  1. 1
CLAIMS:' 1. A user equipment (UE) comprising: a reordering buffer of a medium access control (MAC-hs) circuitry, wherein the reordering buffer is flushed in response to receiving a radio resource control (RRC) 5 requested message associated with a high speed-downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) cell change;and at least one acknowledge mode (AM) radio link control (RLC) instance mapped to the HS-DSCH which generates a status report, the status report indicating HS-DSCH packet data units (PDUs) missed by the UE in response to the reordering 10 buffer having been flushed.
  2. 6
A method for use in a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:flushing a reordering buffer of a medium access controller-high speed (MAChs) circuitry, in response to receiving a radio resource control (RRC) requested message associated with a high speed-downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) cell change;and generating a status report of at least one acknowledge mode (AM) radio link 25 control (RLC) instance mapped to the HS-DSCH, the status report indicating HS-DSCH packet data units (PDUs) missed by the UE in response to the reordering buffer having been flushed.
