  1. 1
I/We Claim:1. A piece of seating furniture (1) having a saddle-form seat surface (2), wherein the seat surface (2) is arranged on a saddle support (3), characterized in that the seat surface (2) is mounted between a front saddle member (4) on a front member support (5) and a rear saddle member (6) on a rear member support (7).
  2. 3
The seat surface (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized - in that the covering (8), which forms the seat surface (2), is connected to the front saddle member (4) between a first end (4a) of the front saddle member (4) and a second end (4b) of the front saddle member (4), in particular in a continuous and opening-free manner along a first fastening region (BS4), and - in that the covering (8), which forms the seat surface (2), is connected to the rear saddle member (6) between a first end (6a) of the rear saddle member (6) and a second end (6b) of the rear saddle member (6), in particular in a continuous and opening-free manner along a second fastening region (BS6).
  3. 4
The piece of seating furniture (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the seat surface (2) is designed to be fixed at the saddle members (4, 6) and flexible between the saddle members (4, 6), in particular at the connecting edges (9).
  4. 5
The piece of seating furniture (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the seat surface (2) is mounted in a self-supporting manner between the saddle members (4, 6).
  5. 6
The piece of seating furniture (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the covering (8) is formed by a woven mesh fabric (10).
  6. 9
The piece of seating furniture (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the front saddle member (4) on the front member support (5) and the rear saddle member (6) on the rear member support (7) are designed such that they can be displaced relative to one another, in particular such that the distance (d105) between the two can be changed via a tensioning device (150).
  7. 10
The piece of seating furniture (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the front saddle member (4) and the rear saddle member (6) have, at each of their ends (4a, 4b;6a, 6b), a spiral turn (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d), in which the seat surface (2) is mounted, in particular by winding, wherein, between the saddle members (4, 6), the peripheral region of the seat surface (2) is guided in a wound manner preferably around a covering guide (13).
  8. 11
The piece of seating furniture (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the saddle support (3) is arranged on a rolling framework (14), wherein the rolling framework has, in particular, a front extension arm (15), with a front roller (16), and two rear extension arms (17, 17a), with rear rollers (18, 18a), and an angle a1 of, in particular, greater than 120° is formed between the front extension arm (15) and the rear extension arm (17, 17a).
  9. 12
The piece of seating furniture (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the seat surface (2) is defined at a front portion, by way of the front saddle member (4), with a height (h4) and a width (b4) and at a rear portion, by way of the rear saddle member (6), with a height (h6) and a width (b6), where preferably h4 > h6 and b6 > b4.
  10. 13
The piece of seating furniture (1) as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the progression of the member supports (5, 7), as seen in vertical projection, corresponds essentially to the progression of the extension arms (15, 17, 17a).
