  1. 1
A wearable electrocardiography monitoring ensemble (300), comprising:a garment (301) comprised of a compressible and elastomeric material and wearable about an upper region of a torso (305), the garment (301) further comprising an internal structure (302) forming a compressive bias circumferential to the torso (305);and an electrode assembly (313) affixed on an inside surface of the garment (301) on an underside of the internal structure (302) such as to be able to slide around a general region on a wearer's skin where a cardiac electric potential signal sensing is desired, comprising: a pair of electrocardiography electrodes (309, 310);a pair of terminated electrical connections (311, 312) that are each coupled to one of the electrocardiography electrodes (309, 310);and a backing (20) to which the electrocardiography electrodes (309, 310) are affixed;the ensemble further comprising: a non-conductive receptacle (25) adapted to removably receive a monitor recorder (14) and comprising: a first pair of electrical pads (34), provided on a bottom surface of the receptacle (25), and into which each of the terminated electrical connections (311, 312) are coupled;and a battery compartment (36) formed on the bottom surface of the receptacle (25) from which a pair of battery leads extend to a second pair of electrical pads, to electrically interface a battery to the monitor recorder, wherein the monitor recorder (14) is configured to establish electrical connection to the pair of electrocardiography electrodes (309, 310) by interfacing to the first pair of electrical pads (34) upon receipt into the non-conductive receptacle (25).
  2. 2
A wearable electrocardiography monitoring ensemble (300) according to Claim 1, the electrode assembly (313) further comprising:a pair of flexible circuits (314, 315) each comprising one of the pair of terminated electrical connections (311, 312), each flexible circuit (314, 315) further comprising at least two electrical pads (316, 317) that terminate the terminated electrical connections (311, 312).
  3. 3
A wearable electrocardiography monitoring ensemble (300) according to Claim 1, the electrode assembly (313) further comprising:a pair of flexile wires (321, 322) each comprising one of the pair of terminated electrical connections (311, 312) interlaced into the backing (20), each flexile wire (321, 322) further comprising one of the electrical pads (316, 317) that terminate the terminated electrical connections (311, 312).
  4. 4
A wearable electrocardiography monitoring ensemble (300) according to Claim 1, the electrode assembly (313) further comprising:pair of flexile wires (321, 322) each comprising one of the pair of terminated electrical connections (311, 312) interlaced into the backing (20), each flexile wire (321, 322) further comprising one of the electrical pads (316, 317) that terminate the terminated electrical connections (311, 312), wherein each of the electrocardiography electrodes (309, 310) is comprised of one of the flexile wires (321, 322) interlaced into the distal end of the backing (20) and comprises an electrically conductive area only exposed on a contact surface.
  5. 5
A wearable electrocardiography monitoring ensemble (300) according to Claim 1, wherein the pair of electrocardiography electrodes (309, 310) are adapted to be positioned axially along a midline (16) of a sternum (13) of the wearer with one of the electrocardiography electrodes (309, 310) adapted to be positioned at the region overlying the Xiphoid process on a human chest and the other electrocardiography electrode (309, 310) adapted to be positioned at the region near the manubrium upwards on a human chest oriented centrally (in the midline (16)) along the sternum (13) from the one electrode (309, 310).
  6. 6
A wearable electrocardiography monitoring ensemble (300) according to Claim 1, wherein the garment is one of a shirt, blouse, or tunic.
  7. 7
A wearable electrocardiography monitoring ensemble (300) according to Claim 1, wherein the internal structure (302) allows the wearable garment (301) to exert a compressive force against the electrode assembly 313 sufficient to keep the electrodes (309, 310) in continuous contact with the wearer's skin.
