"Chassis for towing transport vehicles", especially for articulated trailers comprising a plurality of longitudinal beams (1) and transverse crossbars (2) including a plurality of wheels (10), said chassis being divided into two sections (4 , 5), being a first section (4) corresponding to the front part of the chassis that is next to the tractor vehicle and a second section (5) corresponding to the rear part of the chassis that supports a large part of a cargo container (3), characterized by the fact that the first section (4) is made up of a single platen (6) of less thickness than the thickness of the second section (5) of the chassis, also including a coupling hook (7) to be coupled to the towing vehicle.
