DESCRIPTION
Security device and intrusion alarm system.
Field of the invention
The invention falls within the field of intrusion alarm systems.
Background of the invention
Intruder alarm systems are known to detect an intruder and to generate a corresponding alarm, in order to scare the intruder and / or to allow his arrest. This type of "anti-theft" systems, intended for both domestic and professional use, for example, in industrial estates, etc., can include a plurality of peripheral devices or accessories. Peripheral devices may include intrusion detectors, for example, volumetric detectors (which may be based on, for example, infrared, ultrasonic and / or microwave detectors), perimeter detectors (for example, electrical switches, photoelectric cells), etc., as well as generators of an alarm signal, for example, self-powered outdoor sirens (i.e. equipped with a power source, in order not to depend on the integrity of the general electricity supply network), telephonic combiners (devices programmed so that when they receive an alarm activation signal, they dial a pre-programmed telephone number and transmit a message to a recipient, for example, to an alarm center of a surveillance company), etc. All peripheral devices can be connected to a base station in which information is received from the detectors and from which alarm activation signals are emitted to the peripheral devices that generate alarm signals.
In traditional systems, peripheral devices are connected to the base station by multipolar cables, with which the installation of an alarm system requires the corresponding cable installation, which in turn implies the corresponding costs and practical installation difficulties, Therefore, the traditional wired system can be unattractive, especially when it comes to an installation in which some peripheral devices must be installed at a considerable distance from the base station.
To solve the problem of wiring, alarm systems have been conceived in which the peripheral devices and the base station include means of communication between said peripheral devices and the base station through coded signals that are transmitted by radio waves (in radio frequencies). In a conventional system of this type, the base station includes means for receiving radio frequency signals and means for decoding a coded signal received by said receiving means. Intrusion detectors include radio frequency signal transmitters that emit coded signals based on a detected condition. The base station has means to establish, a function of the received decoded signals, if an alarm condition exists and, if such an alarm condition exists, activate at least one device for generating an alarm signal. The device for generating the alarm signal, which may be an external siren or a telephone combiner, may have means of receiving an alarm activation signal from the base station, by radio waves and / or by other means.
All peripheral devices can include batteries that guarantee independence from an external power source.
Most of this type of systems table in certain frequencies of radio transmission. In fact, in the European Union there is a regulation that establishes the frequencies in which these systems can work, that is, the radio communication frequencies between the peripheral devices and the base station, and the commercialization of alarm systems of this is prohibited. type operating on other frequencies (normally, the allowed frequency is 433.92 MHz; a new permitted frequency is likely to be established shortly, possibly around 900 MHz).
Logically, this implies a risk, since it can be easy to sabotage the system by attacking the communication channels between the peripheral devices and the base station. Specifically, knowing the frequencies at which the signals are transmitted between the peripheral devices and the base station, a distortion signal can be generated at the same or at the same frequencies (for example, at the 433.92 MHz frequency), so that the base control panel does not correctly receive the signals emitted by the intrusion detectors and / or so that the devices that generate an alarm signal do not correctly receive the alarm activation signals sent from the base control panel. . In fact, to put such a system out of service, it may be sufficient to operate a remote control that uses the same frequency as the alarm system (for example, the 433.92 MHz frequency).
There are systems on the market in which an attempt has been made to overcome this problem, adding a frequency detector that, when it detects a prolonged signal at the frequency in which the system operates, generates an alarm. Unfortunately, this type of system frequently generates false alarms, since any prolonged signal in the frequency in which the system operates can generate an alarm signal.
Description of the invention
The invention relates to a device according to claim 1 and to a system according to claim 7. Preferred embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.
According to the invention, the device comprises:
- radio frequency detection means;
- means of generating a signal indicative of a possible sabotage when the radio frequency detection means detect a radio frequency for a determined time;
- means of detection of an indi2 condition
ES 2 187 293 A1 cative of an intrusion;
- means of generating a signal indicative of intrusion when the means of detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion detects a condition indicative of an intrusion; Y
- means of generating an alarm activation signal in the event that the signal indicative of a possible sabotage and the signal indicative of intrusion are generated.
The radio frequency detection means advantageously consist of a conventional radio frequency detector. The radio frequency detection means can be configured to detect a specific frequency (for example, the frequency in which an alarm system to which the device is incorporated, for example, the frequency of 433.92 MHz) or any frequency within of a range of frequencies.
The means of generating a signal indicative of a possible sabotage when the radio frequency detection means detects a radio frequency for a certain time may consist of a logic circuit associated with the radio frequency detection means and configured so that, when a signal is detected frequency signal for a time greater than a certain threshold, changes the level of a logic output, for example, from “0” to “1”.
