DESCRIPTION
Token with electronic chip insert.
The present invention concerns tokens in the general shape of a disk comprising contactless electronic chip identification devices, in particular gambling or casino tokens.
Generally, the game tokens are made of scratch resistant and rigid plastic to obtain a robust overall constitution. The game chips have motifs of various designs or colors to form a more or less complex decoration and reduce the risks of counterfeiting and / or fraudulent reproduction. On the other hand, the use, in association with the value of the chips, of color codes and colored motifs in particular on the edge of the chips, allows dealers or other users, by simple visualization, to identify and / or order quickly the chips even the stacked ones.
To fight against fraud and facilitate the counting and tracking of the chips, especially in a gaming room or a casino, chips have been proposed that integrate electronic memory circuit modules in which the information associated with the chip is stored. such as, for example, its identification number or code and / or its numerical value. Most of the time, the communication between the electronic circuit module integrated in the card and its external reading / writing station is carried out without contact, then using a contactless electronic chip identification device comprising, associated with an antenna, generally circular loop, an electronic circuit chip, in order to be able to communicate "without contact" with the read / write station according to the RFID radio frequency identification technique, the chip then combining a circuit part with a transmitter / receiver function with a memory circuit part with a function of information storage.
Patent US 4,969,549 describes a payment token that can be used in public telephone installations in which the electronic circuit and its antenna are encapsulated in a small diameter plastic disc, between 20 and 30 mm, without specifying no. Despite its manufacturing process, a token whose center is traversed, on the other hand, by a conductive axial core.
Patent US 5,166,502 describes a casino chip in which the antenna and the electronic circuit are arranged inside a metal ballast located in turn between two face labels in the center of a ring of injected plastic material, remaining all this held in position with the help of epoxy resin and by means of a second injection that covers the ring and the periphery of the labels. This token, which is complex in structure and expensive to manufacture, does not offer all the security that is of interest since it is possible to access the electronic circuit by simply cutting out a face tag without completely destroying the structure of the token or rendering it useless.
Patent EP 0694872 belonging to the Applicant describes a casino token whose body includes as an insert a central disk made up of a rigid casing of plastic material loaded with metallic particles and carrying an electronic identification device, and an annular crown of material. plastic injected around the disc, making the central disk also the times of ballast by the choice of the material and quantity of the metallic charge to contribute to the chip the total weight desired by the casino. In a first variant, the one-piece casing is injected around a protective casing within which the electronic device has previously been integrated. In a second variant, the casing is obtained by securing, after the electronic identification device has been fitted, a cover and a hollow disk made of injected plastic material. This technique for manufacturing electronic identifier tokens, although it gives good results, has some limits, in particular with regard to the maximum diameter of the antenna loop that must be integrated into the central disk, taking into account the dimensions of the tokens. generally used in casinos and gambling halls. To fix the ideas, casino chips with a diameter generally between 39 and 50 mm use electronic chips that operate around a frequency of 125 kHz and have an antenna diameter of the order of 21 mm. However, the Applicant has noted the interest of using antennas with a larger active surface, in particular with a larger diameter, with electronic chips that operate around a frequency of 13.56 MHz, for example loop antennas with a minimum diameter of 25 mm, at least in casino chip apps.
Patent US 2002/0006829 describes tokens that carry an electronic identification device that uses a chip with an operating frequency of 13.56 MHz attached to the back of a decorative plastic label arranged in a cavity provided on a side face of the file. As for the token object of US patent 5,166,502, this structure does not offer all the security that is of interest to the extent that it is possible to access the electronic circuit by simply cutting out the face tag without completely destroying the structure. of the card or render it unusable. On the other hand, the label, cut out of a thin plastic plate, does not ensure sufficient protection against light radiation or the like (in particular UV radiation), to which some 13.56 MHz chips seem to be quite sensitive.

Patent US 6,296,190 describes a casino chip in the general shape of a disk comprising a body having a central opening in which an insert is arranged comprising a contactless electronic chip identification device and associated antenna, in which the insert comprises two rigid plates joined or nested to define a peripheral annular zone in which said identification device is arranged.
For this card, the assembly of the two inserts is carried out from the side.
Patent application WO 2005/069209 describes a token that can be used as a transport ticket for the metro or bus in which an RF tag is implanted, and manufactured by means of an injection molding process. This card comprises a body that presents the combination of two discs, each one presenting respective depressions in the central part, the RF tag being implanted within the depressions, and which are held together, by the peripheral part, by an outer ring of injected matter.
