The present invention relates to a blower-type pest control device that blows air onto a drug holder holding a pest control component and dissipates the pest control component into the air together with the air.
A blower-type pest control device disclosed in Patent Document 1 is known. In this pest control device, a drug holder holding a pest control component, a fan, and a motor are housed in the device main body (chamber), respectively, and the device main body has an intake port and an exhaust port, and the fan is the motor. By rotating the air intake port, air is sucked in, and the air is applied to the drug holder and released into the air from the exhaust port together with the pest control component to dissipate the pest control component into the air.
The above-mentioned pest control device is formed with two exhaust ports facing upward and downward on the main body of the device so that an effective pest control effect can be obtained even when the user wears it and uses it outdoors. When the user wears it and uses it, the air containing the pest control component is discharged upward from the upward exhaust port and downward from the downward exhaust port.
<patcit num="1"><text>Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2001-197856</text></patcit>
<p> In the conventional pest control device described above, an upward exhaust port and a downward exhaust port are formed in the main body of the device, and when the pest control component is attached to the user's waist and used, only the air containing the pest control component is directed upward and downward. By discharging, the pest control component reaches the user's head and feet, but as with this conventional pest control device, simply forming the exhaust port upward and downward is used. It takes time for the pest control component to reach the person's head and feet, and the pest control cannot be controlled from the initial stage of use. In addition, in an open space such as outdoors where the air is used, the discharged air flow may fluctuate due to the flow of wind or the generation of air flow due to the movement of the user, and may not be dissipated in the desired direction, resulting in damage from pests. ..</p><p> The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to make the shape of the exhaust port so that air can be vigorously discharged in a predetermined direction and to attach the air to the user's waist. It is an object of the present invention to provide a blower-type pest control device capable of controlling pests from the initial stage of use by allowing the pest control component to reach the user's head and feet in a short time.</p>

As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 3, the drug holder 2, the fan 3, and the motor 4 are housed in the device body 1, and when the fan 3 is rotated by the motor 4, the device body 1 is transmitted from the intake port 5. Air is sucked into the inside, and the air hits the drug holder 2 and is discharged to the outside of the device main body 1 from the first exhaust port 6 and the second exhaust port 7 together with the pest control component held by the drug holder 2. When the device main body 1 is worn by the user and used, the air containing the pest control component is discharged upward from the first exhaust port 6, and the air containing the pest control component is discharged from the second exhaust port 7. Discharge downward.
As shown in FIG. 2, the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 have a predetermined length in the radial direction communicating the inner inlet 10 facing the fan 3 and the outer outlet 11 opened on the outer surface 1a of the apparatus main body 1. The upstream entrance opening edge 10a of the inner inlet 10 and the upstream exit opening edge 11a of the outer exit 11 are continuous on the upstream guide surface 12, and the downstream entrance opening edge 10b of the inner inlet 10 and the outer exit The downstream exit opening edge 11b of 11 is continuous with the downstream guide surface 13. The upstream guide surface 12 is inclined, preferably arcuate, so that the upstream exit opening edge 11a is on the downstream side of the upstream inlet opening edge 10a. The downstream guide surface 13 is inclined so that the downstream exit opening edge 11b is on the downstream side of the downstream inlet opening edge 10b. It is preferable that the downstream inlet opening edge 10b of the first exhaust port 6 (upstream exhaust port) and the upstream inlet opening edge 10a of the second exhaust port 7 (downstream exhaust port) are close to each other. More preferably, they are in the same position and are the same as shown in the figure. Here, the upstream side is the upstream side with respect to the rotation direction of the fan 3, and the downstream side is the downstream side with respect to the rotation direction of the fan 3. Further, the inclination is a state in which the inclination is radial with respect to the radial direction. That is, the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 have a hole shape inclined with respect to the fan rotation direction.
Therefore, as the fan 3 rotates, air is vigorously discharged from the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 as shown by arrows a and b. Therefore, when the device body 1 is attached to the user's waist and used, the air containing the pest control component is vigorously discharged toward the user's head and feet, and the pest control component is short on the head and feet. As time is reached, pests can be controlled from the beginning of use.
