Device for distributing gas for cooking, with integral taps

Abstract

Gas distributor (1) for a domestic cooking appliance, of the type that includes an elongated distribution tube (2), connectable at one end to a gas source, and several rotating taps (3) integrated in the distribution tube ( 2) spaced from each other, supplying a gas flow "Q" in an outlet conduit (3b) of the faucet body (4), each faucet (3) including at least said faucet body (4) of cylindrical shape and a conical organ (5) rotating inside the body (4), being the intermediate part of the faucet body (4a) that cooperates in the regulation of the flow rate "Q" inserted inside the inlet hole (2b) of the distribution tube, and coupled to it by sealing means (19-23) for the closure of the two insertion holes (13, 14) in the two opposing walls (2a) of the tube, where the flow of gas "Q" circulating in said inlet hole (2b) accesses each tap (3) through a passage opening (11) in the cylindrical surface (4a) of the tap body (4) overlapped with a passage opening (12) in the conical member (5) in communication with the outlet conduit (3b) of the faucet, thus successively regulating a maximum flow rate "Qmax", an intermediate flow rate "Qgra" and a minimum flow rate " Qmin" constant, by continuous rotation (R) of the conical member (5) between two relative positions, P0 for closing "OFF" of the faucet, and P3 for the flow rate Qmin, characterized in that said passage opening (11) immobile in the body is formed in the direction of rotation (R) of the conical member, by means of a continuous groove contour on said cylindrical surface of the body (4a) inside the inlet hole (2b), with a converging groove-shaped contour (11a, 11b) elongated to cover a certain angular path "Xg + Xm", regulation (11) first of said constant flow rate Qmax, then said flow rate Qgra linearly variable as a function of the angular path "Xg" of the conical member, and finally of the constant flow rate Qmin, and the passage opening (12) in the conical member (5) being formed by two passage area portions (12a, 12b) adjacent to each other, which are overlapped simultaneously or successively in the direction of said angular travel "Xm + Xg" with the continuous slot (11a, 11b) in the faucet body (4) for the respective regulation of each of said flows "Q".
