Virtual radio access network system and method for optimized real-time responsive continuous location-based cloud computing, rendering, tracking, and communication services in three-dimensional space through a distributed computing center network

Abstract

Systems and methods are provided for enabling optimized real-time responsive and continuous location-based services in three-dimensional space, including cloud computing, rendering, tracking, and communication through a distributed computing center network. The system includes distributed computing centers connected to data centers, wherein each computing center further comprises one or more cloud servers configured with computing resources sufficient to perform computing and rendering for one or more client devices, and wherein each data center further comprises one or more master servers with computing resources sufficient to perform application and user data storage, synchronization of digital reality data sent by cloud servers, and dynamic network slicing and quality of service management. Instructions to perform these methods are implemented in a digital reality virtual radio access network portion in cloud servers.

15 claims: 5 independent, 10 dependent

  1. 1
A distributed computing center network system comprising:a plurality of distributed computing centers including a first computing center configured to synchronize user data and digital reality application data with a second computing center of the plurality of distributed computing centers, wherein the first computing center synchronizes user data and digital reality application data with and transitions the client device to the second computing center based on quality of service, QoS, and wherein the QoS is managed within the distributed computing center network.
  2. 5
The distributed computing center network system according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the transition of the client device includes a complete application instance, a computing resource allocation, partial computing resources, virtualized computing resources or a combination thereof.
  3. 6
The distributed computing center network system according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the second computing center receives user data from the client device.
  4. 7
The distributed computing center network system according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the QoS is managed within the distributed computing center network by defining a threshold value for a corresponding transition parameter.
  5. 9
A method of transitioning a client device from a first computing center of a distributed computing center network to a second computing center of the distributed computing center network, the distributed computing center network comprising a plurality of distributed computing centers including the first computing center and the second computing center, the method comprising:measuring, within the distributed computing center network, a quality of service, QoS, for the user device;and based on the measured QoS, synchronizing, by the first computing center, user data and digital reality application data with and transiting of the client device to the second computing center.
  6. 12
The method of any one of claims 9 to 11, wherein the transition of the client device includes a complete application instance, a computing resource allocation, partial computing resources, virtualized computing resources or a combination thereof.
  7. 13
The method of any one of claims 9 to 12 further comprising:receiving, by the second computing center, the user data from the client device.
  8. 14
The method of any one of claims 9 to 13 further comprising:defining, by the distributed computing center network, a threshold value for a corresponding transition parameter.