Next, the specific shape of each member will be described. The device main body 1 has a fan accommodating chamber 22, a drug accommodating chamber 23, and a motor accommodating chamber 24 by detachably attaching a cover portion 21 to the main body portion 20. The fan accommodating chamber 22 is circular, and a fan 3 is rotatably provided, and first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 (inner inlet 10) are opened on the circular outer peripheral surface 22a of the fan accommodating chamber 22, respectively. .. The drug storage chamber 23 communicates with the fan storage chamber 22 and faces the cover portion 21, and an intake port 5 is formed in the cover portion 21. The motor accommodating chamber 24 opens to the back surface 20a of the main body 20 and is separated from the fan accommodating chamber 22, and the output shaft 4a of the motor 4 projects from the hole 25 into the fan accommodating chamber 22 and is connected to the fan 3. There is.
The main body 20 is formed so that the battery accommodating portion 26 does not open into the fan accommodating chamber 22 and does not overlap with the motor accommodating chamber 24 in the thickness direction. For example, a recessed portion continuous with the motor accommodating chamber 24 is formed by opening in the back surface 20a to form a battery accommodating portion 26. The battery 27 is detachably housed in the battery housing portion 26. The motor 4 is driven by this battery 27. As described above, since the battery 27 and the motor 4 do not overlap in the thickness direction of the device body 1, the thickness H of the device body 1 can be reduced. Since the motor accommodating chamber 24 and the battery accommodating portion 26 (recessed portion) are open to the back surface 20a of the main body portion 20, a cap may be provided to close the motor accommodating chamber 24 and the battery accommodating portion 26 (recessed portion).
The device main body 1 (main body 20) is provided with a hook locking portion 28 and a fitting recess 29. As shown in FIG. 1, a hanging jig 30 is attached to the hook locking portion 28, and the hanging jig 30 is locked to a user's belt or the like for use. As shown in FIG. 4, the hanging jig 30 has a hook 31 that locks to the hook locking portion 28 and a fitting portion 32 that fits into the fitting recess 29. Then, as shown by a virtual line in FIG. 1, the fitting portion 32 is fitted into the fitting recess 29, the hook 31 is in contact with a mounting surface such as a table surface, and the device main body 1 is used by leaning against it in an oblique posture. You can also do it. The back surface 20a of the main body 20 can also be placed on the mounting surface for use.
As shown in FIG. 5, the drug holder 2 includes a circular container 40 having an open side surface, a circular drug impregnated body 41 provided in the circular container 40, and a circular container fitted in the circular container 40. The lid 42 is provided, and the circular container 40 and the lid 42 have ventilation portions 40a and 42a. The drug-impregnated body 41 has a disk shape in which a sheet-shaped drug-impregnated body is impregnated with a pest control component. The circular container 40 is fitted and attached to the circular recess 43 formed on the front surface 20b of the main body 20.
As described above, since the drug holder 2 uses the drug impregnated body 41 in which the sheet-shaped drug impregnated body is impregnated with the pest control component, the thickness is thin, thereby reducing the thickness H of the apparatus main body 1. it can.
Next, the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 will be described in detail. In FIG. 2, the distance A between the outer peripheral surface 3a of the fan 3 and the upstream entrance opening edge 10a is preferably in the range of 0.1 mm to 5 mm. The relationship between the distance R between the center 3b of the fan 3 and the upstream entrance opening edge 10a and the distance r between the center 3b of the fan 3 and the upstream exit opening edge 11a is R = 1.05 × r ~ 2.5. × r is preferable. By doing so, the wind generated by the rotation of the fan 3 is efficiently converged in the first and second exhaust ports 6, 7 (that is, the flow path), and the air containing the pest control component without losing too much wind power. Can be discharged vigorously.
