  1. 1
A method for receiving a power signal in a receiver (12) of a wireless charger system, wherein the system comprises a wireless charger apparatus (10) which generates a magnetic field, and the receiver (12) magnetically coupled with the wireless charger apparatus (10) so that the power signal is received inductively by the receiver (12), the method comprising:receiving, from the wireless charger apparatus (10) in a standby mode, an initial signal used by the wireless charger apparatus (10) to detect the presence of the receiver (12);transmitting, to the wireless charger apparatus (10) in an ID call mode, information on a native ID of the receiver (12);receiving, in a charging mode, the power signal transferred from the wireless charger apparatus (10);transmitting, in the charging mode, a power adjustment signal for adjusting the power signal transferred from the wireless charger apparatus (10), wherein the power adjustment signal causes the wireless charger apparatus (10) to increase the power signal when a voltage level of the power signal is below a reference voltage value;transmitting, in the charging mode, a second power adjustment signal that causes the wireless charger apparatus (10) to decrease the power signal when the voltage level of the power signal is above the reference voltage value;and transmitting, to the wireless charger apparatus (10), a data signal indicating a completely charged state of a battery (20).
  2. 5
A receiver (12) for receiving a power signal in a wireless charger system, wherein the system comprises a wireless charger apparatus (10) which is adapted to generate a magnetic field, and the receiver (12) magnetically coupled with the wireless charger apparatus (10) so that the power signal is received inductively by the receiver (12), the receiver (12) comprising:a secondary core block (21) which is adapted to receive, from the wireless charger apparatus (10) in a standby mode, an initial signal used for the wireless charger apparatus (10) to detect the presence of the receiver (12);a native ID transmission block (241) which is adapted to transmit, to the wireless charger apparatus (10) in an ID call mode, information on a native ID of the receiver (12) in response to the initial signal;and a controller (24) which is adapted to transmit, to the wireless charger apparatus (10), a power adjustment signal for adjusting the power signal from the wireless charger apparatus (10), wherein the power adjustment signal causes the wireless charger apparatus (10) to increase the power signal when a voltage level of the power signal is below a reference voltage value, wherein the controller (24) is adapted to transmit a second power adjustment signal that causes the wireless charger apparatus (10) to decrease the power signal when the voltage level of the power signal is below the reference voltage value;wherein the controller (24) is adapted to transmit a data signal indicating a completely charged state of a battery (20);and wherein the secondary core block (21) s adapted to receive, in a charging mode, the power signal transferred from the wireless charger apparatus (10).
  3. 8
A method for transmitting a power signal to a wireless receiver (12) of a wireless charger system, wherein the system comprises a wireless charger apparatus (10) which generates a magnetic field, and the receiver (12) magnetically coupled with the wireless charger apparatus (10) so that the power signal is transmitted inductively to the receiver (12), the method comprising:detecting, in a standby mode, the presence of the receiver (12) by transmitting an initial signal to the receiver (12);receiving, in an ID call mode, from the receiver (12), information on a native ID of the receiver (12);transmitting, in a charging mode, the power signal to the receiver (12);receiving, in the charging mode, from the receiver, a power adjustment signal for adjusting the power signal from the wireless charger apparatus (10), wherein the power adjustment signal causes the wireless charger apparatus (10) to increase the power signal when a voltage level of the power signal is below a reference voltage value;receiving, in the charging mode, a second power adjustment signal that causes the wireless charger apparatus (10) to decrease the power signal when the voltage level of the power signal is above the reference voltage value;and receiving, from the receiver (12), a data signal indicating a completely charged state of a battery (20).
  4. 12
A wireless charger apparatus (10) for transmitting a power signal in a wireless charger system, wherein the system comprises the wireless charger apparatus (10) which is adapted to generate a magnetic field, and a receiver (12) magnetically coupled with the wireless charger apparatus (10) so that the power signal is transmitted inductively to the receiver (12), the wireless charger apparatus (10) comprising:a signal detector block (163) which is adapted to detect, in a standby mode, the presence of the receiver (12) by transmitting an initial signal to the receiver (12) and by receiving, in an ID call mode, from the receiver (12), information on a native ID of the receiver (12);a primary core block (151) which is adapted to transmit, in a charging mode, the power signal to the receiver (12);a controller (24) that is adapted to receive, in the charging mode, from the receiver, a power adjustment signal for adjusting the power signal from the wireless charger apparatus (10), wherein the power adjustment signal causes the wireless charger apparatus (10) to increase the power signal when a voltage level of the power signal is below a reference voltage value;wherein the controller (24) is adapted to receive, in the charging mode, from the receiver, a second power adjustment signal that causes the wireless charger apparatus (10) to increase the power signal when the voltage level of the power signal is below the reference voltage value;and a current detector block (16) which is adapted to receive, from the receiver (12), a data signal indicating a completely charged state of a battery (20).