The assembly of the two inserts on this card is carried out from the side by means of an injection molding procedure.
Patent application FR 2 817 373 describes a method of manufacturing contactless card-type portable objects comprising a device with a contactless electronic chip and associated antenna. This procedure is not put into practice in the manufacture of tokens with a contactless electronic identification device.
The purpose of the invention is to propose tokens with a contactless electronic identification device, in particular casino tokens, with the general shape of a disk whose body comprises a central insert whose structure allows the implantation of an electronic chip with an enlarged active surface antenna, at the time that offers the required protection to the electronic identification device.
To this end, the invention proposes a token according to claim 1.
As presented in detail below, the insertion structure according to the invention makes it possible to increase the active surface of the chip antenna while ensuring good protection of the identification device between the two plates of rigid plastic material. In particular, the arrangement according to the invention prevents any possibility of fraudulent replacement of the insert at the risk of completely destroying the token and rendering it useless. Finally, the arrangement of the contactless electronic chip in an intermediate position within the thickness of the insertion of the token protects it from light and UV radiation and facilitates RFID contactless radio frequency reading of stacks or columns of tokens.
According to a preferred embodiment of the tokens according to the invention, the central part of the internal face of at least one of the plates comprises at least one central projection to define said peripheral annular area with a little distance between the internal faces of the inserts.
According to a first variant, the antenna is supported by a thin insulating film which, arranged between the two plates, has at least one central perforation through which one or at least one of said central projections passes. As specified below in the description, it is possible to obtain a spacing between inserts of the order of 2 tenths of a mm. This arrangement makes it possible to limit the thickness of the insert and, therefore, of the token, which is sometimes sought by casinos, to increase the thickness of the inserts that make up the insert and its weight, or to insert one or two tablets in film. detectable.
According to another variant, the thin film is fixed by adhesive on the internal face of at least one of the plates. Advantageously, all or part of the antenna is obtained by deposition of conductive material on the thin insulating film.
According to another variant according to the invention, at least one of the plates bears, on the periphery of its internal face, an annular stop to protect the identification device against crushing and / or the entry of material into the peripheral annular zone. This arrangement further strengthens the protection of the contactless electronic identification device.
According to yet another variant of chips according to the invention, the insert has a general disk shape and the antenna is formed in a loop with a diameter between 25 and 30 mm. Advantageously, said chip operates in a frequency range comprised between 10 to 17 MHz or in a frequency range comprised between 2 and 5 GHz.
According to yet another variant of tokens according to the invention, the insert comprises between the two plates two pellets in an oriented detectable film of active material or an alloy sensitive to electromagnetic radiation, the orientation of the two detectable films being preferably crossed substantially at
ES 2 392 646 T3
90 °. This arrangement, associated with detection arches at the entrances to casino gambling rooms, offers good protection against chip theft.
According to yet another variant of tokens according to the invention, the body of the token is made of plastic material injected around said insert with coating of the periphery of the insert and / or with introduction of material on the edge of the insert. In particular, the insert has an insert on the beveled periphery or on the rounded edges and / or on an edge that has a groove. Advantageously, the plates are made of plastic that optionally includes weight loads compatible with RFID contactless transmission.
According to yet another variant of the token according to the invention, it comprises on each face a cavity in which a label bearing a decoration and / or a mark and / or a hologram is fixed.
The token according to the invention as defined above and / or in all its variants or embodiments constitutes a game token or a casino token.
The invention also concerns an insert with a contactless electronic chip identification device according to claim 15.
The invention also concerns a method of manufacturing a token according to the invention which, without forming part of the claims, comprises at least the following operations:
the realization by injection of plastic material, possibly loaded, of two insert plates with at least one central projection of integration;
placing on the inside face of one of the two plates of the non-contact electronic chip identification device and fixing by means of adhesive the thin film carrying the chip and the antenna of the identification device on the corresponding plate;
the assembly of the two plates around the identification device to carry out the insertion;
placing the insert inside a first injection mold, the two half-shells of which define a first cavity corresponding to the core of the token body around said insert in the center of the first cavity;
injection of the soul of the token;
placing the core of the token inside a second injection mold, the two half-shells of which define a second cavity corresponding to all or almost all of the body of the token;
injection of the coating layer;
possible complementary injection (s) of edge inclusions to complete the body of the token, if necessary;
and, optionally, profiling the token body to finish off the edge of the token.
