The present invention relates to a salt lane. To which it is placed between sections of a track path along which toy vehicles move. The jump track has a striking member that extends within the travel path of the vehicles such that, if the vehicles are applied to any part of the striking member, a platform that is pivotally mounted with with respect to the base of the jump lane it is automatically swung towards arri. ba resulting in vehicles jumping into the air. While the vehicles move along the platform to the striking member without being applied to the platform, the platform remains aligned with the base thus allowing the vehicle to leave the platform and continue moving along the track path .

Figure 1 is a perspective view of the jump lane, illustrating the platform in the raised position whereby a vehicle that travels along the track will be propelled up into the air;

Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the jump rail, illustrating the base on which the platform is pivotally mounted, the striking member that is pivotally mounted on the base and pushed nojcly to a first position to retain the platform in its lower position level with the base but that - when hit by the vehicle it moves to a second position releasing the platform, allowing it to move under the influence of a spring to its raised position, resulting in the vehicle moving along the track road being propelled upwards to the air.

The jump track of the present invention includes a base 10 on which it is mounted to rotate a platform 12. The platform 12, as illustrated in Figure 3, includes next to one of its ends two trees 14 that are properly mounted with with respect to base 10 to allow platform 12 to rotate relative to base 10.

A spring is interposed between the base 10 and the platform 12 with the use of the disc 17 resting against the flange 19 and the fastener 21 in order to normally push the platform 12 up to the position illustrated, given in the figure 2.

A striking member generally designated by the reference number IB includes a plate 20 that is provided. ta with a tree 22 next to one of its ends, which is properly mounted within a ring 24 that extends upwardly from the bottom of the base 10. A similar arrangement (not shown) is arranged at the other end of the plate 20, thus allowing the striking member 18 to pivot in relation to the base lü. A spring 26 has one of its ends fixed to an arm 20 extending upwardly from the plate 20 and its other end fixed to a fastener 30 arranged on the base 10. The striking member 18 is also provided - with a hook member 32 extending upwardly from the plate 20, while the platform 12 is provided, as illustrated in Figure 2, with a stop 34 extending towards down from her. Thus, when the striking member 18, under the influence of the spring 26, is pushed into the position shown in Figure 3, the hook member 32 is seated on the surface 36 of the stop 34 thereby retaining the platform 12 in its lower position, in which it is aligned with base 10. When the striking member 18 is rotated in a dextrose direction, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the hook member 32 also rotates in this way from the surface 36 of the stop 34 releasing the platform 12, in which The spring 16 imperatively drives the platform 12 upwards to the position illustrated in Figure 1. When the platform 12 has been lifted in this way, the toy vehicle 38 that travels along section 40 of the track road, as illustrated in Figure 1, will be propelled up into the air . From Figure 1 it will be apparent that platform 12 includes rails 42, 44 and 46 extending upwards, which define a travel path. to for vehicle 38. It is possible that the vehicle 38 passes along the path 48 without being applied to the striking member 18 and continues along the adjacent section 50 of the track path. However, if the vehicle 38 deviates to the left in the direction of lane 46 and - hits the side wall 49 of the striking member 18, said striking member 18 is moved against the force of the draw spring 26 thereby releasing the platform 12 to rise under the influence of spring 16 to its raised position. To retain the platform 12 in its lowest position where a jump is never possible, a lever 52 is also provided which, as illustrated in Figure 3, includes an arm 74 extending along one of its ends upwards through a hole 56 disposed in the base 10. The other end of the lever 52 is mounted with a fastener 58 to the base 10 allowing the lever 52 to rotate. The platform 12 is also provided with a second stop 60 which extends downwards from it and includes a surface 61 to which the lever 52 is applied only when the handle 52 is rotated in a sinister direction, as illustrated in Figure 3 In this position, the lever 52 is directly above and in application with the surface 61 of the hook member 60, thereby preventing the platform 12 from being lifted, even when the striking member IB is applied. When the handle 54 is moved in the dextrose direction, such as illustrated in Figure 3, the lever 52 is disengaged from the surface 61 of the hook member 60, at which time the application of the vehicle 3B against the striking member 18 it will make the platform 12 pivot upwards, causing the vehicle 3B to jump.
