The present invention relates to individual electrical controls for spinning spindles, spinning centrifuges, or other elements rotating at very high numbers of 5 turns. In mechanical controls of this kind, the rotation of the control machine is transmitted to the spindle by means of a cord transmission. During the application of the electrical control 10 of the spindle, an electric motor was mounted in place of the cord pulley and its shaft was connected to the spindle. The motor which, in this arrangement, is above the bench of the spindles, is troublesome for the i5 work on the spindle. In addition, it can be soiled by loose wires and other impurities and is subject to damage. With the very high number of revolutions there is a strong overlapping of the bearing and care must therefore be taken to cool the bearing as well as the motor, since this motor is supplied with alternating current at high frequency and consequently heats up more strongly than a normal engine.
5 The object of the present invention is an individual electrical control of a spindle with a vertical shaft, which can be used for very high revolutions, for example more than 20,000 revolutions per minute. The invention consists in that the electric motor, whose shaft extended upwards serves as a spindle, is arranged under the bank of spindles, and that refrigerant air flows, by means of conduits, along the envelope of the motor and of the wall, air which is sucked in by a protective plate, arranged on the shaft of the spindle, and is projected outside.
As the moment of oscillation of the coil placed on the spindle and of the motor armature is generally low, any slight eccentric unevenness of the coil is manifested in service by an irregular running. The spinning pin is made insensitive to this disturbing imbalance by means of an additional flying plate. AT 5
Since, due to the very high number of turns, the spinning spindles are subject to heavy wear, care must be taken that the spindles, if necessary, can, in the event of damage, be easily replaced by 5o other pins, a large number of which are preferably provided in reserve.
However, an easy replacement of the spinning spindle is possible because the spindle, inserted in a recess of the spindle bench, 55 is held in its position, without using screw connections, by the force of springs. This also ensures that the mounting point between the spindle and the motor is elastic, · 60

LO [650.239] so that the spindle rotating at a high number of revolutions can be adjusted freely. In addition, the whole spindle with its motor can be removed from the spinning bench without having to detach any screw connection. The connection of the motor to the network is made in this case by means of elastic contact parts, which, in the service position, are applied against the current bars.
Figs. i to 3 of the attached drawings show, by way of examples, embodiments of the invention.
In fig. i, the motor i is mounted verti1 5 securely by means of the flange 2 in a notch of the spindle bank 3. Its shaft 4, extended upwards, is in the form of a spindle and carries for example the socket 5 for the winding d 'a wire. As the motor is o powered by a high frequency alternating current, the secondary magnetic effect and the high number of revolutions cause in the bearing a considerable increase in temperature, an increase which is compensated by the cooling ribs placed in the casing dn engine, these ribs forming conduits 6 disposed on the casing of the engine. The protective plate 9 has been placed above the bearing y, which 3o owing to the high number of revolutions strongly sucks in the air and thereby cools the motor casing and the bearing. The protective plate, preferably of sheet steel, does not need, due to the number; 35 high turns, to have special fan fins, and with a smooth surface of the plate, a sufficiently strong air circulation is obtained which can be reinforced _ still, if necessary, by means of low ko notches, etc. ., provided on the internal side of the plate.
. In fig. 2, the protective plate has a greater thickness so that it can act as a flywheel and can thus compensate for the lack of balance of the spindle. To reduce the stress, the mass is reduced around the circumference of the plate. Fig. 3 shows a spindle which is easily interchangeably mounted in the spindle bank and which is held in its position by springs 18. These springs i8 are fixed on the flanges 12 connected to the motor 11 and to the bearing 17 and, when the spindle is in its exact position, they are applied in a notch 16 provided 55 on the spindle bank 13. The introduction of Motor current is made by current bars 21, which are placed under the bank of pins. The elastic contacts 22, connected to the connection terminals of the motor 11, 60 are applied to these current bars 21, so that, during the insertion of the pin into the bank of pins, the motor is connected in a simple manner to the current bars. Was also placed on the casing 65 of the motor u the pressure button switch 23. The spindle i4 carrying the coil has a flywheel 19 to compensate for the lack of balance. The rotor of the control motor 11 is not arranged 70 cantilevered as in FIG. 1, but is mounted not only in the spindle bearing 17 but also in the lower bearing 21 "of the motor. For the good cooling of the two bearings as well as of the motor, the 7 b cooling ribs of the motor casing 11 are surrounded by a jacket 24,
- So that one obtains closed conduits through which the air sucked by the flywheel 19 in the form of a bowl, passes and cools 80 thereby intensely. lower motor bearing 20, motor 11, as well as upper spindle bearing 7. ..
The elastic mounting of the ia / spindle in the · spindle bank allows free adjustment of the spindle axis, which, with the high number of revolutions, is important for a smooth running of the spindle. The arrangement of FIG. 3 also offers the advantage that the whole of the electrical part is completely separated from the spindle, so that easy servicing of the spindle is ensured and that accidentally cut current bars 21. ·