Other purposes, characteristics and advantages of the present invention will appear upon reading the subsequent description of various preferred modes of making tokens according to the invention, given by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the attached drawings, in which:

According to a first embodiment of the invention, the multi-injected game token 10 in the form of a disc in colored plastic materials, illustrated in Figures 1a and 1b, presents a body 12 made up of a core 14 carrying an insert 26 comprising an identification device 27 by means of a contactless electronic chip (see in particular Figures 3 and 6) and obtained by means of a first injection of plastic material of a first color (represented schematically in dotted lines to facilitate understanding of Figures 1a-1b) and covered on its peripheral part by a covering layer 16 obtained by means of a second injection of plastic of a different color, the core 14 being peripherally carrying projections 18 of radial and / or lateral extension that appear by emergence on the surface of the covering layer 16 on the faces 11 and 13 and on the edge 20 of the token. In this specific case, the three projections 18 are parallel to the axis of the token 10 (perpendicular to the edge 20 in order to make a two-color motif of five color bars). It is thus possible to make, attached to the mass of the body of the token to resist counterfeiting, colored decorations on the faces and / or on the edge, particularly susceptible to being visually distinguished. In a normal way, these motifs are repeated (for example 6 times) and circumferentially evenly distributed, in particular on the edge 20 to allow visual or optical identification of the token regardless of the orientation of the token.
The token is completed by fixing it in the shallow central cavity 15 provided on each face 11 and 13 of a plastic label 22 bearing an ornament, for example printed or silk-screened (represented schematically in figure 1 by the DCR sign) , and / or a brand name (for example that of the casino) and / or a hologram.
Of course, the invention is not limited to two-color tokens but also concerns single-shot single-color chips (core 14 and layer 16 confused) and chips of 3, 4 and more injections in which at least an additional injection of a plastic material of a different color to that of the previous injections directly into housings 19 (visible in figure 2) defined by the hollow spaces between the projections 18.
As illustrated in Figures 2 and 3, the core 14 of the body 12 has a general shape of a ring whose central opening 25 receives the circular insert 26 carrying the identification device (shown in section in figure 3) by a contactless electronic chip 27 (or electronic identifier) consisting mainly of starting from an electronic circuit 28 with RFID (radio frequency identification) transmitter-receiver fixed on a thin film 31 and from a circular antenna 30 obtained by deposition of conductive matter on thin film 31 (eg electrolytic deposition followed by partial chemical attack). Figures 4 and 6 show a perspective view of the RFID identification device 27 in which the antenna 30 is drawn in a purely schematic way by means of a series of concentric circles to show the positioning of the antenna 30 on the periphery of the thin film disk. 31. By way of non-limiting example, the film 31, in this specific case a thin flexible film, is a 40 micron PET (polyethylene terephthalate) type polyester film. Although it is not represented in the figures, the thin film 31 is covered on at least one of its faces, preferably the carrying face of the antenna reservoir, with a thin adhesive film designed to stick the identification device 27 on the internal face of one of the two plates 34 and 36 of the insert 26 and also play a role of protecting the antenna, in particular against crushing. Furthermore, the thin film 31 comprises a central perforation 32 that allows the identification device 27 to be positioned relative to the insert 26 as explained below. The assembly of the RFID identification device 27 is presented in the form of a thin flexible sheet with a maximum thickness of the order of 0.2 mm and a diameter of the order of 26.5 mm for a 25 mm effective diameter of the antenna 30 and with a perforation 32 of approximately 10 mm in diameter.
In general, the electronic identification device 27 comprises an electronic circuit 28, which incorporates a PROM memory that carries the information regarding the token and / or the person or object associated with the token, for example a fixed identification code 64-bit numeric or alphanumeric (comprising one or more fields such as: the serial number, the identification of a product, a lot or a place, a numerical value associated with the token, etc.), and an RFID 28 radio frequency transceiver with peripheral circular antenna adapted to be powered by coupling inductive from the modulated waves of a reading station (not shown). In practice, the transmitter-receiver is capable of exchanging data without contact, by modulated waves, with a reading station located at a distance (by way of non-limiting example, between 15 cm and 2 m), the working frequency being between 10 kHz and 5 GHz, to cover in particular the 125 kHz bands,
ES 2 392 646 T3
13.56 MHz and 2.45 GHz. The electronic memory identification device 27 allows for example to fight against theft and / or to facilitate the management and inventory of a batch of objects within a defined space (storage areas, warehouses , warehouses). Of course, without departing from the scope of the invention, the electronic memory identification device 27 of the non-reprogrammable type (read only) can be replaced by a reprogrammable device with an evolutionary code with the possibility of reading and writing in memory. By way of non-limiting example, chip 28 is of the Magellan type with an operating frequency of 13.56 MHz manufactured by the company INFINEON (Germany).