The means of detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion can consist of any conventional device capable of detecting an intrusion condition, for example, in one or more infrared, ultrasoonic, ooptic, microwave, electromagnetic detectors, etc. Preferably, a subsoonic or vibration sensor is used, that is, a vibration detector designed to detect vibrations created by an intruder. However, the means of detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion can also consist of other types of detectors and even a combination of detectors of different types, for example, a combination of "active" detectors (that emit signals and that they receive, for example, rebounds of said signals against nearby objects) and "passive" (that detect vibrations caused by an intruder, infrared radiation emitted by wind, etc.), that generate signals that are analyzed separately and / or in combination. Logically, the sensitivity of the detection means of a condition indicative of an intrusion (thresholds, frequency ranges to be detected, etc.) is preferably adjusted according to the particular conditions of each case, for example, depending on the area or volume. the protected area, the level of ambient noise, etc.
The means of generating a signal indicative of intrusion when the means of detecting a condition indicative of intrusion detects a condition indicative of an intrusion may consist of a simple logic circuit associated with the means of detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion; When said detection means detect the condition indicative of an intrusion (for example, subsoonic vibrations (for example, with a frequency between 0.2 and 2 Hz) caused by an intruder), the means of generating a signal indicative of intrusion can change the level of a logic output, for example, from “0” to “1”. However, the means of generating a signal indicative of intrusion may also include means of performing a more complex analysis of signals from the means of detecting a condition indicative of intrusion, for example, means of performing an analysis of signals from various sources. detectors and, depending on the results of said analysis, generate the signal indicative of intrusion. For example, the analysis may include an analysis of signals captured by a subsonic detector and of signals captured by a heat or infrared radiation detector and the signal indicative of intrusion could be generated, for example, if within a certain period of time that follows a detection of vibrations (caused, for example, by by opening a door and / or window) the presence of an object with a temperature higher than a certain threshold (which may be indicative of the presence of a human being) is detected.
The means of generating an alarm activation signal in the event that the signal indicative of a possible tampering and the signal indicative of intrusion are generated may consist of a logic circuit connected to the logic outputs mentioned above. For example, said means of generating an alarm activation signal may consist of a simple "AND" logic gate with two inputs and one output; the two inputs can be coupled to the two logic outputs discussed above. Therefore, when said two outputs change from the logic level "0" to "1", the output of said logic gate "AND" also changes the logic level, from "0" to "1", regardless of which of the two outputs. have changed levels first. The passage from “0” to “1” of the output of said “AND” logic gate can constitute the activation signal for an alarm. This signal is applied to a device that generates an alarm signal, for example, to a self-powered siren that emitted the corresponding alarm sound, to a telephonic combiner that marks the number of an alarm center of a surveillance company, etc. .
The means of generating a signal indicative of a possible sabotage when the radiofrequency detection means detects a radiofrequency during a determined time, the means of generating a signal indicative of intrusion when the means of detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion detects a condition indicative of an intrusion and the means of generating a signal of activation of an alarm in the event that the indicative signal is generated possible sabotage and the signal indicative of intrusion, They are preferably made as an electronic module that incorporates or is coupled to the radiofrequency detection means and to the detection means of a condition indicative of an intrusion, and which has an output in which the alarm activation signal appears . This output can be connected to a peripheral generator of an alarm signal (for example, to a self-powered siren that emitted
ES 2 187 293 A1 the corresponding alarm sound, to a telephone dialer that dials the number of an alarm center of a surveillance company, etc.), or to a suitable input of a base station of an alarm system, so that the activation signal of an alarm applied to said input causes the base station to generate, in turn, the necessary signals to generate an alarm signal (by means of a siren, telephone dialer, etc.).
Logically, all the means discussed in the above can be carried out in many ways, based on conventional components that exist on the market. What is achieved is a device that generates an alarm when it detects, simultaneously (or within a certain time interval), a radio frequency signal that meets certain conditions (for example, having an amplitude greater than a certain threshold and / or a certain duration and / or that includes one or more certain frequencies) and a condition indicative of an intrusion (for example, subsoonic vibrations caused by an intruder). Logically, it is not always strictly necessary that the radio frequency and the condition indicative of an intrusion be detected simultaneously: The device can be configured in such a way that the alarm activation signal is generated if the radio frequency and the condition indicative of an intrusion are detected within a certain time interval (for example, if a radio frequency is first detected for a time t1 and, a time t2 after the radiofrequency detection has ceased, the condition indicative of an intrusion is detected, with t2 being less than a determined threshold).
The intrusion alarm system according to the invention is based on a conventional system comprising:
at least one intrusion detector peripheral that includes:
- means of detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion; Y
- means of sending, when a condition indicative of an intrusion is detected, a coded signal to a base station, by radio frequency; and a base station that includes:
- means of receiving a coded signal from a peripheral intrusion detector, by radio frequency; Y
- means of generating, as a function of the received coded signal, an alarm activation signal.
