Method of selecting public land mobile network for network sharing

A communication procedure performed by a first base station (225, 325), the procedure comprising: receiving, from a core network (210, 310), a handover request message that includes information about the ability to share the network of a terminal(250, 260, 350, 360); select the same public land mobile network, PLMN, Identifier, ID, as the one used in an originating base station (220, 320), in case the information on the terminal's network sharing capacity (250, 260, 350 , 360) indicates that the terminal (250, 260, 350, 360) supports a shared network and in case the common PLMN ID of the first base station is identical to the PLMN ID used in the originating base station or an additional PLMN ID of the first base station is identical to the PLMN used at the originating base station; and transmitting a message including the same selected PLMN ID to the core network (210, 310).