That is, it is desirable that the distance A approaches A = 0 as much as possible, but when A <0.1 mm, it becomes difficult to control the accuracy of the components, and the fan 3 interferes with the upstream inlet opening edge 10a. Since it is necessary to manage the members with high accuracy, the cost of management increases. In addition, when A> 5 mm, the wind of fan 3 is not sent into the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7, and it becomes easier to pass through the part of distance A, and the wind circulates in the fan accommodating chamber 22 and wind power. Is lost and efficiency is reduced. Also, when R <1.05 × r, the width of the 1st and 2nd exhaust ports 6 and 7 becomes too narrow, and pressure loss occurs when the wind of the fan 3 passes through the 1st and 2nd exhaust ports 6 and 7. Wake up. In addition, when R> 2.5 × r, the widths of the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 become too wide, and the wind of the fan 3 suddenly expands, causing loss and inefficiency. The widths of the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 are the radial lengths between the inner inlet 10 and the outer outlet 11.
In the above explanation, the same amount of air is discharged by using the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 as the same air flow resistance, and the same amount of pest control component is released to the head and feet of the body. Depending on the place of use, it may be preferable that one of the head and the feet releases a larger amount of pest control component than the other. In this case, the air flow resistance of one of the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7 is made smaller than that of the other so that the air containing a large amount of pest control component is discharged to the outside air, or the third exhaust port is used. Is formed, and the air containing the pest control component may be discharged upward or downward from the third exhaust port.
For example, as shown in FIG. 6, the first, second, and third exhaust ports 6, 7, and 8 are formed at intervals of approximately 120 degrees, and air is blown upward from the first exhaust port 6 as shown by an arrow a. The air is discharged from the second exhaust port 7 downward as shown by the arrow b, and the air is discharged diagonally upward from the third exhaust port 8 as shown by the arrow c. In this way, a large amount of pest control component can be released upward. When a large amount of pest control component is released downward, the air may be discharged diagonally downward from the third exhaust port 8. For example, FIG. 6 is upside down.
In the above explanation, only the 1st and 2nd exhaust ports 6,7 or the 1st, 2nd and 3rd exhaust ports 6,7,8 are provided, but when the device main body 1 is attached to the waist and used, the first and second exhaust ports 6,7,8 are provided. If the pest control component in the lateral direction of the waist is insufficient, an auxiliary exhaust port for exhausting air in the lateral direction of the waist may be formed to exhaust air in all directions including the upward and downward directions. good. For example, as shown in FIG. 7, the auxiliary exhaust ports 9 for right sideways and left sideways are formed. The auxiliary exhaust port 9 has substantially the same shape as the above-mentioned first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7, and its air flow resistance is larger than that of the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7. For example, the opening size in the fan rotation direction is small, the amount of air discharged is smaller than that of the first and second exhaust ports 6 and 7, and the momentum is weak. That is, the dimensions of the upstream side inlet opening edge 10a and the downstream side inlet opening edge 10b in the fan rotation direction, and the dimensions of the upstream side outlet opening edge 11a and the downstream side outlet opening edge 11b in the fan rotation direction are the first and second dimensions. The value of the auxiliary exhaust port 9 is smaller than that of the exhaust ports 6 and 7.
By doing so, as shown by the arrows d and e, the air containing the pest control component is discharged in the right lateral direction and the left lateral direction, so that the pest control component in the lateral direction of the user's waist is sufficient. It can be made into a product, and sufficient pest control ingredients can be released to the head and feet.
The auxiliary exhaust port 9 may be formed on only one of the left and right sides, two or more in the left and right directions, or two on only one of the left and right sides. That is, the number of auxiliary exhaust ports 9 is not limited. The total number of exhaust ports is the two exhaust ports (first and second exhaust ports 6, 7) in the two vertical directions, or the three exhaust ports (first and second) in three locations in the three directions. It is preferable that the number of the third exhaust port 6,7,8) and the auxiliary exhaust port 9 is at most six, and even if the number is more than that, the force of the air in the vertical direction weakens. In addition, the lateral pest control effect of the waist is sufficient with 6 or less.
In order to prevent foreign matter from entering from the first, second, and third exhaust ports 6, 7, 8 and the auxiliary exhaust port 9, a plurality of rectifying plates may be installed at each exhaust port, and the rectifying plate is wind. It is desirable to arrange it horizontally with respect to the flow of the air, and the distance between the straightening vanes is preferably 1 to 10 mm. The cross-sectional shape of the straightening vane should be rectangular, elliptical, water droplet, or other shape that does not resist the flow of wind.