According to the invention, said system also includes a security device according to what has been explained above. This security device can be coupled to a conventional system as a separate module from it, or it can be integrated into the system. For example, the logic circuits of the security device can be made in an integrated way with the logic circuits of the base control panel of the system.
In this way, the invention is applicable both to conventional systems that already exist and to future systems, in which the device is preferably integrated into the systems.
Brief description of the drawings
A series of drawings that help to better understand the invention and that are expressly related to preferred embodiments of said invention that are presented as illustrative and non-limiting examples of this, will now be described very briefly.
Figure 1 is a block diagram reflecting a system according to a preferred embodiment of the invention.
Figure 2 is a block diagram showing, schematically, a device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention.
Figure 3 illustrates, schematically, the device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention coupled to a conventional central alarm base station.
Description of preferred embodiments of the invention
Figure 1 shows an intrusion alarm system comprising a subsoonic intrusion detector peripheral (1) that includes a vibration detector (1a), a perimeter detector peripheral (2) that includes an electrical circuit (2a) whose break or cut (for example, due to the opening of a door or window) is interpreted as an indication of an intrusion, and a peripheral detector (3) perimeter that includes an electrical circuit (3a) whose closure (for example, due to the manipulation of a door or similar) is interpreted as a condition indicative of an intrusion. These three peripheral detectors (1, 2, 3) are equipped with the corresponding means (1b, 2b, 3b) of sending, when a condition indicative of an intrusion is detected, a coded signal to a base station (4) by radio frequency. The radio frequency used can be 433.92 MHz.
The system also includes said base station (4), which includes means (5) for receiving the coded signals from the peripheral intrusion detectors (1, 2, 3), by radio frequency; and means (6) for generating, depending on the received coded signal, a signal for activating an alarm. Said alarm activation signal can be sent, by radio frequency, to a self-powered siren (7) and directly, through a conductive wire (16), to a self-powered siren (15) and to the telephone combiner (9).
The system also includes the security device (17) comprising: the radio frequency detection means (10); the means (11) for generating a signal indicative of a possible sabotage when the radio frequency detection means (10) detects a radio frequency for a determined time; the means (12) for detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion; the means (13) for generating a signal indicative of intrusion when the means (12) for detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion detects a condition indicative of an intrusion; and the means (14) of generating a signal
ES 2 187 293 A1 for the activation of an alarm in the event that the signal indicative of a possible sabotage and the signal indicative of intrusion are generated.
The radio frequency detection means (10) are configured to detect a signal with a frequency that corresponds to a communication frequency between the peripheral intrusion detectors (1, 2, 3) and the base station, for example, a frequency of 433 , 92 MHz.
The means (12) for detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion comprise a vibration detector which, preferably, is configured to detect subsoonic vibrations, for example, with frequencies of 0.2-2 Hz.
The means (14) for generating an alarm activation signal are connected to an output that communicates with the self-powered siren (15) and with the telephone dialer (9) and, furthermore, with a radio frequency transmitter (8) through the which the activation signal of an alarm can be transmitted to the self-powered siren (7) by radio waves, in order to activate said siren in the event of an alarm.
Figure 2 illustrates, in a schematic way, the configuration of a preferred embodiment of the security device (17), in which it can be seen how said device includes, on the one hand, the radio frequency detection means (10) and the means ( 11) to generate a signal (S1) indicative of a possible sabotage, and, on the other hand, the means (12) for detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion (in this case, a simple microphone sensitive to subsonic vibrations) and the means (13) of generating a signal (S2) indicative of intrusion when the means (12) of detecting a condition indicative of an intrusion detect a condition indicative of an intrusion (in this case , subsoonic vibrations, for example, in the range of 0.2-2 Hz). In addition, it can be observed, schematically, how the means (14) for generating an alarm activation signal are configured as a logic circuit that generates an alarm activation signal in the event that the signal indicative of the alarm is generated. possible sabotage and the signal indicative of intrusion. The signal indicative of a possible sabotage (S1), the signal indicative of intrusion (S2) and the signal of activation of an alarm (U) correspond to certain signal levels to the outputs of the logic components of a logic circuit; in this case, the signaled signals correspond to logical level "1"; when S1 = 1 (signal indicating possible tampering) and S2 = 1 (signal indicating intrusion), the activation signal for an alarm is generated (U = 1).
Figure 3 illustrates, schematically, how the device of the invention (17), according to another preferred embodiment of the invention, was coupled to a conventional alarm base station (18). In this case, the device does not include a direct connection to the alarm generating peripherals (sirens, etc.), but the output of the U signal for activating an alarm of the device (17) is connected to an input (LN1) of the alarm base station which, in turn, is connected to a siren (19), so that an alarm activation signal U = 1 activates the siren (19) through said base station (18).
Logically, the selection of components and their arrangement will be susceptible to variation, as long as this does not imply an alteration of the basic concept of the invention.
