  1. 1
Claims of equivalent WO 2022182896 A2 CLAIMSWhat is claimed is:1. An autonomous robotic welding system, comprising: a workspace including a part having a seam;a sensor configured to capture multiple images within the workspace;a robot configured to lay weld along the seam;and a controller configured to: identify the seam on the part in the workspace based on the multiple images;plan a path for the robot to follow when welding the seam, the path including multiple different configurations of the robot;and instruct the robot to weld the seam according to the planned path.
  2. 9
A manufacturing robotic system, comprising:a manufacturing tool to perform a manufacturing process on a part in a manufacturing workspace;a robotic arm having multiple degrees of freedom and configured to move the manufacturing tool;one or more sensors configured to capture image data related to the part positioned in the manufacturing workspace;and a robot controller configured to one or more of: determine a location of the part within the manufacturing workspace using the image data;identify one or more sites on the part where the manufacturing process is to be performed;and generate motion parameters for the robotic arm for performance of the manufacture process.
  3. 14
A computer-implemented method for performing autonomous robotic welding, the method comprising:using multiple sensors to capture multiple images of a part in a workspace;generating a point cloud using the multiple images;identifying a seam on the part using the point cloud;determining whether a collision between a robot and a structure in the workspace will occur;planning a path for the robot to follow when welding the identified seam by determining a series of locations and configurations of the robot along the identified seam and based on the collision determination;and welding the identified seam based on the planned path.
  4. 17
A computer-implemented method for performing autonomous robotic welding, the method comprising:capturing multiple images of a robotic welding workspace;producing a three-dimensional point cloud using the multiple images;and welding a seam of a part in the robotic welding workspace based on the three-dimensional point cloud.