As the pest control component used in the present invention, a volatile agent such as an acaricide, a pest or pest repellent, an insecticide or a pest growth control agent, and a blood-sucking behavior inhibitor is used. When used for the purpose of insecticide, various conventionally used volatilized insecticides can be used, and examples thereof include pyrethroid insecticides, carbamate insecticides, and organophosphorus insecticides. In general, pyrethroid insecticides are preferably used because of their high safety. Furthermore, highly active metoflutrin, transfluthrin, empentrin, and terraresulin, which are effective in trace amounts, are more preferable because the drug-impregnated body can be made thinner and smaller.
Examples of the sheet-shaped drug-impregnated body used in the present invention include highly breathable paper, cloth, woven fabric, non-woven fabric, and net. In addition, considering the stability of the placed state, the sheet-shaped drug-impregnated body may be firmly held by a container or lid, or some parts such as the outer circumference of the sheet-shaped drug-impregnated body may be coated with resin or the like and firmly held. Is desirable. Examples of the material of the container and lid include polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyacetal, nylon, acrylic, ABS, paper, AS, and metal. Furthermore, considering portability, the thickness is 2 to 5 mm and the area is 700 to 3000 mm.2It is preferable to make it thin and small.
Especially, the basis weight of non-woven fabric is 10 ~ 100g / m2Is preferable, 20 to 50 g / m2Is more preferable. The basis weight is 100g / m2If it exceeds, the air resistance of the drug-impregnated body becomes too large, the wind from the fan cannot pass through the drug, and the drug cannot be diffused. On the contrary, the basis weight is 10g / m2If it is lower than that, the amount of the drug that can be held by the drug-impregnated body decreases, the manufacturability deteriorates, and the amount of the drug may be insufficient.
Examples of the fan include a centrifugal fan such as a sirocco fan, a radial fan, and a turbo fan. The fan is preferably rotated at 500 to 4000 rpm, more preferably 700 to 3000 rpm. The diameter of the centrifugal fan is preferably 20 to 100 mm, more preferably 30 to 60 mm. The height is preferably 2 to 50 mm, more preferably 5 to 20 mm. In particular, as a sirocco fan and a radial fan, those having 10 to 50 blades are preferable.
The drive power supply for the fan is alkaline AA battery, alkaline AAA battery, alkaline AA battery, alkaline AA battery, alkaline AA battery, manganese AA battery, manganese AAA battery, manganese AA battery, manganese AA battery. Batteries, manganese AA batteries, square batteries, lithium batteries, lithium button batteries, and other batteries may be used alone or in combination in series and in parallel, or rechargeable secondary batteries may be used. It may be possible to use it with a household power supply (AC100V) by using an AC adapter or the like.
The mechanism for attaching the device main body 1 is not limited to the hanging jig, and a hook, a hole, or a band for passing a belt clip or a strap may be passed through, and a band through hole to be attached to a leg, a waist, an arm, or the like may be used. In addition, the device body 1 can be equipped with a switch that can turn on and off the power, and LEDs, neon lamps, liquid crystals, etc. can be used to indicate that the power is on, or the fan itself can be seen from the outside. The energized state may be determined by rotation. Further, the end time of the battery and the drug holder may be set to be the same, and in that case, the drug holder and the battery may be integrated into a replacement cartridge to improve convenience. On the contrary, when the end points of the battery and the drug holder are not the same, it is desirable to display the end points of the drug holder and the battery separately.
In the above-described embodiment, the outer peripheral portion of the apparatus main body 1 (main body portion 20) constituting the fan accommodating chamber 22 is thickened to form an exhaust port, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, a plurality of guide blades may be provided on the outer peripheral portion of the fan accommodating chamber 22 of the apparatus main body 1 at intervals in the circumferential direction, and an exhaust port may be formed between the guide blades adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction.
The battery accommodating chamber 26 may be formed on a side surface portion of the device main body 1 (main body portion 20).
In the above description, the user is mainly intended for humans, but it can also be used for pets such as dogs and livestock such as cows. In this case, for example, the anterior-posterior direction such as from the head to the tail or from the face to the abdomen or hind legs is the target direction for discharging the pest control component.