The insert 26, illustrated schematically in figure 3 (without respecting the scale to facilitate understanding of the drawing), is made by means of two rigid plates 34, 36 in the shape of a disk, joined or fitted in the central part with the help of central projections 35 , 37 facing each other and supported by the corresponding internal faces 38, 40 of the plates 34 and 36. As illustrated in Figure 3 and according to a particular embodiment presented as a non-limiting example, the projection 37 of the insert 36 comprises a central cavity 42 that receives the projection 35 of the insert 34, being a In turn, the annular projection 37 is received inside an annular groove 44 made by the internal face 38 of the plate 34, all of which is positioned coaxially in relation to the axis XX 'of the insert 26 (and, therefore, from the body of card 12). The relative axial dimensions between the heights of the projections 35 and 37 and the depths of the cavity 42 and of the groove 44 are such that, once the two plates 34 and 36 have been assembled or nested, they define a peripheral annular zone 46 that It has a small distance in which the identification device 27 is housed, the annular projection 37 projecting through the perforation 32. By way of non-limiting example, insert 26 has a diameter of 27 mm, a thickness of 2.5 mm and a spacing between plates at the annular zone 46 of 0.2 mm, standing out, which is possible and can be It has provided, as a variant not shown, to fit on the internal face of one of the plates a small housing for the chip 28 in order to avoid any risk of crushing it.
Figure 2 shows the body of the token 12 at the end of the first injection, that is, its core 14 before being covered by layer 16, whose contours 50 and 51 are shown in dashes in Figure 2. The inner contours 51 define on each face of the token the shallow central circular cavity 15 (of the order of 0.5 mm) that serves as a housing for the decorated plastic label 22 attached to the token (as represented in lines in figure 1b) . Furthermore, inside the cavities 15, the injected core 14 (shown partially in section and outlined in figure 3) comes flush with the external faces 52 and 54 of the plates 34 and 36 (in which some peripheral steps 49 as illustrated in Figure 3) to define on both sides of the insert 26 a cover collar 47, the circular edge 48 of the insert 26 also being represented in dashed lines in Figure 2.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the circular shape of the insert, the RFID identification device and the corresponding antenna, but covers any appropriate variant, in particular with polygonal shapes, preferably with an axis of axial symmetry to facilitate injection. of the body of the token, in this specific case the core 14, around the insert 26.
Without limiting character, the chips according to the invention are presented in the form of a disk generally with a diameter between 39 and 50 mm with a thickness of the order of 3.3 mm. The edge of the token can be chamfered with rounded edges or simply in a straight profile, in particular if it is desired to be able to carry out an optical reading from the edge of the tokens. If necessary, the chamfered or straight profile is finished by milling on the grinding wheel or on the lathe.
As regards the plastic materials used for the injection of the tokens manufactured within the framework of the implementation of the invention, in particular for the game token 10, these are obtained from a properly charged base polymer (in particular with weight and colored materials) and selected from the following:
- polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA);
- acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS);
- polyamides and their copolymers;
- polyacetal and acetal copolymers (POM / polyoxymethylene);
- polyphenylene sulfide (PPS);
- poly (alkylene terephthalates), in particular polybutylene terephthalate (PBT);
- thermoplastic polyurethanes (PUR);
- vinyl polymers, polyvinyl chloride (PVC);
- polyolefins, in particular polyethylenes (PE) and polypropylenes.
By way of non-limiting example, a polyamide 6 or 6.6 with a weight load of barite powder or barium sulfate (up to approximately 70% by weight) is used for the body of the token. Each injection is carried out between 800 and 1400 bars with an injection temperature of 280/300 ° C and a mold temperature of approximately 50 ° C. This composition is also usable for the inserts 26 for light chips (9 to 10 g).
