Using cnam injection to deliver caller information

A computer-implemented method of supplying reputation information, comprising: receiving, by a caller reputation server (150), a query requesting caller ID name, CNAM, information from a carrier platform (130), the carrier platform (130) routes a call from the caller number, the call is placed by a caller device (120) associated with the caller number to a called device (110), and the query associated with the call ; in response to receiving the query from the operator platform (130), interacting, by the caller reputation server (150), with the operator platform (130) to provide call control functionality to the operator platform (130) to delay the call; determining, by the caller reputation server (150), the reputation information associated with the caller number, the reputation information indicating a possibility that the call is a nuisance call; generating, by the caller reputation server (150), a reputation message describing the reputation information; and sending, by the caller reputation server (150), the reputation message to the operator platform to inject the reputation message that is generated into the CNAM information that is obtained by the operator platform (130 ) and associated with the caller's number, where a response is formed as a result of the injection and the response is sent to the called device (110) by the operator platform (130), the response that is formed includes the reputation message that is generated by the caller's reputation server (150) and the CNAM information that is obtained by the operator platform (130).
