The technical sector of the invention is that of the manufacture of postage stamps and envelopes.

Patent application FR 94 06 356 (MEERSSEMAN Jacques) describes an advertising mail envelope, the front face of which comprises an area dedicated to addressing, an area dedicated to postage and an area dedicated to advertising marking, which is arranged to the left of the front face with respect to the steering area, or under the addressing area and that is, if necessary, completed by an advertising marking on the back of the envelope that can be enlarged by one or two surfaces equivalent to the rear surface of the envelope, and that is (are) removable from the envelope.

The object of the present invention is to provide improved envelopes that integrate one or more stamps.

The invention consists in proposing an envelope (that is to say a flexible packaging) for correspondence (that is to say, a postal item) made of paper or cardboard (or equivalent material) for sending by postal folds of thin objects such as cards or letters, which is preferably rectangular in shape, of which a so-called front wall has on its external face an address writing area and a stamping area for postage, which wall (front) presents a seal (or vine) integrated in said wall, which wall presents an area (or part) of low resistance (that is, mechanical resistance lower than the average mechanical resistance of the wall) that surrounds said stamp.

In other terms, the solution to the problem posed consists in providing an envelope with a stamp (or label, or label), which stamp is preferably rectangular in shape, one side of which has one or more graphic signs (of an advertising and commercial nature). / or postal), which preferably have a rim (or selvage), serrated (provided with regularly arranged teeth), that is integrated into a wall of the envelope and that has means to allow and facilitate its detachment (for example by the presence of lines of small resistance) from the envelope, and therefore facilitate its conservation and storage by a stamp collector.

According to preferred modes of realization, said zone (or line) of low resistance extends continuously around the seal, and is preferably constituted by a part of the wall of the envelope whose thickness is less than the average thickness of the wall, which part of small thickness constitutes a groove (hollow) that extends continuously around the seal, which groove is preferably obtained by using a punch or blade that forms a pre-cut around the seal.

Alternatively, said zone (or line) of low resistance extends discontinuously around the seal, and is preferably constituted by a part of the wall of the envelope that is provided with a plurality of perforations made in the wall, which perforations are of small diameter (of the order of 1 millimeter or less than 1 millimeter), and are regularly spaced along a closed contour (or lone) that surrounds the seal, which perforations are obtained by the action of one or more needles; said stamp may have parts in relief. The invention also provides a pre-stamped envelope (or flexible paper or cardboard packaging preferably in rectangular shape), for mailing by postage sheets of thin objects such as cards or letters, comprising at least one easily removable integrated seal.

The invention also provides a paper correspondence envelope, comprising a peelable area for advertising marking, which has at least one removable seal (reduced in size with respect to the dimensions of the envelope) that constitutes at least a part of said area Peel-off with advertising marking, and that presents a serrated edge and one side of which is marked with graphic signs.
