It is well known that, in camping tables, the folded legs and the articulated flying buttresses are held on the support frame by means of attached attachment tabs, fixed by welding or by any other means.

This fixing method is impractical. It requires delicate work to obtain precise positioning of the attachment tabs. In addition, the visible welds are unattractive.

It is therefore to overcome these drawbacks that it has become necessary to fix the feet on the support frame of the camping tables. This attachment is the subject of this patent.

To clearly define the object of the invention, without however limiting it, in the appended drawing:

Figure 1 is, on a small scale, a perspective view of a frame of a camping table equipped with foldable legs according to the known method;

Figure 2 is, on a larger scale, a perspective view of a profiled support rule made according to the invention and arranged opposite a fraction of one of the lateral sides of the tubular frame;

Figure 3 is, on a larger scale, an overall front view, showing the mounting and fixing of the support rule on the tubular frame of the table;

FIG. 4 is a side view, in cross section, along the axis ab in FIG. 3.

This device for fixing the folded feet on the support frame of the camping tables essentially comprises, at the right of each foot, a support ruler which is shaped and shaped to form the attachment tabs directly and to be applied, by its profile, on the tubular part of the frame.

According to the nonlimiting example of application illustrated by the accompanying drawing, each support rule 1 is presented transversely with a very open U-shaped section having, internally, a well marked rounded l¹ centered on the periphery of the tube 2 forming the framework of the table top.

Price of the booklet: 1 NF support 1 form, at its ends, two repressed legs f² and l³ obtained directly by stamping or other means. The extreme paw² is offset transversely on the side of the support rule 1 and allows the support and articulation of the ends of the branches 3 of the corresponding foot, as illustrated in FIG. 2.

The opposite leg l³ is bent vertically with respect to the rectilinear lower branch of the support rule 1 and allows, by its internal face, the support and the articulation of the corresponding flying buttress formed in the known manner of two articulated arms 4 and 5 on the common axis 6. The ends of the arms 4 and 5 are oriented, respectively, on the tab l³ and on the branch 3 of the corresponding leg, so as to form a rigid connection when the leg is in the use position, while allowing it to be folded down when the table is folded.

The support rule 1 thus equipped is then applied judiciously by its internal rounded 1 ′, in line with the corresponding end of each of the lateral sides of the tube 2 forming the framework of the table top. The fixing of the support rule 1 is obtained by welding points arranged on the one hand in the gap formed between the upper branch and the periphery of the tube 2 and, also, at the ends of the support rule 1, as illustrated by Figure 3.

It is obvious that the support rules are made symmetrically with extreme tabs l² always arranged along the outside of the table.

The advantages of these provisions allow rapid fixing of the feet equipped with the standing arcs. In addition, the legs l² and l³, carried out directly during the conformation of the support rule 1, ensure rapid and precise assembly and, consequently, flexible joints. Finally, the support rules constitute, after assembly, reinforcements of the tubular framework 2 of the table top.

As is obvious and as is clear from the foregoing, the invention is in no way limited to that of its modes of application, no more than that of the embodiments of its various [1,237,481] parts which have been more particularly indicated; on the contrary, it embraces all its variants.
