DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a game, formed by a substantially spherical body and a plurality of elements that can adhere thereto.

In utility model No. U9601368 a skill toy is described which was constituted by a spherical body externally coated with a textile surface. On said surface of the spherical body, a plurality of laminar elements of plantar polyform configuration are fixed, indiscriminately by means of boats, coated, both on their upper and lower face, with a velcro® or similar sheet.

Said spherical body can be constituted as a solid spherical body, filled with pressurized air, partially filled with air or a low weight material, and, at the same time, can also optionally incorporate the end of a flexible element noticeably elongated, fixed to the spherical body by conventional means.

This toy has some drawbacks, as its manufacturing cost is high, mainly due to the fact that the entire spherical body was covered with a textile surface and that the laminar elements were covered by its two sides of a velcro sheet¹® .

In addition, the presence of velcro® sheets on both sides of the laminar elements prevents them from having a printed surface.

With the game of the invention they manage to solve the aforementioned inconvenience, presenting other advantages that were described.

The game of the invention is characterized by the fact that said substantially spherical body comprises a pair of housings arranged in opposite positions, each of which houses a piece of a material provided with a plurality of hooks on its outer surface, said pieces being joined by a pair of ribbons also provided with a plurality of hooks on their outer surface; said elements being provided with a textile surface complementary to the surface provided with a plurality of hooks, so that said elements can adhere by contact to the substantially spherical body.

Thanks to this characteristic, a game is obtained whose manufacturing cost is substantially lower than the cost of the aforementioned game, since the substantially spherical body was only partially covered by the surface provided with hooks allowing the adhesion of the elements.

Another advantage lies in the fact that only one surface of the elements that adhere to the body is covered by the textile surface, allowing the other surface to be printed with the desired symbols or characters. The presence of these symbols allows the elements to be collected.

Preferably, the substantially spherical body is of a vinyl acetate-ethylene polymer. This material is ideal for these types of applications, since it is harmless and non-toxic.

For the best understanding of what is described herein, some drawings are attached in which, so only by way of example, a proactive case of realization of the game of the invention is represented.

In said drawings, Figure 1 is a plan view of the substantially spherical body that is part of the invention's game; and Figure 2 is a view of said substantially spherical sectioned body, having a couple of elements attached.

As mentioned above, the game of the invention was formed by a substantially spherical body 1 and a plurality of elements 2 that can adhere to certain areas thereof.

As can be seen in the figures, the substantially spherical body 1 comprises a pair of housings 3 arranged in opposite positions thereof. In said housings 3 a pair of pieces 4 having an external surface provided with a plurality of hooks are placed. These pieces 4 are joined by a pair of strips 5 also provided on their outer surface with said hooks.

On the other hand, the elements 2 that adhere to the body 1 comprise in one of their faces a textile surface complementary to the surface provided with hooks of the body 1. The other side of the elements 2 was printed with the symbols or characters that are desired. , being able, in this way, to collect the different elements 2.

It should be noted that the elements 2 adhere to the body 1 by the surfaces defined above, which are of the type commonly known as Velcro¹® .

Preferably, the substantially spherical body material 1 is a vinyl acetate-ethylene polymer for microcellular foams, since it has been proven that it has the desired characteristics for this application, since it is harmless and non-toxic.

The game itself consists in adhering, thanks to the skill of the user, said elements 2 on the body 1. As it has been said, these elements 2 were adhered by contact, either by bouncing or rolling the body 1 on them.
