Spatial distribution of radiation absorption or emission - is determined by measured value signals passed through AD converter to operational amplifier (BE161176)
Abstract
The absorption or emission radiation characteristics of a body are measured in a number of directions. The measured values (M1, M2, ... M) are fed to a digital disc register (Sch) incorporating a number of transverse filters. The register is required to have (2n-1) cells, each associated with a number of resistors (R1, R2, ... R2n-1). The outputs of the latter are connected with an operational amplifier (S) which produces modified valves (M1, M2, ... M). All the units are actuated by the same triggering pulse signal t. An analogue-digital converter can be used in advance of the register to transmit the measured valves in digital form to the operational amplifier.
