DESCRIPTION
New direct laminate flooring.
It has been known for a long time to use cellulose sheets (papers) impregnated with phenolic, melamine, etc. resins. that together with boards or wood veneers, plus other components to be defined by each manufacturer, undergo a hot pressing and originate the already known products, such as boards, laminated boards, panels, direct laminate floors, etc., all of them with the They pretended to imitate coatings, mainly floors, wood, ceramics, natural stones, etc.
If melamine has been used and the product will have a single work surface (for example for the floor), the melamine board, coming from the press with a surface that generally ranges between 3 and 8 m2, it is mechanized, that is, it is cut into pieces (slats) of approximately 1,200 x 200 mm., a tongue and groove was made before each piece and it is ready for assembly, obtaining resistant decorative flooring that imitates wood flooring, ceramics or natural stones.
This product suffers from two defects:
1. - It does not present good resistance to wear.
two. - It does not achieve a good imitation of the natural product (ceramics, wood, etc.) that it intends to imitate.
The applicant has investigated the reason why pieces, that is, tiles, planks, boards, even manufactured and used as flooring do not have good resistance to wear. You have appreciated that premature aging begins at the edges of the perometer of said pieces, by the tongue and groove line of the pieces together.
The products known up to now have a uniform surface texture, so that the user, the pedestrian, steps equally (the sole of his shoe makes contact) the center of a tile than the edge or edge and since said perimeter edge is by Its own structure, the weakest area, that area is the one that deteriorates before.
An object of the invention is to overcome this problem by deciding that the product (tile, plank, board, etc.) that has a polygonal shape, normally a rectangle or square, has a perimeter low relief, that is, that the frame of its edges are in a few tenths of a mm. deeper than the rest of the surface of the product, so that when the user steps on, for example, the tile, the sole does not rest on the perimeter edge that remains without contact under the sole, just as the friction or wear, with any other agent that usually comes into contact with the pavement.
The applicant has also investigated the cause of the second defect. It has come to the conclusion that if the imitation is not adequate, it is because its surface texture, both from an optical and tactile point of view, has an erroneous design.
In the current product, the decorative effect of the surface is achieved with the drawing that is printed on the impregnated paper, and with the surface texture that, whatever the product to be imitated, is a monootone texture that covers the entire surface. and which is conferred by the matrix of the press.
The drawing represents the different identifying characteristics (lónea, color) of the natural product that in the natural product present different relief, but the texture (relief) provided by the matrix of the press is distributed equally over the entire surface, with which in the Characteristic areas that in the natural product presented differences in level both to the sight and to the touch, in the now known product it is not produced.
Another object of the invention is to overcome said problem by providing the product (tile, plank, board, etc.) with a surface that is not uniform or monootonic, but whose texture-relief corresponds and adjusts to the areas of the drawing printed on the papers. and defined as identifying characteristics of the natural product.
That is, if, for example, wood knots appear in the drawing, in the final product adjusted to said drawing there appears (in volumetric, conceptual, physical correspondence) a highlighted area that looks and feels like a knot, the same if a wood pore appears, the roughness of natural stone, or the surface bubbles of ceramics, etc.
This is achieved with an exact match between the pattern of the impregnated papers and the relief-texture of the press matrix.
In this way we obtain, for example:
a) .- Designs of ceramic tiles, in which the joints between tiles are in a bas-relief as they appear in pavements made with ceramic tiles;
b) Wood designs in which the veins, pores, knots, etc., that the paper design has, are made by making them coincide with those of the surface texture.
In summary, the novelty consists of a product with a very marked surface texture that adjusts and corresponds to the design provided by the paper, achieving a much more real effect than when the surface texture was not defined and adjusted to the design of the paper. Not only is there an ooptic effect, but the different reliefs appear in the right place and can also be touched.
On the other hand, we significantly increase the life of the product since the joints do not suffer wear because they are free of contact when it is stepped on.
The present invention advocates a new direct laminate floor, one of which consists on its surface of cellulose sheets impregnated with polymerizable resins, on which characteristics have been drawn, and that once pressed, the finished slats have a peripheral edge recess / recess.
It is also characterized by the fact that the ooptic / tactile texture of the soil surface, once pressed, corresponds and adjusts to the characteristics drawn on the cellulose sheets.
To better understand the object of the present invention, a preferred form of practical realization is represented in the plans, suscep2
It is 2 warmth of accessory changes that do not distort its foundation.
Figure 1 is a plan view of the presence of a pattern on the resin-impregnated papers of the product before its pressing.
Figure 2 is a plan view of the tabletop product resulting from pressing the product of Figure 1.
Figure 3 is a representation according to section A: A of figure 2.
An example of a practical, non-limiting embodiment of the present invention is described below.
These types of products usually have cellulose cores impregnated with polymerizable resins such as phenolics and in this case, impregnated with melamine. The soul can also carry wood laminates or other products, such as silica to resist abrasion.
The chemical and multilayer nature of the product is not an object of the invention.
In the drawing (figure 1) it has been possible to represent a perimeter edge that can even be of a different color than the rest. This edge of the drawing will give place in the pressing to the perimeter recess (1) (figure 2).
The unit (4) to be placed on the pavement (figure 2) has a perimeter edge (1) recessed with respect to the rest of the deck surface (s) and that corresponds to the joint areas (2) or crimp by the procedure that is, for example, tongue and groove with the unit (s) attached.
The cutting or cutting (machining) of the first-time board from the pressing can be done by units (slats), for example 300 x 300 mm. or 400 x 400 mm. or 600 x 600 mm., or
045 B2 4 hold several units together in blocks, for example 1,200 x 300 mm. (of four) or 1,200 x 400 mm. (of three).
In this case, the board tries to imitate ceramics, which is why two deformities (a), (b) so common in the surfaces of said material have been represented.
Taking into account that ceramic tiles are usually butt joined through a cement chapel, it was appreciated that the perimeter edge (1) successfully imitates it both to the touch and visually, due to its recess and possible color of the cement that comes from of the drawing of the cellulose papers.
If the user steps between tiles (4) the sole (3) of his shoe never reaches the edge (a) of the tile (4).
It can be seen that once defined in the drawing (figure 1) the characteristics (a1), (b1) of the product to be imitated (ceramics), the volume-relief-texture, (in this case deformities) in the final product (a), ( b) (figure 2) keep a perfect correspondence of position, conceptual, physical, volumetric, etc., with said characteristics drawn (a1), (b1) identifying the product to be imitated.
In the specific case of the perimeter edge (1), a specific characteristic can be considered, for example, of ceraomic tiles.
The machining of the product (floor) coming from the press usually consists of its cutting into units (slats) to be placed on the floor and to provide the slats (if necessary) with means of joining, for example tongue and groove, of the units to each other. .
This machining is not the object of the invention.
