The present invention relates to a door mirror having a built-in lamp.
A lamp is built in the door mirror, and a technique is known in which the lamp illuminates the lower side surface of the vehicle door (see Patent Documents 1 to 4). A filament that emits light is used for the lamp, and the life of the filament itself is usually about several hundred to 1000 hours, and the lamp that has reached the end of its life causes non-lighting due to the filament running out. It is expected that the lamp will reach the end of its life during the long-term vehicle use period, in which case the lamp needs to be replaced. In particular, the life of the lamp tends to be shortened due to vibration and impact caused by running the vehicle, and the need for lamp replacement is high.

However, in the case of a conventional door mirror, the lamp is incorporated in the back of the door mirror body, and it is difficult to find the lamp itself when replacing the lamp. Further, when the lamp is replaced, the inside of the door mirror body must be disassembled, which makes the replacement work time-consuming.

An object of the present invention is to provide a door mirror in which the lamp can be easily replaced.

The present invention is a door mirror fixed to a vehicle door and having a built-in lamp, a door mirror body fixed to the door and having an opening, a removable mirror portion mounted so as to close the opening, and a door mirror. A lamp housing provided in the body, a lamp window provided in the door mirror body to emit lamp light, a lamp mounting opening formed on the mirror portion side of the lamp housing and exposed on the mirror portion side, and the like. It is attached to the rear of the lamp and has a lamp socket that can be attached to and detached from the lamp housing.A reflector is provided in the upper part of the lamp housing to reflect the light emitted from the lamp downward, and the lamp window is provided in the lower part of the lamp housing. The front end of the lamp socket has a lamp insertion slot into which a lamp can be mounted, and the rear end of the lamp socket is exposed from the lamp mounting opening and protrudes from the lamp housing toward the mirror portion. It is a feature.

According to the door mirror of the present invention, a lamp is built in, and the light of the lamp is emitted from the lamp window to illuminate the lower side surface of the door of the vehicle when riding. The rear end of the lamp socket is exposed from the lamp mounting opening and protrudes from the lamp housing toward the mirror portion. Therefore, when replacing the lamp, the lamp socket can be easily found by simply removing the mirror portion, and the lamp can be easily pulled out to the operator side together with the lamp socket. Further, even when the lamp is mounted, since the lamp mounting opening is exposed on the mirror portion side, the visibility of the lamp mounting opening is good, and a door mirror with extremely good lamp replacement workability is realized. Furthermore, since the disassembly and reassembly required for lamp replacement is minimal, it is unlikely that parts other than the one to be replaced will be damaged during disassembly or reassembly, or that the external shape will change after reassembly. .. Further, since the lamp can be easily replaced, for example, a lamp having a high luminous intensity can be easily selected, and the range of lamp selection is widened.

Further, a partition plate arranged between the mirror portion and the lamp housing and a socket viewing window formed in the partition plate and through which the lamp socket can be inserted are further provided, and the socket viewing window is the rear end of the lamp socket. It is preferable that at least two fingers for picking and removing the portion with fingers are formed in a size that can be inserted. Even if the door mirror has a partition plate, the lamp socket can be easily seen, the rear end of the lamp socket can be easily picked up with a finger and pulled out, and the lamp can be easily replaced.

Further, the lamp housing is formed with a tubular portion having an opening for mounting a lamp, the lamp socket is formed with a flange portion that covers the tubular portion from the outside, and the lamp socket has an inner surface of the flange portion and an outer surface of the tubular portion. It is preferable that the lamp housing is attached to the lamp housing by uneven fitting with the lamp housing. Since the lamp socket is attached to the lamp housing by uneven fitting between the inner surface of the flange portion and the outer surface of the tubular portion, it can be attached to and detached from the lamp housing, and for example, it is not necessary to hold the lamp socket by a spring. , It is not necessary to consider the decrease in holding power. Further, since the flange portion covers the cylinder portion from the outside, it is possible to prevent water from entering the lamp housing through the lamp mounting opening.

According to the present invention, the lamp built in the door mirror can be easily replaced.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the door mirror according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the door mirror 1 is fixed to the door 5 of the vehicle 3 and includes a resin door mirror body 7. This cup-shaped door mirror body 7 is fixed to the door 5 and fitted into a casing 9 having an opening 9a (see FIG. 4) open toward the rear side of the vehicle 3 and an opening 9a of the casing 9. It is composed of a cup-shaped partition plate 13 fixed to the door.

The lamp 35 is inserted through the opening 33c of the tubular portion 33b, and the lamp socket 37 mounted on the rear portion of the lamp 35 is attached to the tubular portion 33b. The lamp may be an LED or a fluorescent tube other than what is commonly called a bulb.
As shown in FIGS. 5 to 8, a filament is provided in the lamp body 35a of the lamp 35, a wedge base 35b is provided at the rear end of the lamp body 35a, and the wedge base 35b is provided with the wedge base 35b. A pair of energizing terminals 35d are exposed. The lamp socket 37 made of an electrically insulating resin has a bottomed cylindrical socket body portion 37a and a flange portion 37h. An insertion port 37b into which the wedge base portion 35b is inserted is formed at the tip of the socket main body 37a, and four leaf spring terminals 37c are fixed in the socket main body 37a. The lamp 35 is fixed to the lamp socket 37 by sandwiching the wedge base portion 35b with the leaf spring terminal 37c, and can be energized by contacting the energizing terminal 35d with the leaf spring terminal 37c.
The flange portion 37h provided on the socket main body portion 37a is provided with a flange portion 37e protruding laterally and an annular skirt portion 37f protruding in the pipe axis direction at the outer peripheral end of the flange portion 37e. An annular protrusion 37g is formed inside the skirt portion 37f. On the other hand, on the outer surface of the tubular portion 33b, an annular groove portion 33d into which the protrusion 37g of the skirt portion 37f is fitted is formed.
Further, the flange portion 37h formed by the flange portion 37e and the skirt portion 37f covers the outside of the tubular portion 33b, and the lamp socket 37 has a protrusion 37g on the inner surface 37i of the flange portion 37h and a groove portion 33d on the outer surface 33f of the tubular portion 33b. It is detachably attached to the lamp housing 33 by the uneven fitting with the lamp housing 33. With the lamp socket 37 attached to the lamp housing 33, the rear end portion 37j of the lamp socket 37 projects from the tubular portion 33b toward the holder / mirror assembly 15. The tip of the socket main body 37a is provided with a claw portion 37k for preventing the socket from coming off and an annular seal protrusion 37m pressed against the inner surface of the tubular portion 33b. The connection cord 37n crimped and fixed to the leaf spring terminal 37c is exposed from the rear end portion 37j of the lamp socket 37.
As shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 8, the partition plate 13 arranged between the lamp housing 33 and the holder / mirror assembly 15 is connected to the opening 19 of the partition plate 13 and is connected to the lamp socket 37. A socket viewing window 39 is separately formed to allow the insertion of the socket. The socket viewing window 39 is formed in a size that exposes substantially the entire front wall 33a of the lamp housing 33, and exposes the tubular portion 33b (see FIG. 2) when the lamp socket 37 is not attached. Further, the socket viewing window 39 has a size sufficient to pinch the rear end portion 37j of the lamp socket 37 with a finger, and is formed in a size capable of inserting two fingers of a general adult hand.
