16 claims: 5 independent, 11 dependent

  1. 1
CLAIMS:1. A T-cell epitope composition comprising one or more isolated T-cell polypeptides, wherein at least one isolated T-cell polypeptide consists of an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of: SEQ ID NOs:25-37.
  2. 2
A vector comprising a nucleic acid, wherein the nucleic acid encodes one or more isolated T-cell polypeptides, wherein the one or more isolated T-cell polypeptides consist of an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:25-37.
  3. 7
A method for expanding a population of regulatory T-cells, comprising:(a) isolating regulatory T-cells from a biological sample provided from a subject;and (b) contacting the isolated regulatory T-cells with an effective amount of a Tcell epitope composition of Claim 1 under conditions wherein the T-regulatory cells increase in number to yield an expanded regulatory T-cell composition, thereby expanding the regulatory T-cells in the biological sample.
  4. 8
A method for stimulating regulatory T-cells in a biological sample, comprising:(a) isolating regulatory T-cells from a biological sample provided from a subject;and (b) contacting the isolated regulatory T-cells with an effective amount of a Tcell epitope composition of Claim 1 under conditions wherein the T-regulatory cells are stimulated to alter one or more biological function, thereby stimulating the regulatory T- cells in the biological sample.
  5. 16
A method for enhancing the immunogenicity of a vaccine delivery vector, comprising identifying and removing one or more regulatory T-cell epitopes, wherein at least one removed regulatory T-cell epitope consists of an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs 25-37.
