According to one aspect of the present invention, the aforementioned aim and objectives, as well as still other objectives, which will become clearer hereinafter, are achieved by means of a modular shower tray and cabin construction, as specified. in claim 1.

Description of the preferred embodiment

In relation to the numerical references of the aforementioned figures, the construction of the shower tray and cabin according to the present invention, which has been indicated in general with the numerical reference 1, comprises a lower part 2, which includes a plate-type body 3 associated with a support frame to provide a water collecting tray or basin.

More specifically, said plate-type body 3 is preferably formed from foamed PVC, plate extruded PVC, and the like, its side edges 5 being successively hot bending, at a temperature of approximately 80 ° C, by way of example, to engage the component elements of the frame 4, formed by sections of extruded profiled members.

As shown, the plate-type body 3 is provided with a cut-out portion 6, in which a drain assembly will be arranged, generally indicated by the reference numeral 7.

Actually, the plate-like body 3 can be made in various sizes, both in a transverse direction and in a longitudinal direction.

In particular, the profiled member 4 can be cut into lengths of any desired size, depending on the size of the sides of the plate-like body 3, thus allowing a shower bottom 2 having any desired dimension to be provided, depending on specific usage requirements.

On the other hand, the tray and cabin construction according to the present invention, and in particular the lower part thereof, can be made, as mentioned, with a large number of different dimensions with respect to the standard size of the constructions. above basin and shower cubicles, but nonetheless at costs that can be advantageously compared to previous standard shower cubicle assemblies.

Another advantage of the invention is that it can be assembled and installed very quickly and easily, using available assembly tools and instruments.
