the painting process performed in an assembly plant is a problem of paint of a plastic body. There is a tendency converted into the vehicle which has a body made from a plastic from carbon steel in the auto industry. A plastic component is difficult to originate in the character (a paint does not adhere easily on the surface of a plastic) of itself, and to paint. the attack and degradation by the solvent contained in the paint for cars in a plastic -- Acceptance -- I am easy . The plastic is typically sensitive to heat and needs the paint hardened at low temperature. However, the paint hardened at low temperature does not necessarily have the optimal paintwork like endurance, gloss, and solvent-proof nature. It is difficult to originate in a peculiar surface distortion and defect which exist in the fabricated body part article, and to attain an attractive result of the quality of car accessories in the body part article made from a plastic. A primer, and Bligh Maher / topcoat must be used to a plastic component in order to amend a surface defect, and to cover not only corrosion resistance but a surface defect. In addition to the body made from a plastic, other alternate material like a cellulose material, ceramic material, and other usable materials is taken into consideration by the body of the car. The trial which moves a painting process out of an assembly plant has already been performed. The method of painting a flat steel plate in United States patent Section 2,331.No. 546 in the paints for cars which have flexibility is indicated. ' by which Different ming is carried out to the body part article for cars which the painted board does not have with 2 which requires additional finish processing, and may be directly attached to the body of a car. The method of carrying out the preliminary paint of the coil-like (it means being wound in the shape of roll) metal aluminum, carrying out Different ming of it to United States patent Section No. 3,774,428, and forming a surface pattern is indicated, and it is. The article which Different ming was carried out and was painted is used as siding material of a building. In United States patent Section 4,769.No. 100, the method of applying the career film by which preliminary paint was carried out to the body panel of a car is indicated in the metal paints. It has some faults, although this free career film by which preliminary paint was carried out is suitable for being applied on the base which has flexibility. That is, when applying this film to a base, it tends to take in a bubble, and it tends to reflect the defect of upheaval, a hollow, and the surface of the base like the pattern of a fiber reinforced. It is the method which is needed in this technical field in this way of painting the body part article for cars, and it is the method of eliminating the necessity of including a painting process in 0.E, M, and an assembly plant. The painted parts are attached to the chassis of a direct car. In this technical field, the method of attaining an attractive paint result is needed for the surface of the body part article containing various materials other than metal.
[Summary of the Invention] The painted article is indicated. The article of the present invention contains the painted outer metal plywood and a lower layer inner base. As for metal plywood, being formed with the painted coil-like metal is preferred. Plywood has an inside and the external surface. The field of at least 1 side of plywood is painted in at least one kind of paints chosen from the group which consists of a topcoat paint containing base coating, the transparent topcoat paint, and paints containing an inner primer paint and paints. A base has an inside and the external surface and is formed with the resin material etc. which were strengthened with the textiles like metal, a solid or polystyrene foam, and glass fiber. The base has the shape which is substantially in agreement with the shape of plywood. The inside of plywood is fixed to the external surface of a base, and the article painted by this is formed. One feature of everything but the present invention is the method of manufacturing the painted article. The method of the present invention cuts and fabricates metal and it includes fixing to the base for structures which has the shape which is substantially in agreement with the shape in it. Metal is painted in at least one kind of paints chosen from the group which consists of the topcoat paint which includes a primer paint and paints in the at least one field, base coating containing paints, and a transparent outer topcoat paint. In one example of the method of the present invention, metal is preferably painted by coil coating in advance of the process which cuts it, and it fabricates and fixes. The painted metal is cut by two or more metal pieces, and the painted metal piece is fabricated by the painted plywood. Plywood has the external surface and an inside. Subsequently, the painted plywood consists of metal, a solid or polystyrene foam, and a textiles strengthening resin material, and is fixed to the shape of plywood, and the base which has the - or the same shape substantially. The base has the external surface and an inside. The inside of the painted plywood is fixed to the external surface of a base, and the article painted by this is formed. In one example of everything but the method of the present invention, metal is cut, is fabricated by desired shape, and before it paints metal in one or the coat layer beyond it, it is fixed to the base of the same shape. In this example, the conventional method of applying the coat layer like spraying to metal is used. One feature of further others of the present invention is that the body of a car contains the painted article which was manufactured by the method of the present invention. The present invention is explained in detail about an example, referring to the figure of attachment in the following.
