-1 The present invention relates to a decorative luminous device for horizontal surfaces such as in particular sidewalks, squares, platforms, drilling areas, halls, etc ..., characterized in that it consists of a recessed decorative light box in the ground, either indoors or outdoors, and intended to illuminate by transparency a positive film between two glass plates located at ground level.

A more detailed description will be made with reference to the accompanying drawings which show:

Said box, made of concrete, is divided into three volumes, two of which are statically ventilated. The heat is evacuated through holes, distributed around the periphery, in the upper part of the box (4).

The first volume (5) is composed, in the upper part, of two glass plates (6) between which the film is placed (photo, positive, etc.). The resistance of the glasses depends on their mode of use (pedestrian crossing, vehicles, etc.). These rest by recessing, placed on bearings (7), with silicone gasket around (7 *) and fixed to the four corners by anti-theft bolts, unboltable using a special key (17). The lower part of the first volume is made of corrugated or sandblasted glass (8). This glass is intended to protect the upper part of the volume from the heat of the lamps and to diffuse the light uniformly. This is provided with play on the periphery to allow its expansion and rests on four corner angles. This volume is ventilated on the side faces in the upper part and in the lower part.

The second volume (9) is intended to receive the lighting device (s).

-2II is composed in the lower part of a sheet metal plate (10) which supports the lighting device (s) (3), of a device connection box.

The sheet metal plate is drilled with holes (12) in order to evacuate the 5 water of condensation or rain and rests on four angles

This volume is ventilated on the side faces in the upper part and in the lower part.

The sheet metal plate rests on four corner angles. (13) without fixing in order to remove the assembly for maintenance operations.

This is connected to earth (14) from the junction box and to a flexible equipotential bonding cable (15) with the main box.

The third volume _ (16) is intended to maintain the

5 lighting fixtures out of water and to receive slack in the cables in order to remove the assembly during maintenance operations.

Lighting devices are commercial devices designed to operate outdoors and according to the constraints of the environment where the box is located.

0 The power supply will be carried out according to the standards in force and use will be made, depending on the case, of a 10mA or 30mA differential circuit breaker or of a very low voltage power supply 12 volts or 24 volts. It will be necessary to provide at the level of the box a safety in order to put it off in the event of flooding of temperature rise. These adjustments must be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The film is sealed by a silicone gasket on the periphery of the two glass plates (6). This seal will be redone for each maintenance operation or replacement of the film.

The bottom of the masonry (1) must rest on a ground or a draining support (2) to evacuate the rainwater and condensation in order to avoid the submersion of the lighting devices (3). The installation of the caisson must be carried out on a ground whose slope prevents it from receiving runoff water. This must not be located on floodable land or a vehicle washing area.