ES 2 392 646 T3
Of course, the compositions can vary, in particular by fillers incorporated in the materials used for the various injections: for example in weight fillers (barite, metal powders, zinc oxide, etc.) and in colorant fillers (zinc oxide, etc.) to obtain the color tone chosen for each injection, highlighting that the loads used for the inserts are chosen compatible with contactless rFiD transmission. In particular, as regards the inserts 26 intended for the heaviest chips (13 to 14 g), a polyamide 6 loaded with tungsten powder and / or with copper (up to approximately 80% by weight) or loaded with small bronze balls.
The invention also concerns a manufacturing method, which does not form part of the claims, of the body 12 of a token according to the invention defined in all its variants described herein and comprising at least the following operations:
- the production by injection of plastic material, possibly loaded, of two insert plates 34, 36 with at least one central projection;
- the placement, on the internal face of one of the two plates, of the identification device 27 by means of a non-contact electronic chip and the fixing by means of adhesive of the thin film 31 carrying the chip and the antenna of the identification device 27 on the corresponding insert;
- the assembly of the two plates 34, 36 around the identification device to carry out the insertion 26;
- the placement of the insert inside a first injection mold, the two half-shells of which define a first cavity corresponding to the core 14 of the body of the token around the insert 26 in the center of the first cavity;
- injection of the core 14 of the token;
- placement of the core 14 of the token (with the insert 26) inside a second injection mold, the two half-shells of which define a second cavity corresponding to all or almost all of the body 12 of the token;
- injection of the coating layer 16;
- Possible complementary injection (s) of edge inclusions to complete the body of the token, if necessary;
- and, optionally, possible profiling of the token body 12 to finish off the edge 20 of the token.
Optionally, the token is finished off by placing two decorative labels 22 inside the cavities 15.
Without leaving the scope of the invention, the assembly of the insert 26 can be carried out in various ways, in particular, without limitation, by direct bonding of the two plates at their central parts (for example by gluing, in particular with epoxy resin aid, ultrasonic welding, etc.) either by forced engagement, or by engagement with seaming of the central projections, or even by fitting and fixing between plates by means of double adhesive arranged on the two faces of the film 31 for cooperation with each of the internal faces of the plates 34 and 36.
As can be seen in figure 3, insert 26 presents an edge with rounded edges (or beveled on the outside) on which the injected core 14 comes to cover the rounded portions (steps 49) to emerge at the level of the external faces of inserts 34 and 36. However, without departing from the framework of the invention, the edge can be straight, beveled or rounded with an injection of the core 14 in coating with extra thickness or step in relation to the external faces of the plates to be made around the periphery of the insert. 26 a continuous or discontinuous crown. On the other hand, to avoid, if necessary, entry of injected material into the peripheral annular zone 46 or the crushing of the identification device 27, at least one of the plates 34, 36 carries a stop on the periphery of its internal face. annular (not shown).
Figures 4 and 6 refer to a second insertion variant used in the tokens according to the invention, in particular in a token of the type illustrated in Figures 1a and 1b and described above. This insert 26 'is very similar to insert 26 and will not be described again in detail (as well as the corresponding cards), it being understood that the identical or almost identical elements between the inserts and the corresponding cards will bear the same numerical references and that the similar elements shall bear the same numerical references accompanied by the sign "'".
