A secure global verification and transfers computer system implementing automated verification and security compliance computer implemented processes via computer software enabled portlets that comprise reusable web implemented software modules that provide access to Web-formatted content, applications, and resources, and processing a real time rate request from a customer, comprising:a customer database storing customer information for customers having a plurality of accounts in different countries;a global customer data computer application electronically receiving the customer information, and storing the customer information in said customer database at a data store;a user interface receiving electronic global transfer instructions from the customer to perform at least one of creating, changing, or deleting the electronic global transfer instructions;a global transfers computer application, implemented by at least one computer, effecting a global transfer from a first account of the customer in a first country having first country specific requirements to a second account of the customer in a second country electronically linked to the first account and having second country specific requirements;and a foreign exchange computer application, implemented by the at least one computer, electronically connecting to a treasury computer system via a treasury application programming interface to receive real time rates for transfers, wherein the foreign exchange computer application interfaces in real-time with a global treasury computer system to process first rates for currencies supported by a global treasury to determine first transfer rates, and wherein the foreign exchange computer application interfaces with a local treasury computer system to process second rates for currencies unsupported by the global treasury to determine second transfer rates;wherein the global customer data computer application is configured to perform an automated linking validation procedure comprising electronically verifying that a first profile associated with the first account in the first country and a second 02883970\5-01 profile associated with the second account in the second country correspond to the same customer information, and generating a linking validation result responsive thereto;and wherein the global transfers computer application is further configured to execute the automatic transfer between the first account in the first country and the second account in the second country responsive to a transfer authorization result using one of the first or second transfer rates and the linking validation result.
  2. 17
A computer implemented method for performing secure global verification and transfers using computer software enabled portlets that comprise reusable web implemented software modules that provide access to Web-formatted content, applications, and resources, and processing a real time rate request from a customer, comprising:electronically receiving customer information, by at least one computer implementing a global customer data computer application;storing the customer information, by the at least one computer implementing the global customer data computer application, in a customer database at a data store for customers having a plurality of accounts with different entities in different countries;receiving, by a user interface, electronic global transfer instructions from the customer to perform at least one of creating, changing, or deleting the electronic global transfer instructions;effecting a global transfer from a first account of the customer in a first country having first country specific requirements to a second account of the customer in a second country electronically linked to the first account and having second country specific requirements;and electronically connecting to a treasury computer system via a treasury application programming interface, by the at least one computer implementing a foreign exchange computer application, to receive real time rates for transfers, and wherein the foreign exchange computer application interfaces in real-time with a global treasury computer system to process first rates for currencies supported by a global treasury to determine first transfer rates, and wherein the foreign exchange computer application interfaces with a local treasury computer system to process second rates for currencies unsupported by the global treasury to determine second transfer rates, wherein the global customer data computer application is configured to perform an automated linking validation procedure comprising electronically verifying that a first profile associated with the first account in the first country and a second 02883970\5-01 profile associated with the second account in the second country correspond to the same customer information, and generating a linking validation result responsive thereto;and wherein the global transfers computer application is further configured to execute the automatic transfer between the first account in the first country and the second account in the second country responsive to a transfer authorization result using one of the first or second transfer rates and the linking validation result.
