Device for processing streams and method thereof

A digital broadcast receiving apparatus and a method for processing a stream in a digital broadcast receiving apparatus. In the solution, a stream is received to which RS parity and CRC value are added to be in a perpendicular direction to each other and which is then interleaved. The received stream is demodulated and equalized, and then the equalized stream is deinterleaved. The stream is arranged by means of digital broadcasting transmission equipment so that the stream divided according to several preset processing units is arranged in a single arrangement unit.
