  1. 1
A signal transmission method, comprising:sending (200), by a base station, BS, in a first resource group, a synchronization signal to a user equipment, UE, wherein the first resource group comprises N resources, N is a positive integer greater than 1, each resource of the first resource group is corresponding to one synchronization signal;detecting, by the BS, a random access channel sent by the UE on a resource corresponding to a nth resource in the first resource group;sending (201), by the BS, on a mth resource in a second resource group, a random access response channel to the UE, wherein the mth resource has a first correspondence with the nth resource, the second resource group comprises M candidate resources, M is a positive integer greater than 1, a value range of m is 0 < m ≤ M , a value range of n is 0 < n ≤ N ;and each resource of the second resource group is corresponding to one random access response channel, wherein the synchronization signal sent by the BS is used by the UE for determining the nth resource in the first resource group according to a first rule, wherein determining the nth resource in the first resource group specifically comprises: using a detected resource on which energy of the synchronization signal is the strongest in the first resource group, as the nth resource in the first resource group;and for determining the mth resource in the second group according to the nth resource in the first resource group and the first correspondence.
  2. 4
An apparatus configured to perform any of the methods according to claims 1-3.
  3. 5
A computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to carry out the steps of the method of any one of claims 1-3.