The [best form for inventing] The coil coating method is well known in the technical field of paint. Coil coating is defined as a method of it having been continuous and having automated which applies a paint to coil-like the charge of a metallic material. Typically, coil coating is started by supplying the charge of a metallic material rewound while rewinding coil-like metal to a coil coating device. The coil coating device consists of two or more rollers, feed mechanisms, and coating devices typically. In the process in which the charge of a metallic material rewound from the coil is supplied through a coil coating device, the charge of a metallic material is cleaned, and a paint is applied in the stage of appropriate Various immersion, and it is hardened or dried. Subsequently, the painted charge of a metallic material is again rolled round, when it comes out from a coil coating device. In the coil coating method of the present invention, coil-like metal is supplied into a coil coating device. The charge of a metallic material is first cleaned in a cleaning section in the mode like the following. That is, a series of Solvent bath or Solvent bath, and solvent vapor degreasing devices let coil-like metal pass that the oil for processing and other quality of a surface contaminant should be removed. A solvent is selected according to the contaminant which should be removed, and the metal processed. Generally trichloroethylene, perchlorethylene, and the same solvent as these are used. Subsequently, preliminary treatment of the coil-like metal is carried out by a suitable surface protection substance. Generally the phosphate treatment agent of zinc or iron is used for iron system metal, and a formless phosphate and formless chromic acid are used about the base made from aluminum. Subsequently, metal is dried by temperature sufficient in the inside of a furnace, and the type target in about 140 degreeC. Subsequently, the dried charge of a metallic material moves to a primer paint application station. A primer paint is optionally applied to charge both [ one or ] sides of a metallic material so that sufficient thickness and the coat which has the thickness of 0*2-s11(0 or 0005 cm)~abbreviation 2. On+II (0 *005 am) typically may be formed. Subsequently, a hardening furnace lets the charge of a metallic material to which the primer paint was applied pass, and a primer paint is calcinated by sufficient temperature for it to be hardened and the type target in the inside of the hardening furnace at the temperature under [ about 1500 ] about 125 bottom (52degreeC) ~ (815degreeC). Subsequently, the charge of a metallic material to which the primer was applied moves to the base coat application section containing paints, after coming out from a hardening furnace. A paints Including Muha skorts paint constituent is applied to the at least 1 side [ of the charge of a coil-like metallic material ], preferably upper surface side using the roller painting method currently generally used in coil coating industry. in this case, from a reservoir, take up a paint and pass a series of rollers which are in a contact state mostly in it -- in order to make it transfer to the charge of a last application roller Yo recoil-like metallic material, two or more rollers are used. it changes -- it is -- a paint may be applied by the spray atomized with air. A paint is applied to film thickness sufficient in the dry state, and a type target until it becomes about 0 and 1 all (0 or 0003 cm)~about 2.511 (0 or 0064 cm) thickness. The optional calcination process which dries base coating in this process may be adopted. If base coating is applied in this way, 1. coil-like metal will move to the following section, and transparent outer topcoat will be applied on a base coat. it changes by using the transfer roller which applies the transparent Oba coat so that outer topcoat may also become film thickness sufficient in the dry state -- it is -- it is applied by using the publicly known spraying method in this technical field. The film thickness of topcoat is about 3.5i11 (0, OO9cm) in the state where it dried typically. If transparent topcoat is applied, coil-like metal will move to a class section. Although coil-like metal is hard in a base coat and transparent topcoat, it stagnates in a furnace at sufficient time and temperature to make it the coat which has flexibility and was provided with endurance. The topcoat in which topcoat includes paints, the inner base coat containing paints, and transparent outer topcoat, They may be any of Like multilayer coating indicated to transparent topcoat or United States patent 4,753,829th, and the 4.615th and 940 4,598,020. Subsequently, the charge of a coil-like metallic material moves to a paint station, and the protective coating material of sufficient thickness is applied by other well-known means on topcoat in roller coating, a doctor knife, curtain coater, the immersing method, spray coating, or this technical field. Although a Protection paint is dried or stiffened and it has a protection function, after using a removable outer coat, the painted charge of a metallic material is again rolled round, when it comes out from a coil coating device, and is removed from a coil coating device. The painted charge of a metallic material may be supplied to the following process, without being rolled round again. In the following process, the charge of a metallic material is rewound and is cut by the metal piece of sufficient size to form specific-shaped plywood and shape. In this case, "plywood" means the metal article which has the predetermined shape manufactured by the method of the present invention, and was painted. a cutting device with cutting publicly known in this technical field like metallic mold cutting, laser cutting, saw cutting, and a high-pressure-water cutting device -- or it is attained by other methods and devices which are generally used in metal painter business. After coil-like metal is cut by the metal piece, a metal piece is inserted in a metallic mold forming device, and it is fabricated in the high temperature which may raise the flexibility of sufficient time to form the plywood of specified shape which has the appearance result of an automobile grade by which the Oba coat was carried out with the protective film which can be removed, pressure, and a paint system. As an example of the Di forming apparatus, it pulls, and it fabricates, and it pulls and there are flexible Different ming like a pull out device, ire Ning, a verson-Vheelon process, and a Marrora process and other publicly known methods in 1 drawing-out fabrication and this technical field. It is fixed to the body part article for cars of the specified shape by which preliminary fabrication was carried out, or plywood is fabricated