Set to provide a support structure between intestinal sections, comprising: an annular surgical stapling device (10), which has an anvil assembly (30) and a tubular body part (20), in which the anvil assembly has an anvil member (26) and a first axis (28), in the that the tubular body part conveys a plurality of surgical clips in an annular configuration, in which the tubular body portion has a second axis radially disposed into the surgical clips, in which the first axis can be fixed to the second axis; a support structure (100) having an opening (104) located, in general, centrally, to be arranged in one of the first axis and the second axis; and the support structure comprises a material selected from the group consisting of an adhesive, a sealant, a hemostatic and a medicament, the support structure includes a first layer (102a), a second layer (102b), and a member circular (130) disposed between the first layer and the second layer, characterized in that the assembly further comprises a removable member for maintaining the support structure (100) collapsed against the first axis (28), where the removable member is a breakable cuff.
