  1. 1
A backlight unit, comprising:a bottom cover (270);a first layer (210) disposed on the bottom cover (270), wherein the first layer (210) is a substrate;a reflection layer (240) disposed on the top of the first layer (210), the top being opposite to the bottom cover (270);a plurality of light sources (220,221) formed on the reflection layer (240) or on the first layer (210) in holes formed in the reflection layer (240);a second, light transmissive layer (230) disposed on the top of the reflection layer (240) and of the first layer (210) such as to cover the plurality of light sources (220, 221);and a pattern (241) formed on the reflection layer (240) between two adjacent light sources (220, 221) to adjust the reflectance of the reflection layer;characterized in that a width of the pattern (241) increases with increasing distance from one of the two adjacent light sources in the light emission direction of the light emitted by said one of the two adjacent light sources (220, 221) towards the other of the two adjacent light sources (220, 221), said width extending in a direction perpendicular to the light emission direction.
  2. 3
The backlight unit according to any one of claims 1 and 2, wherein a density of the pattern (241) increases with increasing distance from said one of the light sources in the light emission direction such that the reflectance of the pattern (241) is changed in the light emission direction.
  3. 4
The backlight unit according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the plurality of light sources (220, 221) are divided into first and second light source arrays (A1, A2), the first light source array (A1) including a plurality of first light source lines (L1) and the second light source array (A2) including a plurality of second light source lines (L2), wherein the first light source lines (L1) and the second light source lines (L2) are alternately disposed with a distance in a first direction, wherein each of the plurality of light source lines (L1, L2) includes a plurality of light sources (220, 221), wherein the plurality of light sources (220, 221) of each light source line (L1, L2) are respectively disposed in a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction, wherein the light source lines (L1) of the first light source array (A1) are disposed between adjacent light source lines (L2) of the second light source array (A2), and wherein the light sources (220) of the first light source array (A1) and the light sources (221) of the second light source array (A2) are adapted to emit light in different directions.
  4. 5
The backlight unit according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the reflection layer (240) includes:a first reflection layer (242);and a second reflection layer (243) having a reflectance different from a reflectance of the first reflection layer (242), wherein the first and second reflection layers (242,243) are formed adjacent to each other between adjacent light sources (220, 226), the first reflection layer being arranged closer to said one of the two adjacent light sources;wherein the pattern (241) is formed on the second reflection layer (243), wherein the second reflection layer (243) includes: a plurality of first reflection units (244, 245, 246, 247);and a plurality of second reflection units (248) having a reflectance different from the reflectance of the plurality of first reflection units (244), wherein the plurality of first reflection units (244) and the plurality of second reflection units (248) are alternately and repeatedly disposed, and wherein widths of the plurality of first reflection units (244) are configured to gradually increase as being farther away from the first reflection layer (242), the widths extending in a direction parallel to the light emission direction.
  5. 6
The backlight unit according to any one of claims 1 to 5, further comprising:a connector (410) connected to a lower surface of the first layer (210);a hole formed in the bottom cover (270) to allow the connector to pass through to be connected to the first layer (210);and a power supply unit (400);and a cable (420) electrically connecting the power supply unit (400) to the connector.
  6. 7
A display apparatus, comprising:a display module (20) including: a backlight unit (200) claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6;and a display panel (100) disposed on the backlight unit (200);and a back cover (40) covering the display module (20).
