DESCRIPTION
Electrical plug connection.
The invention relates to an electrical plug connection with one or two U-shaped locking brackets, which can rotate around support pins of one of the plug connection halves, where in the locking position of the plug plug connection some locking elements / locking means located on its sides, hook onto the locking pins located on the other half of the plug connection connector.
In this class of plug connections it is necessary that the locking bracket has a knee lever effect, which guarantees the perfect compression of the two halves of the plug connection with each other and that as regards the locking bracket it allows to easily reach the closing position with a defined final position.
From DE-C-26 32 338 it is already known that to meet these requirements, the locking bracket made of sheet metal material is bent in a U-shape and the side parts are provided with overlapping pieces that, when locking, hook onto the locking pins the other half of the plug connection. The locking bracket is supported by pins located in one half of the plug connection, which are guided on the side in a slotted hole and are held by an elastic element.
This locking bracket, which is satisfactory on the whole, is nevertheless complex to manufacture.
The object of the invention is to create an electrical plug connection of the kind initially mentioned so that the locking bracket or brackets can be manufactured in a simple and inexpensive way.
This problem is solved because recesses have been formed on the sides that extend in the direction of the sides, where in the recesses two elastic elements are fitted, the lower end of which is pierced and held by the support pin of the middle of the connection. and because the upper end of the elastic element engages when closing the locking bracket above the respective locking pin of the other half of the plug connection, acting on the locking pin in such a way that both halves of the plug device are elastically compressed together. Advantageous versions of the invention are described in greater detail in claims 2 to 6.
The advantages achieved with the invention consist mainly in that the locking stirrups can be manufactured economically from plastic material by injected cast iron, and that the elastic elements intended to generate the locking forces are simply placed in the recesses of the side parts, and at the same time open the locking bracket are held in place on the corresponding support pins on the body. Extremely low actuating forces but with high retention forces are achieved by using the elastic elements with the tilting lever elements provided in them, which when sliding on the locking pins and after exceeding a top dead center swing to the position. lock.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is represented in the drawing and is described in greater detail below.
They are represented:

Fig. 12 The view of a roller for the elastic element according to Fig. 11.
In Fig. 1 an electrical plug connection is represented, in which there are two plug connection halves 1, 2, coupled to each other. The plug connection halves are provided with electrical contact elements, which are not shown in greater detail here, and which come into contact with each other when the plug connection halves are joined. To block the plug connection halves, U-shaped locking brackets 3 are provided, which are secured and pivoted on support pins 4 of one of the plug connection halves 2.
The locking stirrups, which are represented as an isolated part in Fig. 2, have a gripping part 5 from which lateral parts 6 extend perpendicularly. In the lower zone of the side parts there are respective support holes 7, through which the respective support pin 4 passes once the locking bracket is mounted in the middle of the plug connection 2. The locking brackets are preferably made of plastic material. Narrow recesses 8 are formed in the sides 6 which extend in the direction of the lateral parts, and which are open forwards. In these recesses the elastic elements 9 represented in Fig. 10 are placed, for which a projection 10 of the elastic elements is inserted in a
ES 2 141 981 T3 holding groove 11 of the recess. To achieve good elastic characteristics, the elastic elements are preferably made of a metallic material.
In the lower part of the elastic element there is provided a ring-like projection with a through hole 12, which once the elastic element is positioned is aligned with the support hole 7 of the side parts.
In the upper area of the elastic element, in a substantially circular arc shape, a recess 13 is formed in which the locking element 14 shown in Fig.
Four. For this, the locking element has an approximately round projection 15 congruent with said recess, so that the locking element is pivotally attached to the elastic element. The shape of the recess 13 and the protrusion 15 are fitted together in such a way that the projection can be inserted into the recess from the side, but cannot fall downward. The locking element has a curved contour 16 which, when locking the plug connection halves, slides over the locking pin 17 of the plug half (1), and where the locking pins 17 seat in the final position of the locking bracket. at curvature 18.
The operation of the lock is described below using Fig. 1. To better understand the operation, in Fig. 1 the locking brackets are represented in different positions, and the recesses on the sides have been drawn eliminating the front wall. The left locking stirrup is represented in a position in which the locking element 14 impacts or slides on the locking pin 17. As the locking bracket continues to close, the elastic element 19 bends and opens, the locking element slides with its contour 16 along the locking pin, and after exceeding a top dead center it reaches the final position last, which is the one represented on the right side locking bracket. During this movement to the final position of the locking bracket, the locking element swivels and the locking pin 17 is finally within the round 18.
Due to the corresponding shape of the contour 16 and the seating of the upper part 19 against an edge 20 of the elastic element it is ensured that the locking element remains in this position. By its effect, the locking element acted as a rocker lever element. In the locked position, the elastic force of the elastic element acted in such a way that the halves of the plug connection are strongly compressed against each other.