with a base, preferably a plastic, and the body part article which consists of metal plywood painted by this is formed. Drawing 4 is a flow chart showing one typical process by the present invention. The process of the present invention is started in this flow chart by supplying the continuous belt of charge 115 of a coil-like metallic material into coil coating device 180 through feed unit 120. Preliminary treatment of the charge 115 of a coil-like metallic material is carried out in the usual preliminary treatment agent like a phosphate treatment solution in the inside of preliminary treatment device 125. Subsequently, charge 115 of a metallic material by which preliminary treatment was carried out in this way moves to primer application device 135, and a primer paint is applied. Charge 115 of a metallic material to which the primer paint was applied moves to furnace 140, and a primer paint is hardened or dried. Charge 115 of a metallic material which the primer paint was applied and was dried moves to coating device 145, and a topcoat coat is applied on an optional primer coat. As for a topcoat coat, it is preferred to consist of an inner base coat coat containing paints and a transparent outer topcoat coat applied on the base coat coat. Subsequently, charge 115 of a metallic material to which the topcoat coat was applied moves to furnace 150, and a base coat coat and a transparent outer topcoat coat are hardened. Charge 115 of a metallic material to which the topcoat coat was applied is optionally moved to protection coat application device 115, and the protection coat in which optional removal is possible is applied to charge 115 of a metallic material to which the topcoat coat was applied. Subsequently, charge 115 of a metallic material is moved to furnace 160, and charge 165 of a coil-like metallic material by which hardened or dried and the protection coat was painted is formed. It is moved to take-up motion 170, and metal 165 is rolled round by the device. Painted charge 165 of a coil-like metallic material is moved to rewinding feed unit 175. In the next process of this process, rewound painted charge 165 of a metallic material is supplied to cutting device 180, and is cut by painted blank 185. Blank 185 is supplied into the Di forming apparatus 190, and is fabricated by painted plywood 195. Subsequently, the painted plywood is fixed to the base for structures, and, thereby, the painted last structure is formed. One example of the plywood of the present invention fixed to the base for structures is illustrated in Drawing 2. Structure 4 * is illustrated in the state where it has been arranged between female-die other half 1o of the Di forming apparatus, and male type other half 20. Structure 4o consists of outer plywood 6o and inner base 5o which were painted. It is being fixed to plywood 60 and inner base 50 has the same shape as plywood 6o. A part of section of structure 4o is illustrated as an expansion part sectional view in Drawing 3. Structure 4o contains lower layer base 50 joined to metal plywood 6o and the plywood in Drawing 3. Plywood 60 contains metal base 70 which has upper surface 72 and inside 68. Optional primer coat 80 is formed in upper surface 72 of a metal base. Base coat coat 90 containing paints has covered primer coat 80. Transparent topcoat coat 100 is formed on base coat coat 90, and optional protection coat 110 is formed on the topcoat coat. It has the same shape as plywood 60 substantially, and is fixed to inside 68 of plywood 60, and base 50 forms structure 40 painted by this. Bases 50 are adhesion, conclusion, high temperature fusion adhesion, and ye+cr. It may be fixed to plywood 60 by some methods like a (registered trademark), a rivet stop, and a staple stop. Drawing 1 shows the body of one typical car in which at least one copy was formed in the plywood structure of the present invention. The section which meets line 3-3 which penetrates a door panel shows the details of the door panel of plywood, and is illustrated in detail in Drawing 3. The body structure of a car may be equipped with the plywood panel structure object of the present invention by the well-known method in the usual adhesion, high temperature fusion adhesion, a rivet stop, the Sutee Bull stop, Velcro (registered trademark), a bolt and Nut or other same fastening devices, and the Like this technical field stripped in To. The primer paint constituent of the present invention is based on the film formation polymer system made of resin like an epoxy resin, polyester resin, polyurethane resin, an acrylic resin, and urea resin. The primer paint contains sufficient quantity of a crosslinking agent, paints, and the usual additive. Crosslinking agents are melamine, amine, urea, Carboxy, urethane, etc. Generally paints may be used according to the end use containing the filler like a titanium dioxide, phthalocyanine, Quinacridone, iron oxide, carbon black, clay, and talc. There are the interface slippage improvement agent and various wax for adjusting the acid catalyst like sulfonic acid or its salt, silicon mobility control additive, surface slippage, and appearance-proof aggravation nature as conventional additive. The useful film formation base-coating constituent contains other additive generally typically contained in the paint constituent in film formation polymer, the paints, the crosslinking agent, and this technical field made of resin in operation of the present invention. There are epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, acrylics, fluoropolymer, etc. as a film formation polymer system. As paints, there are a titanium dioxide, phthalocyanine, lamp black, iron oxide, Quinacridone, a piece of aluminum, mica, Perylene, imidazole, etc. There are melamine, amine, urethane, Carboxy resin, etc. as a crosslinking agent used typically. As additive, there are various acid and salt, a silicon mobility control substance, fumed Silka, and an ultraviolet absorption substance (for example, Tlnuv1n328 Benzathri azole derivative). Although the transparent topcoat paint constituent is the same as a base-coating constituent except for the point which does not contain paints, as long as a topcoat paint constituent is transparent, a little paints may be added. The topcoat paint containing paints may be used instead of base coating containing paints / transparent topcoat paint system. The protective coating material constituent in which useful removal is possible contains acrylics, vinyl, urethane, etc. in the method of the present invention. It is plasticized and these constituents have thermoplasticity typically. A protection coat may be removed by merely stripping off a protection coat only from the painted plywood. Or a protection coat may be removed by dissolving it in the mixture of amine and water.