ES 2 392 646 T3
As illustrated in Figure 4, insert 26 'is made up of two plates of injected rigid plastic 34' and 36 ', possibly with a weight load as mentioned above, between which it is arranged, with adhesive attachment, the above-described contactless electronic chip identification device 27 with the chip 28 and its antenna 30 associated with the thin film 31. In relation to insert 26, insert 26 'is characterized by the following points:
i) the two inserts 34 'and 36' are identical and interchangeable in order to reduce manufacturing costs, in particular thanks to the use of a single injection mold (instead of two) for insert 26 ';
ii) the central projections 60, 61, 62 and 63, adapted to project through the perforation 32 of the film 31, are distributed on each internal face 38 '(and 40') in two concentric and angularly offset crenellated crowns, alternately with portions of grooves 64, 65, 66 and 67 made in the internal faces of the plates 34 'and 36' and destined to receive the corresponding projections of the other face, the heights of the projections 60-63 and the depths of the grooves 64-67 being chosen in order to make, once the two plates have been assembled, the peripheral annular zone 46 of little distance that receives the identification device 27. As illustrated in detail in Figures 4 and 5 (the first showing the internal face 40 'of the insert 36'), each external castellated crown, the diameter of which is chosen slightly smaller than that of the perforation 32, comprises three projections 60, 61 equidistributed according to a ternary symmetry of axis XX 'and spaced in three portions of grooves 64 and 65 with an angle in the center slightly greater than that of the projections 60, 61. Similarly, each internal castellated crown, adjacent to the external castellated crown but offset from it by an angle in the center of 60 °, comprises three projections 62, 63 equidistributed according to a ternary symmetry of axis XX 'and spaced three Groove portions 66 and 67 angle in the center slightly higher than that of projections 62, 63. Thus, once the insert 26 'is assembled by snapping grooves / projections, the outer central projections 60 and 61 project respectively into the outer grooves 65 and 64 and the inner central projections 62 and 63 project respectively into the inner grooves 67 and 66. As illustrated in Figure 5 and by way of non-limiting example, the fit is carried out forced by contact with support on support zones 71 between the internal cylindrical walls 70 of the external central projections 60 (and 61) and the external cylindrical walls 72 of the internal central projections 63 (and 64), on the other hand having provided small gaps 73 in opposition to the support zones 71 to allow, if necessary, a slight deformation of the central projections in the forced fit. Of course, any other connection of the two plates 34 'and 36' is possible as a variant, in particular by gluing or welding.
iii) the edge 48 'of the insert 26' is recessed in its middle part to slightly protrude the outer edge of the film 31. For this purpose, the peripheries 74 and 76 of the plates 34 'and 36' are beveled towards the inside and the external faces 52 'and 54' of the plates 34 'and 36' incorporate reduced steps 49 'intended to be covered with plastic material injected from the body of the token in the joint between the insert 26 'and the body of the token, as presented below in relation to Figures 7a, 7b and 7c.
As a variant of insert 26 ', FIG. 6 shows an exploded view of an insert 26' 'in which the two pellets 80, 82 in oriented detectable film of active material or of an alloy sensitive to electromagnetic radiation are found arranged on either side of the identification device 27, the orientation of the two detectable films of the tablets being crossed at approximately 90 °. Alternatively, the tablets 80 and 82 comprise one or two faces covered with adhesive to facilitate the assembly of the insert 26 '', it being understood that the distance between the internal faces of the plates 34 'and 36' can be slightly increased to compensate for the thickness. of the two tablets and avoid crushing the identification device 27.
Figures 7a, 7b and 7c show the integration of the insert 26 'inside the central opening 25', 25b, 25c of an annular token body made by double injection with core (first injection) and covering layer (second injection) .
Figure 7a corresponds to a token structure substantially identical to that of the token 10, in particular the body 12 'comprises a core 14' injected around the edge 48 'of the insert 26' and which comes to cover the steps 49 'of the insert 26' flush with the outer faces 52 ', 54' of the insert. The body / insert connection is carried out at the level of the central opening 25 'of the core 14' (coinciding with the central opening of the body 12 '), core 14' which is partially covered in the second injection by the layer 16 '.
Figure 7b corresponds to a token structure similar to that of the token 10, but in which the body / insert integration, still carried out in the central opening 25b of the body 12b of the token, is carried out at the level of the central opening of the web 14b and at the central opening of the web 16b. In particular, the
ES 2 392 646 T3 body 12b comprises a core 14b injected around the central part of the edge of the insert 26 '(beveled peripheries 74, 76 and projecting edge of the film of the identification device 27) to come to emerge on the steps 49 '. The core 14b is covered in the second injection by the layer 16b, which comes to cover the steps 49 'of the insert 26' flush with the external faces 52 ', 54' of the insert.
Figure 7c corresponds to another token structure similar to that of the token 10, but in which the body / insert connection, still carried out in the central opening of the token body 12c, is carried out at the level of the opening. center of cover layer 16c. In particular, the body 12c comprises an annular injected core 14c with a diameter greater than that of the insert 26 '. In the second injection, the coating layer 16c wraps around the core 14b to cover the entire edge 48 'of the insert 26' including the steps 10 49 'of the insert 26' until it is flush with the external faces 52 ' , 54 'from insertion.
Of course, the invention is not limited to gambling chips or casino chips, but also concerns all types of disk-shaped tokens with an injected plastic body that integrates an electronic identifier, such as, without limitation , parking cards, payment cards and countermarks and identification badges of the goods or people.
