A composition comprising albumin nanoparticle-antibody complexes, said complexes comprising albumin, an antibody and paclitaxel, wherein the nanoparticle complexes have been preformed in vitro by mixing albumin-paclitaxel nanoparticles with the antibody under conditions to form antibody-paclitaxel complexes. albumin nanoparticle, such that the antibody retains antibody-mediated anti-cancer binding specificity, wherein the mean diameter of at least 5% of said antibody-albumin nanoparticle complexes of said composition is between 0.1 and 0.9 μm, measured by light refraction, and wherein the antibody is trastuzumab or rituximab.
