BACKGROUND

[18] A user interface (UI) may be incorporated into any type of software applications, including, for example, desktop applications, mobile applications, or web-based applications, to enable users to interact with and control the applications. A graphical user interface (GUI) is a type of user interface that enables users to interact with software applications through multi-media objects, including, for example, icons, buttons, menus, images, video, or audios.

FIG. 1 illustrates an example network environment 100 associated with a social-networking system.
