  1. 1
A method of increasing biomass, growth rate, oil content, and/or nitrogen use efficiency of a plant, comprising expressing within the plant an exogenous polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide at least 80 % identical to SEQ ID NO:333, thereby increasing the biomass, growth rate, oil content, and/or nitrogen use efficiency of the plant.
  2. 2
An isolated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence at least 80% homologous to SEQ ID NO:333, wherein said amino acid sequence is capable of increasing biomass, growth rate, oil content, and/or nitrogen use efficiency of a plant.
  3. 3
A plant cell exogenously expressing a nucleic acid construct comprising an isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide which comprises an amino acid sequence at least 80 % homologous to the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:333, and a promoter for directing transcription of said nucleic acid sequence in a host cell, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is capable of increasing biomass, growth rate, oil content, and/or nitrogen use efficiency of a plant.
  4. 11
The plant cell of any one of claims 3-10, wherein said plant cell forms a part of a plant.
  5. 12
A method comprising:(a) transforming one or more cells of a plant with a nucleic acid construct comprising an isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide which comprises an amino acid sequence at least 80 % homologous to the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 333, and a promoter for directing transcription of said nucleic acid sequence in a host cell, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is capable of increasing biomass, growth rate, oil content, and/or nitrogen use efficiency of a plant, and (b) generating a mature plant from said one or more cells of said plant resultant of step (a).
  6. 14
A plant obtainable by a method comprising:(a) transforming one or more cells of a plant with a nucleic acid construct comprising an isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide which comprises an amino acid sequence at least 80 % homologous to the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 333, and a promoter for directing transcription of said nucleic acid sequence in a host cell, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is capable of increasing biomass, growth rate, oil content, and/or nitrogen use efficiency of a plant, (b) generating a mature plant from said one or more cells of said plant resultant of step (a), (c) cross-breeding regenerated transformed plants expressing said polypeptide and (d) selecting resultant progeny for superior biomass, oil content and/or nitrogen use efficiency, wherein the plant comprises the nucleic acid acid construct.
