DESCRIPTION

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention refers to an upper for footwear, applicable to any model of footwear, be it men's or women's, when the footwear is made of a flexible but inelastic material, such as leather.

The object of the invention is to make the cut as a whole flexible and elastic to provide greater comfort to the user.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently the cuts for footwear are made in materials that tend to be of low elasticity, in this sense skin, synthetic leather, fabric, etc. can be specifically cited, so that this lack of elasticity can lead to friction or injuries on the user's foot, especially when the shoe is worn for a long period of time.

This problem is usually solved by improving the anatomical shape of the footwear, so that it adapts perfectly to the user's foot, although as is evident, not all feet are the same and therefore

ES 1 077 759 U therefore the proposed solution is not resolved in its entirety.

Obviously, the best solution is to manufacture the footwear individually based on the specific shape of the user's foot, as is the case with orthopedic footwear, although this solution involves a large increase in costs that the user is forced to pay.

The aforementioned problem is solved in part by the solution claimed in the Spanish utility model U 200700097 of the same applicant, in which an upper for footwear with improved flexibility is described, based on the inclusion of one or more pieces of the flexible material and inelastic with which the upper is constituted and which are joined by elastic pieces in order to confer elasticity to the footwear.

However, this solution has problems such as:

- If the leather is sewn to the elastic material, water can enter through the seams if the footwear gets wet.

- With use, the cut opens and the elastic material can be seen, which is not attractive from the ornamental point of view, in addition to generating thermal and insulation deprivation, where the skin ceases to be and there is only elastic material .

- The internal stitching of the elastic material and the skin, which is precisely where there is greater friction and resistance, can generate friction on the user's skin.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The cut for footwear that is advocated, based on the aforementioned model, presents a series of peculiarities from which advantages are derived and, what is more important, it solves the problems previously exposed.

More specifically, the cut of the invention is based on the fact that in addition to the outer skin layer of the cut, it includes internal pieces of elastic material sewn or fixed by any conventional means, to pieces of skin of the same nature as the outer cut, with the special feature that the entire set formed by the leather cut pieces with the elastic material pieces, are in turn fixed to an inner piece also made of elastic material, establishing a continuous surface of the entire area in which elasticity is provided, avoiding friction of the user's skin with the sewing areas, where the cut is located.

As a consequence of the above, the shoe upper has more layers of skin, as it includes the skin of the cut itself and also the pieces or cuts of internal skin, resulting in a more insulating and comfortable cut for footwear for the user. Without losing flexibility, being able to control the sewing area where it is intended to give more or less flexibility.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

To complement the description that will follow and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred example of

Figure 1.- Shows a side view of a part corresponding to a shoe upper made in accordance with the object of the invention.

Figure 2.- Shows a perspective view of the way in which the beginning of the cut object of the invention is carried out, showing the inner piece of elastic material, as well as the inner piece of skin with the openings o cuts for the pieces of elastic material that are attached to such piece or pieces of skin.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

As can be seen in the aforementioned figures, the shoe upper that is the object of the invention, being constituted from a piece of leather (1) as is conventional, has the particularity that parts or pieces (2) have been provided under it. made of the same material, that is to say also made of leather, and therefore flexible but inelastic, the same as the piece of leather (1), with the special particularity that these internal parts or pieces of leather (2) are

ES 1 077 759 U fix by means of sewing or by means of any conventional system, pieces of elastic material (3), in order to confer elasticity to the upper and therefore to the footwear in which it is applied, in such a way that the piece or internal skin pieces (2) together with the elastic material pieces (3), are fixed to a common and internal piece (4), also made of elastic material, that constitutes a kind of lining to avoid chafing of the user's foot that could cause the seams or fixing means between the mentioned pieces (2) and (3).

In figure 3 you can see the parts (2 ') of the shoe upper that will occupy the holes or openings established in the internal pieces of skin (2), where the pieces of elastic material (3) are precisely fixed, in order to achieve a cut that is totally waterproof, insulating and elastic at the same time, providing comfort and convenience to the user, without compromising the intrinsic characteristics of a conventional cut, which is the possible entry of moisture or water, maintaining the internal thermal level, etc., which is achieved by performing the aforementioned cut.
