Device for the removable coupling of seats and carrycot-cradles in strollers.

It is already known to removably attach a rigid baby seat or a carrycot-cradle to a child car seat, and which generally incorporate a rigid handle, in which the baby is housed until a few months later it can already be housed in the conventional car-chair seat. The aforementioned coupling was carried out by means of devices that comprise a support on each side of the stroller in which the cradle seat is removably held.

The indicated supports are generally complex and unsightly, presenting the corresponding controls to achieve individual unlocking of the mechanisms that retain the seat or the carrycot-cradle.

This complexity, both in the manufacture of these devices and in their use, is solved with the device object of this invention, which has the advantage of being unlocked the two lateral anchoring mechanisms simultaneously with a single control, which is located on the central section of the handle itself in an inverted U shape, the child car seat presenting simple side boxes receiving the aforementioned anchoring mechanisms.

With this, the person carrying the stroller can unlock the coupling of the seat or the carrycot-cradle with his own hand that grasps the handle, which in addition to being very comfortable, allows the other hand to be free, for example to carry the baby in arms.

This device is characterized in that the lower ends of the handle comprise two mechanisms for direct anchoring in the indicated boxes, and which are unlocked by said single command.

This control comprises a rotating cylinder in the periphery of which cables connected to the respective anchoring mechanisms have been fixed at opposite points, all of which is housed in the hollow interior of the handle and said cylinder having a grip appendix that protrudes through an opening provided in the lower area of ​​the central section of the handle.

These and other characteristics would be better deduced from the detailed description that follows, to facilitate which it is accompanied by a sheet of drawings in which a practical case of implementation has been represented that is cited only as a non-limiting example of the scope of the present invention.

According to the drawings, this device for the coupling of seats or carrycot-cradles in infant strollers, comprises at the lower ends of the branches (1) and (2) of the rigid and hollow handle (3), respective anchoring mechanisms (4) and (5) that are simultaneously actuated for unlocking by means of respective cables (6) and (7) that are fixed at their upper end at opposite points (8) and (9) of a cylinder (10 ) rotatable around an axis (11) mounted on an upper complement (12) of the handle, said cylinder presenting the attachment of a radial appendage (13) for actuation and protruding through a lower opening (14) of the central area from the handle.

The anchoring mechanism has a hook (G) that engages a transverse shaft (15) integral with the interior of a seat (16) that is attached to the sides (L) of the chassis of the car-chair. The coupling of this hook on said axis occurs automatically when, when the mechanisms (4) and (5) are inserted into the respective boxes (16), they fit on the respective shafts (15) by means of the vertical notch (E ), where the hook (G) is located.

To unblock the anchoring mechanisms, it would be enough to activate the appendix (13) laterally, followed by the arrow (F) to be able to pull the two cables (6) and (7) and thus act on said mechanisms, releasing the hooks (G) with respect to the respective axes (15).

The handle (3) is hingedly mounted at its lower ends on the sides of the seat or carrycot-cradle (C), said handle also comprising a control (M) to act simultaneously with the locking mechanisms of the different angular positions that it can adopt. the handle, whose conventional mechanisms are also located at the lower ends of the handle.

The invention, within its essentiality, can be put into practice in other forms of realization that differ only in detail from the one indicated only by way of example, to which the protection sought will also be achieved. This device could, therefore, be manufactured for the removable coupling of seats and cribs in baby strollers, with the most suitable means and materials and with the most suitable accessories, the component elements being able to be replaced by other technically equivalent ones, since all of this is included within from the spirit of the claims.
