Systems and methods for interactive program guides with personal video recording features

The present invention relates to an interactive television program guide (IPG) system and a personal video recorder (PVR) system, and particularly to an enhanced PVR-IPG function.

Today, interactive television systems, such as interactive television program guide systems, are widely available to the general public. An interactive TV program guide system allows users to tune channels to programs, services that allow users to set pair rental locks, and allows users to record programs.