In Fig. 5 an electrical plug connection with modified locking brackets 3 'is shown, in this case also U-shaped locking brackets are provided that are pivoted on support pins 4 of the half plug connection. two.
Also in these locking stirrups, which are represented as a single part in Fig. 6, have a gripping part 5 from which side parts 6 extend perpendicularly. In the lower area of the side parts there are respective support holes 7 to through which it passed to the corresponding support pin once the locking bracket has been mounted in the middle of the plug connection 2.
Also, these locking brackets are preferably made of a plastic material. Narrow recesses 8 are formed in the sides 6 that extend in the direction of the sides, which are open forwards. In these recesses the elastic elements 9 'represented in Fig. 7 are placed, a projection 10 of the elastic elements sliding in a fastening groove 11 of the recess. To achieve good elastic characteristics, the elastic elements are preferably made of a metallic material. A ring-like projection with a through hole 12 was provided in the lower zone of the elastic elements, which, once the elastic element has been inserted, is aligned with the support hole 7 of the side parts.
Unlike the elastomer element 9 described above, this elastolic element 9 'also has a roughly arc-like shape, but its upper end 21 ends straight. The locking elements 14 'represented in Fig. 8 are provided for the locking bracket. These have a substantially triangular shape but with a short curved contour 16 ', which when locking the plug connector means slides over the locking pins 17 of the plug connection half 1, and where the pins in the end position of the locking bracket The locking elements 17 rest on the round 18. These locking elements also have support or fastening pins 22.
The locking elements are slid into the recesses in the upper part of the sides of the locking bracket, where they are pivoted by means of the support pins that engage in the elongated holes 23. The upper end 21 of the elastic elements tightens first elastically on the surface 24 of the locking elements.
The operation of this lock is described below by means of Fig. 5. To better see the operation, the locking brackets have been represented in Fig. 5 in different positions, and the recesses on the sides have been drawn with the front wall. broken. The left locking bracket is drawn in a position where the locking element 14 'impacts or slides on the locking pin 17. As the locking bracket continues to close, the locking element 14 'slides with its contour 16' along the locking pin, and finally, after exceeding a top dead center, it tilts to the final position, which is the one represented for the right locking bracket. Then the surface 25 rests on the upper end of the elastic element, or else the elastic element presses on the locking element, and the locking pin 17 rests in the round 18. As the locking element is guided or held in the elongated holes 23, it is assured that the elastic force of the elastic elements acted through the locking elements on the locking pins, leaving the halves of the plug connections firmly compressed together.
ES 2 141 981 T3
In Fig. 9 an electrical plug connection with another modification of the locking brackets 3 "is shown, in this case also providing U-shaped locking brackets, which are pivoted on the support pins 4 of the plug. the middle plug connection 2.
Also in this locking bracket, which was represented as a single part in Fig. 10, has a gripping part 5 from which some lateral parts 6 extend at right angles. In the lower part of the lateral parts there are respective holes for support 7, through which the respective support pin 4 passes once the locking bracket has been mounted on the plug connector half 2. These locking stirrups will also preferably be made of a plastic material. Narrow recesses 8 are formed on the sides 6, which extend in the direction of the sides and which are open forwards. Inside these recesses the elastic elements 9 "shown in Fig. 11 are placed, the projection 10 of the elastic element being inserted into a fastening groove 11 of the recess.
To achieve good elastic characteristics, the elastic elements are preferably made of a metallic material. In the lower area of the elastic elements there is an eye-like projection with a through hole 12, which after inserting the elastic element into the recess is aligned with the support hole 7 of the side parts.
Unlike the elastic elements described above, this elastic element 9 ", although it has the shape of an arc of a circle, however at its upper end there is a rounded projection 26. It can be envisaged that the elastic element is positioned as described above in the recesses of the locking brackets, and that when closing the locking brackets the projection slides directly over the respective locking pin, and after passing a dead point upper part the plug half connections are firmly pressed together by the elastic force of the elastic element.
But it is preferable that to reduce the resistance due to friction, that is to say to more easily close the locking brackets, the upper end has a hole 27 in which the roller 28 shown in Fig. 12 can be housed. This locking system is described below by means of Fig. 9. To better observe the operation, in Fig. 9 the locking brackets are represented in different positions, and the recesses on the sides are drawn with the front wall broken. The left locking bracket was represented in a position in which the roller 28 impinges or slides on the locking pin 17. As the locking bracket continues to close, the roller slides / rolls over the locking pin, and after exceeding a top dead center it reaches the final position that is represented for the right locking bracket. The elastic force of the elastic elements now acted on the locking pins, and the plug connector means are firmly compressed together.
